Governing Board Meetings. The School’s Governing Board is a public body accountable to the authorizer, to the federal and state government, and to the community their School serves. Pursuant to HRS §302D-12, the Governing Board shall hold meetings open to the public. To enable public attendance and participation in person or through remote technology, Governing Board meetings must be held in a way sufficient to accommodate public participation.
Governing Board Meetings. Architect acknowledges that the District’s governing board must approve all designs. Architect shall, at the District’s direction, attend District governing board meeting(s) and present the Architect’s design to the District’s governing board for review and approval. Architect shall bill hourly for any Extra Services, unless provided for otherwise herein, or unless an alternate payment structure is expressly requested in writing by the District. The following Extra Services to the Agreement shall be performed by Architect if needed and if authorized in writing by the District in accordance with the Article “Payment for Extra Services or Changes” in the Agreement:
1. Making revisions in drawings, specifications, or other documents when such revisions are:
1.1. Required to comply with direction from the District that is substantively different than approvals or instructions previously given by the District.
1.2. Required by the enactment or revisions of codes, laws, or regulations subsequent to the preparation of the Conforming Set, unless those enactments or revisions were foreseeable or reasonably should have been foreseeable by the Architect prior to preparation of the Conforming Set.
1.3. Due to changes required as a result of the District’s failure to respond to a written request from the Architect within a reasonable time, as requested by Architect.
1.4. Required to provide services in connection with Change Orders and directive not the fault of the Architect.
2. Providing services required because of significant documented changes in a Project initiated by the District, including but not limited to size, quality, complexity, the District’s schedule, or method of bidding or negotiating and contracting for construction.
3. Providing consultation concerning replacement of work damaged by fire or other cause during construction and furnishing services required in connection with replacement of that work.
4. Providing services made necessary by the default of contractor(s), by major defects, or deficiencies in the work of contractor(s).
5. In the absence of a final Certificate of Payment or Notice of Completion, providing Services more than sixty (60) days after the date of completion of work by contractor(s) and after Architect has completed all of its obligations and tasks under the Agreement.

Governing Board Meetings. The second Tuesday of each school calendar month shall be reserved for the Association Governing Board meeting beginning not earlier than fifteen (15) minutes after student dismissal.
Governing Board Meetings. The Faculty Association President and the Adjunct Faculty Association President shall be accorded sufficient time at all regular Governing Board meetings to present Faculty views. All Faculty, including the Faculty Association President, and the Adjunct Faculty Association President, shall be furnished notice of all regular and special meetings of the Governing Board, stating date, time, and location. In addition, agendas, minutes, budgetary information, and study materials will be furnished to the Faculty Association President and the Adjunct Faculty Association President at the same time and in the same form as those furnished the Governing Board.

Governing Board Meetings.
A. The Governing Board shall hold a minimum of two scheduled meetings annually: one in August, and one in March (the annual Organizational Meeting). Additional meetings may be called as special meetings at the call of the President or by written petition of four (4) or more Governing Board members. The following topics shall be considered at the minimum yearly meetings; additional agenda items may be considered at any meeting.
Governing Board Meetings. The governing board of the School shall conduct public meetings at such intervals as are necessary to ensure that the board is providing sufficient direction to the School through implementation of effective policies and procedures. Governing board meetings will be conducted in keeping with the requirements of the Xxxxx X. Xxxxx Act (Government Code sections 54950 – 54962). Governing Board adopted policies, meeting agendas and minutes will be posted on the School’s website.
Governing Board Meetings. Meetings of the Governing Board may be called by any member of the Governing Board. A schedule of regular meetings shall be established at the beginning of each Fiscal Year. Regularly scheduled meetings shall not require any further advance notice. All other meetings shall be held upon four (4) days’ notice by mail or seventy-two (72) hours’ notice delivered personally or by telephone or email and simultaneously giving notice in accordance with Section 11.01. A notice need not specify the purpose of the meetings. Notice of a special meeting need not be given to any member of the Governing Board who signs a waiver of notice or a consent to holding the meeting or an approval of the minutes thereof, whether before or after the meeting, or who attends the meeting without protesting, prior to its commencement, the lack of notice to such member. All such waivers, consents and approvals shall be filed with the Governing Board and made a part of the minutes of the meeting. Meetings of the Governing Board shall be held at Adeptus’ corporate office in Texas or UCH’s corporate office in Colorado on an alternating basis and shall be so designated in the notice of the meeting or at such place as may be approved by the Governing Board. One or more Governing Board members may participate in a meeting through use of conference telephone or similar communications equipment, so long as all Governing Board members participating in such meeting can hear one another. Participation in a meeting in such manner constitutes a presence in person at such meeting.
Governing Board Meetings. During the term of the Charter, the Charter School agrees to comply with both the Brown Act and Education Code section 47604.1, and to conduct the meetings of its governing board in accordance with the same laws. Such compliance includes making public the agendas of such meetings in advance, meeting within the physical boundaries of Sutter County (except as authorized by Government Code section 54954), and establishing a two-way teleconference location at each school site, as required by law. Within 60 days of the effective date of this Agreement, the Charter School will provide verification by letter to the District that all members of the Charter School governing board, administrative staff, and any other staff deemed appropriate by the Charter School have participated in Brown Act training. The governing board of the Charter School shall conduct public meetings at such intervals as are necessary to ensure that the governing board is providing sufficient direction to the Charter School through implementation of effective policies and procedures. The District reserves the right to appoint a representative to the Charter School’s governing board in accordance with the provisions of Education Code section 47604. The Charter School agrees to provide to the District’s representative on the governing board a complete board packet of information being submitted to the board before each meeting, in sufficient time for review. Governing board adopted policies, meeting agendas and minutes shall be maintained and shall be available for public inspection and to the District during site visits (or upon request).
