Collective Bargaining Leave. In addition to the release time referred to in Article 37.1, the Board shall grant release time to the Union’s Collective Bargaining Committee (Chief Negotiator and three members) for the purpose of negotiation of a new collective agreement. The Bargaining Unit shall reimburse the Board for its actual replacement costs, if any, for the duration of the member’s leave.

Collective Bargaining Leave. In addition to regular Union leave, during the period of negotiation with the Employer the Union may designate a reasonable number of additional employees to serve on the negotiating team for collective bargaining. The Employer will not interfere with the employeesability to participate in collective bargaining, including any preparatory and planning meetings necessary.
Collective Bargaining Leave. The Employer shall be notified of the names of such employees and the time off requested for bargaining related activities.

Collective Bargaining Leave. 27.2.1 In the year that the Collective Agreement is being negotiated, the Board shall grant a special Leave to no more than five (5) Members, who shall be designated by the Bargaining Unit as the Teachers’ Negotiating Team. The Bargaining Unit shall notify the Manager of Human Resources, in writing, of the names of those five (5) Members who are eligible for such Leave. Such notice shall be given prior to commencement of negotiations and in any case no later than one (1) month following the serving of Notice to Negotiate. 27.2.2 Where possible, the Member(s) shall submit their requests for Leave, in writing, at least one (1) week prior to the requested date of Leave, on the appropriate Form and such application shall be processed through the Principal to the Manager of Human Resources or Designate. 27.2.3 The combined total maximum of all Collective Bargaining Leaves shall not exceed seventy-five (75) days. 27.2.4 The Bargaining Unit shall remit to the Board the Occasional Teacher’s Daily Rate of Pay for each day of absence taken by the Member.
Collective Bargaining Leave. (a) Upon written notice of two (2) weeks and subject to Employer operational safety requirements, leave of absence with pay shall be granted to a maximum of four (4) Employees nominated by the Union to attend collective bargaining sessions with the Employer. Collective Bargaining Leave. (a) The Board shall grant up to three (3) members of the Union Negotiation’s Committee leave to attend collective bargaining sessions with the Board. (b) The Union shall advise the Board, in writing, of the names of the three (3) committee members prior to commencement of collective bargaining. (c) Requests for collective bargaining leave shall be directed to the Manager of Plant or designate on the appropriate leave forms. (d) The Board will be responsible for up to twelve (12) shifts paid leave for the Union to attend collective bargaining sessions with the Board. (e) The Board will invoice the Union for 100% of the salary costs for the collective bargaining leave beyond the twelve (12) shifts paid for by the Board.
Collective Bargaining Leave. (a) The Employer will allow time off without pay and without benefits for up to two (2) employees to serve as permanent members of the Local Union Collective Bargaining Committee. During a leave of absence granted pursuant to this clause, the employee shall claim wages and benefits applicable to the period of leave and the Union shall reimburse the Employer. (b) Members of the Local Union Collective Bargaining Committee may be increased to more than two (2) employees by mutual agreement of the Employer and the Union. The provisions of clause 16.02 (a) shall apply to any leave granted under this sub-clause.
