Where circumstances warrant a change in the current starting and stopping times of the normal tours, the Employer will provide the Association with six ( 6 ) weeks notice and will discuss any changes with the Association prior to implementation.

Standby Any employee required to be immediately available for work on call outside his normal working hours on any regular working day shall be paid three (3) hours pay at the regular rate of pay for such period on call. Any employee required to be immediately available for work on call from the end of his shift immediately prior to first assigned rest day to the commencement of next scheduled shift immediately following the rest shall be paid nine (9) hours pay at the regular rate of pay for such period on call. Where an employee's days off exceed two days in duration this standby premium shall be increased on a pro rata basis. An employee who is required to be immediately available for work on call on a paid Statutory Holiday listed herein shall be paid four (4) hours at the regular rate of pay for such period on call. Such payments shall be in addition to any overtime payment for work actually performed during overtime hours. All employees will be given a minimum of hours notice of the requirement to be on standby. The Employer shall provide where necessary, pagers or cell phones at no cost to the employee. Pay The City will guarantee that during the life of this agreement, no reduction in payroll staff will occur as a result of pay by direct deposit. Part Time Employees The provisions of this memorandum shall apply to the following part-time and casual classifications: Parking Enforcement Officer Facility Service Workers Citizen Service Representatives Activity Assistant and/or any other part-time and casual classifications created during the life of this agreement. With the exception of aquatics staff who are covered by the provisions of the collective agreement shall apply with the following modifications:

  • Christmas/New Year’s Scheduling K-1 Employees will receive at least five (5) consecutive days off at Christmas or New Year's. The Hospital will provide time off from the completion of the night shift the day before the holiday that the Employee is granted (either Christmas Day or New Year's Day). Christmas will include Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day and New Year's will include New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day. Where an Employee requests not to be scheduled off five (5) consecutive days at Christmas or New Year’s, such an Employee is to put her/his request in writing to the Clinical Manager.

  • CHRISTMAS BONUS 16.01 All part-time employees on the payroll of the Company as of December 1st in any year who have completed six (6) months' continuous service with the Company shall be entitled to a Christmas Bonus of fifteen ($l5.00) dollars payable on or before December 15th.

  • Sabbatical Leave The purpose of a sabbatical leave is to enhance professional development, support department/unit goals, and/or meet the instructional, service, or research priorities of the university.

  • Christmas Break The break between Christmas and New Year’s shall be accountable time for all faculty and shall not require attendance on campus. In areas of the University that must, by the nature of their work, operate on a more or less continuous basis, such as the Libraries, Admissions or Counselling, the administrator responsible on consultation collectively with all available regular and non-regular type 2 members in division, shall recommend to the employer suitable levels of operation to be maintained during this break.
