OVERTIME AND TIME BANK. 36.1 Work will not extend into overtime without approval of the Employer. The Employee will have the right to refuse unscheduled overtime, however, scheduled overtime will be worked when required by the Employer as provided in ARTICLE 30. 36.2 The Employer may establish a time bank for all Full-time Regular Employees and Full- time Seasonal Employees (the “Time Bank”). 36.3 The Time Bank will be subject to the following conditions: (a) the Employer may assign the Employee paid time off in lieu of paying overtime, meal penalty or payment for statutory holidays; (b) time will be converted to straight time before being banked or when withdrawn. For example, if an Employee works 3 hours of overtime and 1 hour of double time, up to 6.5 hours may go into the Time Bank. If an Employee has a negative balance of 6 hours in the Time Bank, then the Employee will work the equivalent of 6 hours straight time; (c) all positive balances in the Time Bank will be paid out and any negative balances voided: (i) by August 31 annually for Full-time Regular Employees; (ii) within 2 weeks of layoff for all Employees; and (iii) within 2 weeks of the end of the Season for Full-time Seasonal Employees; (d) for greater certainty, the Employer will not set-off the amount owing on a Full-time Seasonal Employee’s final pay cheque at the end of the Season; and (e) the Time Bank will be limited to a maximum positive balance of eighty (80) hours and a maximum negative balance of twenty (20) hours.

OVERTIME AND TIME BANK. 21.01 Management must authorize all overtime. 21.02 Management will make reasonable efforts to distribute overtime equitably. 21.03 When Management authorizes overtime, it must first be offered to qualified GAFAE Bargaining Unit Members on a volunteer basis. If no volunteers are found, Management may Draft GAFAE Bargaining Unit Members to perform the overtime work, per Article 48.03. 21.04 Management will provide as much notice as practical when calling overtime, recognizing that short notice may occur due to operational circumstances. 21.05 It is recognized that due to the nature of First Air’s operations, Members may be called-in to work to complete specific tasks as required by Management. When a Member has been called-in to complete these tasks, they will be paid a minimum of three and one half (3½) hours pay. This may be in addition to any On Call pay. (a) Where meals are not provided, a meal allowance of twelve dollars ($12.00) will be provided to Members who work two (2) hours or more beyond the end of a regularly scheduled shift of eleven and one-half (11 ½) hours or more, or to Members who work three (3) hours beyond a regularly scheduled shift of less than eleven and one-half (11 ½) hours. In order to obtain the twelve dollars ($12.00) meal allowance, a Member must submit an expense claim. This clause applies where notice of the overtime is provided on the same Day that the overtime is worked. (b) Where notice of overtime is provided to a Member to work on a scheduled Day off, the Member will be given a meal allowance similar to that in clause 21.06 (a), provided that the Member works three (3) hours beyond the shift that was requested by Management. If the Member is requested to work eleven and one-half (11.5) hours or more, then the Member is only required to work two (2) hours beyond the end of the shift in order to receive the meal allowance. 21.07 Earned overtime is to be placed in the Member’s Time Bank and will be awarded at the rate it was originally earned. There shall be no limit to the Time Bank hours accumulated. No Member shall be permitted to have a negative balance in their Time Bank. A Time Bank statement will be provided to Members on a regular basis. The Time Bank shall be managed in the following way: i) A Member may cash out Time Bank hours at his discretion and does not require his Manager’s approval, or; ii) A Member may draw on Time Bank hours in order to take time off from work, however, such time off from work is subject ...
OVERTIME AND TIME BANK. ‌ In lieu of payment for overtime and/or call-back, an employee with room in his/her overtime bank may elect to bank credits in their overtime bank, which shall be capped at one hundred and twenty-six (126) straight time hours. It is understood that the time credited to their overtime bank is to be taken in time off at a mutually agreeable time. If the time off provided requires a replacement, then their overtime bank shall be deducted at one and one-half (1½ hours for each hour taken in time off). An employee may request at any given time a payout of a portion or all of the hours accumulated in their overtime bank. In the event of death or retirement or termination, where the employee was not able to use all of the banked credits, payment will be provided for any unused credits. All time off taken shall be at the employee’s current rate of pay regardless of the rate at which the Time Off in Lieu was earned. When an employee utilizes his/her overtime bank as paid leave, the time removed from his/her overtime bank will be the hours of least value.

  • Place and Time The closing of the sale and purchase of the Shares (the “Closing”) shall take place at the offices of Xxxxx Xxxxx & Associates, PLLC, 0 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, X.X. 00000 on such date (the “Closing Date”) and time as the parties shall so agree.   • Overtime for Part-Time Employees ‌ (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee. (b) A part-time employee working less than the normal days per week of a full-time employee, and who is required to work other than their regularly scheduled workdays, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the days so worked up to and including the normal workdays in the workweek of a full-time employee. (c) Overtime rates shall apply to hours worked in excess of (a) and (b) above.

  • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with Company’s policy in place from time to time; provided, however, that Executive shall be eligible to accrue no less than twenty (20) days per calendar year (with such amount prorated for the balance of 2017).

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate. 5.3.2 Additional holidays recognized in the Construction Industry in each geographical area will be observed on all work covered by this Appendix.

  • Travel time allowance All employees shall be paid an allowance (See Appendix A) for each day on which they present themselves for work. The allowance shall also be paid for rostered days off.
