Working Away From Home. For each night an Employee is required by the Employer to be absent overnight from their usual place of residence, for example where an Employee cannot reasonably travel from or back to their usual place of residence on the day on which they are required to work by the Employer, the Employer will:

68.1 Eligible employees will be paid living away from home allowances, travelling allowance or camp allowance depending on their accommodation and the length of their stay.
Working Away From Home.
43.1 For each night an Employee is required by the Employer to be absent overnight from their usual place of residence, for example where an Employee cannot reasonably travel from or back to their usual place of residence on the day on which they are required to work by the Employer, the Employer will:
(a) pay the Employee the higher of the following:
(i) 2.5% of the AHP1 Grade 1, Year 2 rate per overnight period between Monday and Friday; or
(ii) 5% of the AHP1 Grade 1, Year 2 rate per overnight period that includes a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday; and
(b) pay for all reasonably incurred expenses in respect to fares, meals and accommodation.
Working Away From Home. 4.6.1 The Employer is committed to providing an adequate standard of support, workplace amenities and living conditions for employees who are temporarily required to remain away from home due to their distant work location.
4.6.2 Where employees are required to remain away from home overnight:
a) the Employer will supply suitable accommodation and three adequate meals each day; or
b) the Employer will supply suitable accommodation and reimbursement of expenses as per Appendix 2.
Working Away From Home. Employees who are required to work away from their normal place of work requiring overnight accommodation, will do so in accordance with the terms and conditions as follows. The preferred arrangement is for ENERGEX to provide full board and accommodation to the minimum standard. Where ENERGEX provides meals, these shall be of a suitable quality and quantity to meet the nutritional needs of employees. However, employees may elect to receive a meal allowance to cover the cost of meals in lieu of full board being provided. This allowance will be provided in accordance with the following arrangements.
Working Away From Home. 14.1 The Employees, the Union and the Company recognise that as a normal part of the operations of this business there may, from time to time, be a requirement for employees to work away from their normal starting place. As such Employees understand that they may be required to live away from home for periods of time. As such the parties agree to formulate a Working Away From Home arrangement applicable to all of the parties bound by this agreement.
Working Away From Home. 10.1 The employer will provide the employee with a minimum of 10 hours of away work for each day of the week (Monday to Sunday). Mobilisation on weekends will incur a 4-hour minimum. All hours worked are paid in accordance with clause 8 ‘Hours of Work’.
10.2 Accommodation and meals will be provided whilst working away from home.
10.3 Employees must seek prior approval from their Manager before making any arrangements to provide their own accommodation and/or meals, when working away from home.
10.4 If the Company or Client does not provide meals for Employees when they are working away from home, Employees may be reimbursed for the cost of their meals as follows: • Up to $69.00 where meals are not provided during a full day of work (8 hours or more); or • Up to $37.50 where meals are not provided during a half-day of work (less than 8 hours).
Working Away From Home. 26.1 Entitlement 26.1.1 The employer shall provided a distant worker with reasonable board and lodging at no cost to the employee or pay the living away form home allowance contained in the contractor’s parent Agreement when employed on the construction site at such distance from the employee’s usual place of residence that the employee cannot reasonably return each night. It shall be considered impractical where the distance travelled exceeds 100klm (by the shortest practical route) from the project to the usual place of residence. An employee who works until or beyond 6pm (E.S.T) or (7pm Daylight Saving Time) and who resides between 50klm and 100klm shall be provided with reasonable board and lodging (or 1/7th of the L.A.F.
Working Away From Home. Eligible employees will be paid living away from home allowances, travelling allowance or camp allowance depending on their accommodation and the length of their stay. Camp allowance will increase in line with wage increases in clause 19 in this Agreement.
Working Away From Home. Application This clause only applies to those Employees who are required to work at such a distance from the Employee's usual place of residence that the Employee cannot reasonably return to that place after each shift. Accommodation
15.2.1. The Company will provide Employees with accommodation and meals while rostered to be on site. It is a requirement that the Employee will observe and comply with all relevant site rules. Failure to comply with such rules and behaviour standards may result in disciplinary action, including the withdrawal of the Employee's accommodation and termination of the Employee's employment.
15.2.2. The Company will provide transport to and from the site accommodation and main worksite.
15.2.3. The Company may at any time, through its officers, employees or delegates, inspect and search an Employee's:
a. personal property on the Company's premises or other work site location;
b. work area; or
c. on-site accommodation rooms.
15.2.4. The Employee, or their nominated representative, is entitled to be present at any inspection or search of the Employee's personal property. Living Away From Home Allowance
15.3.1. Payment of LAFHA will be in accordance with the prevailing ATO guidelines at the time to enable the Employee to provide their own messing and/or accommodation and will be made in lieu of Company provided messing and/or accommodation. Concessional taxation treatment will only be applied subject to the Employee providing any documentation and meeting any requirements (including a declaration of their Usual Place of Residence) as required by the ATO from time to time in connection with LAFHA. 15.4.1. The Company will provide Employees with flights in accordance with the table below: Commencement of on duty period The nearest capital airport to the employees point of hire The airport nearest the workplace designated for the employee Commencement of off duty period The airport nearest the workplace designated for the employee The nearest capital airport to the employees point of hire
15.4.2. It is each Employee's responsibility to board scheduled flights booked for the Employee by the Company. Where the Employee misses a scheduled flight, it is the Employee's responsibility to transport themselves to the relevant destination.
15.4.3. If an Employee misses a booked commute flight, the Company:
a. reserves the right to reconcile the full cost of the airfare from any amount owed by the Company to the Employee; and
