RATES OF PAY AND OVERTIME. 10.01 Employees shall be paid in accordance with schedule "A" which is attached to this Agreement and forms a part of it. 10.02 The Employer uses a direct deposit payroll system which will ensure the employee’s wages are paid directly into each employee’s personal account on the applicable Fridays on a biweekly basis. Payroll records will be available electronically. Employees will receive the necessary information to obtain those records upon hire and upon request. 10.03 The Employer may establish new classifications within the bargaining unit. If a new classification is established, the Employer shall advise the Union of the classification title and proposed wage rate prior to putting it into effect. If the Union requests within ten (10) days after notification, the Employer shall meet with the Union to discuss the appropriate rate. Such new classifications and wage rates will be subject to the grievance procedure.
RATES OF PAY AND OVERTIME. (a) An employee assigned to firefighting duties shall be paid his regular (posted) rate of pay or the appropriate rate for the work performed set out in Supplement #1, whichever is greater. (b) A regular employee required to work overtime on a firefighting assignment shall be paid the appropriate overtime rate as set out in Article VI, Section 1 of this Collective Agreement. (c) An employee classified as a Watershed Operator Level I required to work overtime on a firefighting assignment shall be paid at the overtime rate of time and one-half (1½) as set out in Supplement Letter of Understanding No. 5, clause 5 attached to this Collective Agreement.
RATES OF PAY AND OVERTIME. 9.1 Rates The rates of pay applicable at the commencement of this agreement are: Ordinary time $18.3000 per hour Overtime - first two hours (time and one half) $27.4500 per hour - double time $36.6000 per hour These rates are to be modified as per Clause 9.4. 9.2 The ordinary time rate represents an average rate of pay having regard to the classifications in the Award and all relevant allowances including travel allowances.

Such new classifications and wage rates will be subject to the grievance procedure. 10.04 Work in a different classification When an employee works in a different classification her rate of pay shall be calculated in accordance with the following: a) If the job is a higher rated classification, the employee shall receive the rate for the new position which allows for an increase to her current rate of at least twenty-five cents ($0.25) per hour. b) If the job is a lower rated classification, the employee will receive the rate closest to his or her current rate. c) If the job is in a same rated classification, the employee will retain his or her current rate.
RATES OF PAY AND OVERTIME. (JOURNEYMEN) 11.01 Classification of Work "A" (see sub-article 2.7 "Definitions"). Effective January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019: $30.05 per hour worked. 11.02 Classification of Work "B" (see sub-article 2.8 "Definitions"). Effective January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019: $28.70 per hour worked. 11.03 Classification of Work “C” (see sub-article 2.9 “Definitions”). Effective January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019: $26.75 per hour worked. 11.04 Foremen rate shall be Three Dollars ($3.00) per hour above applicable base Journeyman rate. 11.05 General Foremen rate shall be Four Dollars ($4.00) per hour above applicable base Journeyman rate. 11.06 Lead hand rate shall be fifty cents ($0.50) per hour above applicable base Journeyman rate. 11.07 Wages owing an Employee shall be paid on Thursday of each week on the job site not later than 2:30 p.m. The cheque or pay envelope shall show the gross, the net, all sources of income, i.e. regular hours, premiums, overtime, vacation pay, board, travel allowance, etc. and all deductions i.e. income tax, CPP, EI, dues, etc. for the pay period. If the pay cheque is not available on Thursday, the employee may be paid in cash on Friday, or by cheque. Wages may be paid by cheque or direct deposit at the sole discretion of the Employer and the chosen method of payment shall apply equally to all employees of the Employer. Cheques shall be negotiable at any chartered bank in New Brunswick without charge to the Employee. Where wages are paid by direct deposit pay stubs may be provided by e-mail except that an employee without access to e-mail may request a hard copy pay stub. Errors in the Employee's weekly pay cheque will be corrected on the next week's pay cheque, if the error is less than Thirty Dollars ($30.00). It will be corrected within one (1) working day when it is above that amount. 11.08 If the regular payday or the day after is a holiday the pay shall be one (1) day earlier. 11.09 Where employment is terminated by the Employer, except in cases of disciplinary termination, the employee shall be given at least two (2) hours notice, during which time the employee shall maintain his current work activity or return company equipment to stores, whichever is required by the Employer. The employee shall be paid his regular hourly rate during the two (2) hour period. 11.10 If payroll office is on site the above will be given immediately. 11.11 Where employment is terminated by the employee he shall give sixteen (16) working hours ...

  • Rate of Pay a. An Employee who is employed as a teacher teaching on call shall be paid 1/189 of his/her category classification and experience, to a maximum of the rate at Category 5 Step 7, for each full day worked. b.   • Delay of Payments Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement to the contrary, if Executive is considered a “specified employee” for purposes of Section 409A of the Code (as determined in accordance with the methodology established by the Company and its Affiliates as in effect on the Termination Date), any payment that constitutes nonqualified deferred compensation within the meaning of Section 409A of the Code that is otherwise due to Executive under this Agreement during the six-month period immediately following Executive’s separation from service (as determined in accordance with Section 409A of the Code) on account of Executive’s separation from service shall be accumulated and paid to Executive on the first business day of the seventh month following his separation from service (the “Delayed Payment Date”), to the extent necessary to prevent the imposition of tax penalties on Executive under Section 409A of the Code. If Executive dies during the postponement period, the amounts and entitlements delayed on account of Section 409A of the Code shall be paid to the personal representative of his estate on the first to occur of the Delayed Payment Date or 30 calendar days after the date of Executive’s death.

  • REIMBURSEMENT FOR MILEAGE AND INSURANCE 1. An employee who is required by their employer to use their private vehicle for school district related purposes shall receive reimbursement of: Effective July 1, 2019 $ 0.56 c/Km Effective July 1, 2020 $ 0.57 c/Km Effective July 1, 2021 $ 0.58 c/Km 2. The mileage reimbursement rate established in Article B.10.1 shall be increased by 5 cents/kilometer for travel that is approved and required on unpaved roads. 3. The employer shall reimburse an employee who is required to use their personal vehicle for school district purposes, the difference in premium costs between ICBC rate Class 002 (Pleasure to/from Work) and ICBC rate Class 007 (Business Class) where the employee is required to purchase additional insurance in order to comply with ICBC regulations respecting the use of one’s personal vehicle for business purposes.

  • Terms of Payment 16.1 The Supplier shall request for payment by submitting invoice(s), delivery note(s) and any other relevant documents as specified in the SCC to the Procuring Entity. 16.2 Payments shall be made promptly by the Procuring Entity, but not later than thirty (30) days after submission of an invoice by the Supplier, and after the Procuring Entity has accepted it.
