Individual Employee Contract. The District shall provide each employee a contract with all assignments indicated therein and in conformity with Washington State Law, State Board of Education regulations, and district policies, procedures, and agreements.

Individual Employee Contract. The District shall provide each employee a contract in conformity with this Agreement. Said contracts shall contain at least the following: "This contract shall be subject to and consistent with Washington State law and the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the District and the Xxxxxxx Education Association/United Teachers of Everett. In the event that any of the provisions of this individual employee contract shall be inconsistent with the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, then the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement shall prevail." At the time employees are issued contracts for their signature (that have been pre-stamped with the signature of the superintendent) they are asked to return one (1) original to the District and keep the other copy for their records. Individual contracts for the ensuing year shall not be issued prior to May 15.

Employees teaching under supplemental contracts during the summer may utilize any of their accumulated sick leave or emergency leave during the summer session. Employees paid hourly at per diem rate, to include conference and planning.
Individual Employee Contract. A. Copies of the Contract: Three (3) copies of each contract in the form of Appendix 4, Form A, shall be given to the employee each year for signature. One (1) copy is retained by the employee at the time it is signed. Two (2) copies are forwarded to the District Office to be signed by the Board. One (1) of these copies is then placed in the employee’s personnel file and the second copy is returned to the employee. B. Provisional Contracts: Provisional employees’ contracts in the form of Appendix 4, Form B, shall be provided for all new employees to the District. The provisional employee’s contract shall meet the guidelines of state law. Copies of the provisional contract shall be in accordance with A. above.

By June 1st of each year, individual employees will be asked to sign a Notice of Intent to Return. Such notice shall include notation of each employee’s contract status (leave replacement, provisional, continuing) and FTE. Staff members indicating intent to return shall be released from the individual employee contract for the upcoming year if they give notice to the District prior to August 15th. If notice is given after August 15th, staff members will be released provided the District can hire a qualified replacement.

For certificated non- supervisory employees who have continuing contract rights under RCW 28A.405, a continuing contract will be issued and renewed annually, unless the contract is non-renewed or terminated by the Superintendent as allowed under RCW 28A.405. Employees must sign and return their first certificated non-supervisory continuing contract. Thereafter, continuing contracts will be issued to an employee and are deemed accepted by the employee after fourteen (14) days of issuance, unless the employee resigns in writing at any time prior to July 1. Provisional employees must sign and return a provisional employment contract every school year they are employed by the District.
Individual Employee Contract. A. The District shall provide each employee a contract for each sport/activity, at least 10 working days prior to the beginning of the season. The contract shall be in conformity with Washington State Law, State Board of Education Regulations, and this Agree- ment. Each employee will give the district notification of intent to take classes by July 15 of each year. The notification will count towards the coach’s credit to maintain his/her certification. When credits are completed, the employee must give proof of clas- ses completed to the district. B. An employee may retain one (1) copy of his/her individual contract upon signing. All other copies shall be returned to the District for processing. C. The District and Association agree to discuss any alterations in current contacts or the creation of new extra-curricular contracts prior to implementation. D. At no time shall a unit member bargain for an individual or extra-curricular contract with the District prior to the District and Association meeting, conferring, and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the extra-curricular contract. Extra-curricular contracts will ex- pire at the end of every year.
Individual Employee Contract. All individual employee contracts (see appendix A) shall be subject to, and consistent with, Washington state law and the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If any individual certificated employee contract contains any language inconsistent with this Agreement, this Agreement, during its duration, shall be controlling. The Board shall not solicit execution of any individual certificated employee contract at such time or in such manner as shall constitute an unfair labor practice. Nonprofessional personnel shall not be assigned to perform work in the instructional setting (classroom) which will substitute or replace a certificated employee in his/her assignment or employment. All certificated employees shall be placed on the annual salary schedule in accordance with the criteria for salary schedule placement as contained in this Agreement. The District shall provide each certificated employee a contract with building assignment(s) indicated therein. Such building assignment(s) shall be subject to Section 8 contained herein.
