Full-Time Vacancies. Part-time faculty may apply for full-time faculty vacancies. Full-time faculty vacancies will be publicly posted.
Full-Time Vacancies. (a) Where a full-time position becomes vacant or available and the Employer intends to fill it, preference shall be given to the employee with the most seniority within the department and classification, provided merit, skill and ability are relatively equal and they meet the requirements of the position.
(b) Employees who are interested in such a position must write their name and date of seniority directly on the job posting. The Employer will select the employee who will fill the position from among those who have applied for it, subject to the sub-section 10.20 (a) above.
(c) For a period of seven (7) days, the Employer shall post on the Employer’s bulletin board all vacant or available positions for full-time employees that are to be filled. Employees can apply for these positions within this period.
(d) For a period of seven (7) days, the Employer shall post on the Employer’s bulletin board the name of the person who was hired for the position.
(e) In all such cases under sub-section 10.20, the Employer shall grant the employee who was hired for the position in accordance with sub- section 10.20 a trial period of thirty (30) working days. During this period, the employee may return to their former position by giving the Employer a written notice of one (1) week. The Employer may also return the employee to their former position by following the same procedure.
(f) The Employer and the Union may agree in writing to extend this period for a maximum of thirty (30) additional days.
Full-Time Vacancies. Full-time vacancies which occur shall be posted for ten (10) working days at all Continuing Education administrative areas to afford all unit members the opportunity to apply for them.
Full-Time Vacancies. 7.01 a) Part-time employees who are successful in obtaining a full-time position shall serve a ninety- (90) day probation period. After such period, their full time seniority date will be as of the first day they moved to a full-time position. A part time employee who proves unsatisfactory during the ninety (90) day probation period will be returned to their original part time position. In such case the employee’s part-time seniority will be based on their previous part time seniority hours. In addition an amount equal to the average weekly hours worked as part-time during the six (6) weeks immediately prior to becoming full time will be added for each week the employee worked during the full time probation period.
b) When more than one (1) part-time employee moves to full-time on the same day, their ranking will be determined by their seniority ranking as a part-time employee.
Full-Time Vacancies. A. Because we serve children, it is recognized that the public holds School Employees to a higher standard of behavior. Therefore the District will not employ anyone convicted of a felony. It will not knowingly employ anyone illegally involved in drug activities of any kind. It may dismiss employees after due process has been followed through the grievance process for such things as those listed above, for knowingly violating school policy and procedures or safety standards, for refusal to use safety equipment, or for failure to comply with local, state and/or federal laws and regulations. In filling full time vacancies in job classifications the Employer accepts the principle that qualified full time employees having the greatest seniority shall be preferred for promotion or transfer to such job classification.
B. When it is necessary to fill a full time vacancy in either an established job classification or in a newly created job classification, a notice of the vacancy will be posted on the Union bulletin board at each unit. Such notice shall indicate the job classification in which the vacancy is to be filled, the location if the vacancy is custodial, and the shift assignment anticipated at the time of posting. All full time employees who wish to be considered as applicants for the vacancy shall within three (3) working days after the date of posting, file written applications requesting such consideration. Such applications shall be on Forms prescribed by the Employer and shall show the qualifications of the applicant for the vacancy. All applicants for the vacancy shall be considered in the order of their seniority and the senior qualified applicant shall be assigned to fill the vacancy. All proper applications received less than one posting shall be held valid until a full time employee has satisfactorily completed his/her probationary period. If two (2) or more full time vacancies are posted at the same time, and a full time employee files applications for more than one (1) he/she shall indicate his/her preference.
C. The Employer reserves the right: (a) to employ individuals with special abilities or training from outside the organization when such services are required and not immediately available within the organization, or (b) to employ a qualified individual to fill a posted full time vacancy for which there is no qualified applicant.

Full-Time Vacancies. A full-time vacancy shall exist when a full-time employee is transferred or terminates employment and a full-time position remains open, or scheduled hours warrant the addition of a full-time position.

B. Application for another position, whether within the College or elsewhere, is recognized as a professional right and shall not adversely affect an applicant’s status in his or her present position.
C. When full-time positions become available, Senior Adjuncts will be interviewed in at least an equal number to external candidates interviewed, in seniority order among qualified Senior Adjuncts and provided that there are sufficient numbers of qualified Senior Adjuncts who apply. The College retains the discretion to make the hire decision and that decision is not subject to the grievance procedure.
D. Senior Adjuncts who are interviewed for full-time positions will be notified in writing concerning the disposition of his or her application when a hire decision is made.
Full-Time Vacancies. The College will notify the Union in writing, when a full-time academic vacancy occurs or a new full-time academic position is created. Notice of vacancies will also be posted prominently on the College’s website.

Full-Time Vacancies. The Company will advise employees when it has a permanent full-time vacancy, which it wishes to fill, so that interested employees may make application for the position. The Company will give consideration to applications received from part- time employees AFTER full time employees have been considered under Article 5 of the body of the Agreement and BEFORE considering outside applicants. A part time employee who becomes a full-time employee must complete the full-time probation period.
