Pay for Work on Holidays. Any employee who works on a general holiday as outlined in section 13.01 shall be paid time and one-half (1½) for all hours worked on the holiday, plus holiday pay, provided the employee is qualified to receive holiday pay under the terms hereof.
Pay for Work on Holidays. Any Employee who is entitled to a paid holiday under this Agreement and who is required by the Employer to work on any such holiday shall receive time and one half (1½) such employee's regular wage rate for each hour and portion thereof.
Pay for Work on Holidays. All full-time, part-time and per diem nurses who work on the following holidays, New Year’s Day (which will begin on 7:00 p.m. on December 31st and end 11:00 p.m. January 1), Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (which will begin on 3:00 p.m. December 24th and ending 11:00 p.m. December 25th) shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1-½) times the nurse’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the holiday.
Pay for Work on Holidays. When an employee works on any of the above holidays from 00:01 on the day of observance of the holiday until 24:00 the same day, he shall receive the following rates of pay in addition to the provi- sions of Section 10:02 and 10:03:
(a) Two (2) times his straight time hourly rate for hours worked (maximum eight (8) hours on his scheduled shift); and
(b) Three (3) times his straight time hourly rate for all other hours worked.
Pay for Work on Holidays. Regularly scheduled full time and part time employees, after completion of the probationary period, who are required to work on New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day shall be paid at one and one half times the employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on the actual day of the holiday. Work on holidays shall be rotated by the Hospital to the extent feasible. If the employee’s department, unit or work area is closed on a particular designated holiday, and the employee would have otherwise been scheduled to work, he/she will be paid earned/accrued PTO for this day for the number of normal work hours. (If the closure is not on an Employer designated holiday, this will be considered Low Census [per Article 6.4]).
Pay for Work on Holidays. Nurses who are required to work on any of the following actual holidays will be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular straight-time hourly rate of pay for all hours actually worked on the actual holiday. For pay purposes, a holiday shall begin at 12:01 AM on the day designated as the holiday and end at Midnight of the same day. In addition to one and one-half (1-1/2) times pay, the employee may claim an additional number of hours equal to their regularly scheduled shift from accrued PTO, to be paid at the employee's base wage.
a. The nurse will have a choice of either Christmas Eve (December 24) or Christmas Day (December 25) when one or both of these holidays are worked, but shall not be compensated at the time and one half rate for both days under this provision.
Pay for Work on Holidays. If the employee works on these days, they will be paid for the holiday plus time and one- half (1-1/2) for the hours worked on that day or paid straight time for the holiday and an additional day and one-half (1 1/2) be added to the vacation allowance for each holiday worked. The choice of which days shall, be at the discretion of the employer. When the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the preceding Friday or following Monday shall be considered the holiday. If work on a holiday is the choice of the employee, no extra pay or vacation time will accrue.
Pay for Work on Holidays. Nurses who are required to work on any of the 13 following actual holidays will be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular 14 straight-time hourly rate of pay for all hours actually worked on the actual holiday.
Pay for Work on Holidays. All employees who are entitled to holidays with pay as defined herein if required to work on such a day shall receive in addition to the regular pay double the regular hourly rate for all time worked on said holiday. All employees not entitled to holiday with pay if required to work on such a day shall be paid double (2X) time the regular hourly rate. The above notwithstanding, in the event major competitors are open for business on the General Holiday, the Co-operative shall pay time and one half (1 1/2X) for all hours worked on that day in addition to any holiday pay to which an employee may be entitled. The above paragraph concerning major competitors does not apply to Meat and Deli employees hired prior to May 10th, 2017.
Pay for Work on Holidays. Employees who are directed to work on a holiday, on a day which the employee is not scheduled to work shall receive, in addition to their regular compensation, compensatory time or cash payment at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's regular rate of pay for all hours worked (total compensation double time and one-half) Employees regularly scheduled to work on a holiday shall receive, in addition to their regular compensation, compensatory time or cash payment at the rate of one and one- half times the employee's regular rate of pay for all hours worked (total compensation double time and one-half).
