MILITARY DUTY PAY. 1. Any employee under enlistment called to serve for annual training or a tour of duty with the National Guard or Armed Forces Reserves Unit shall be paid the difference between his pay for such government services and the amount of straight time earnings lost by him by reason of such service. 2. The Town agrees to continue to provide the healthcare coverage for any member activated with the same premium cost share, as if the employee was working. 3. Any individual covered by this Agreement, reporting for routine yearly active duty shall notify in writing the Departmental Secretary, thirty (30) days prior to departure date. 4. Earned time approval for military duty shall be excluded from usage limitations (as per Earned Time Article) and shall not impact other members earned time usage.

MILITARY DUTY PAY. 1. Any employee presently under enlistment called to serve no more than a seventeen (17) day annual training tour of work with the National Guard or Armed Forces Reserves Unit shall be paid the difference between his or her pay for such government services and the amount of straight time earnings lost by him or her by reason of such service. 2. Any employee covered by this Agreement, who decided to enlist in a military reserve unit, shall not receive differential compensation from the Town. 3. Any individual covered by this Agreement, reporting for routine yearly active duty shall notify in writing the Town thirty (30) days prior to departure date. Noncompliance to this Article shall mean forfeiture of one (1) day's compensation.

Similar protection shall be provided for a maximum period of two weeks per year to employees called for emergency National Guard service. The differential in pay for employees shall be calculated at their regular rate. The computation of payments shall be on the basis of straight time, excluding all overtime but including shift premium.

MILITARY DUTY PAY. An employee called to serve not more than a seventeen (17) day annual training tour of duty with the National Guard or Armed Forces Reserves will be paid the difference between his pay for such government service and the amount of straight time earnings lost by him by reason of such service, based on the employee's regular straight time rate and schedule. Such payments are to be made following the showing of satisfactory evidence of the amount of pay received for such service.
MILITARY DUTY PAY. A. Short–Term Military Duty Pay An employee with one or more years of seniority who is called to and performs short- term active duty of thirty (30) days or less, including annual active duty for training, as a member of the United States Armed Forces Reserve or National Guard shall be paid by the Company for each day partially or wholly spent in performing such duty, if the employee otherwise would have been scheduled to work for the Company and does not work, an amount equal to the difference, if any, between: 1. The employee's regular straight-time hourly rate (average straight-time hourly earnings, including the classification rate and incentive earnings, if applicable, but excluding shift premium, seven day operations bonus, overtime and any other premiums, for the last four pay periods worked immediately preceding the week prior to the week in which the employee reports for military duty) for the number of hours up to eight (8) that he or she otherwise would have been scheduled to work and 2. His or her daily military earnings (including all allowances except for rations, subsistence and travel). The Company's obligation to pay an employee for performance of military duty under this Section is limited to a maximum of ten (10) scheduled working days in any calendar year; except where the days of such active duty are the result of local states of emergency or riot, in which case they shall not be chargeable against the ten (10) scheduled working day maximum. Short–Term Military Duty Pay for employees working an alternative work schedule is outlined in Article XI, Section 4. In order to receive payment under this Section, an employee must give the Company prior notice of such military duty and upon the employee's return to work must furnish the Company with a statement of his or her military pay while on such duty. B. Military Leave Pay and Benefits for UAW Employees – U.S. Attack on Terrorism The Company will extend eligibility for differential pay, health care insurance and profit sharing to Company employees who are members of the U.S. Armed Forces Reserves or National Guard and are activated after the Effective Date and before March 31, 2017. To be eligible for military leave pay and benefits, an employee must: 1. Be on active duty; 2. Stationed in an active war zone or area of current military conflict; and 3.
