RECOGNITION & COVERAGE. 2:01 The University recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 3902, Unit #3, as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all persons in the employ of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto in the City of Toronto and the Region of Peel engaged in teaching, demonstrating, tutoring or marking/grading, save and except:
(1) persons employed as clinical lecturers in the Faculties of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry and Pharmacy;
(2) persons employed in the delivery of non-degree-credit courses including but not limited to continuing education courses;
(3) persons employed on Contractually Limited term Appointments (as defined in the University of Toronto Policy and Procedures on Academic Appointments, May 31, 2001);
(4) persons employed on contracts of one year or more;
(5) persons employed as athletic instructors or coaches;
(6) persons holding continuing academic appointments at the University of Toronto teaching on overload;
(7) retired faculty who, prior to their retirement, had an academic appointment at the University of Toronto;
(8) persons employed in the Institute of Child Study and the University of Toronto Schools;
(9) persons employed in the delivery of summer camp programmes;
(10) status only appointments;
(11) persons employed in the Faculties of Architecture, Engineering and Law who are licensed to practice their profession in the Province of Ontario where the assignment requires that they be so licensed;
(12) persons designated as Visiting Professors who hold primary appointment of a full-time, permanent academic nature at another University and are on leave from that University;
(13) persons engaged on an occasional basis by virtue of their particular special expertise to give an occasional or guest lecture or an occasional or guest seminar;
(14) persons who exercise managerial functions or who are employed in a confidential capacity in matters related to labour relations;
(15) persons for whom any other trade union held bargaining rights under the
RECOGNITION & COVERAGE. Section 1. This Local Supplement applies to all Air Force WGs and WLs at EAFB who are covered in Article 2 of the MLA.
Section 2. This Local Supplement is executed in conformance with Article 34 of the MLA. As such, it deals with subjects, which the Parties at the level of exclusive recognition have agreed are appropriate for local negotiation.
Section 3. This Local Supplement supersedes the 1997 CBA between the Parties, EAFB, CA. Unless otherwise stated herein, this Local Supplement does not supersede local MOAs between the Parties, including agreements resolving grievances and ULP charges unless in conflict with this Local Supplement. Either Party, however, reserves the right to seek to change or cancel such agreement(s) upon proper notice and opportunity to bargain.

(1) persons who exercise managerial functions or who are employed in a confidential capacity in matters related to labour relations;
(2) persons for whom any other trade union held bargaining rights under the
(3) Postdoctoral Fellows who apply for and are awarded funding from any source other than the University of Toronto including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR, or foundations such as the Mellon Foundation. Note 1: Postdoctoral Fellows who receive their stipends through a hospital are not included in the Bargaining Unit;

Note 1: Postdoctoral Fellows who receive their stipends through a hospital are not included in the Bargaining Unit;
RECOGNITION & COVERAGE. 2.1 Pursuant to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇‐Milias‐Brown Act of the State of California, and the Employer Relations Resolution of Employer (Resolution No. 92‐236), Employer has on January 14, 1993, formally recognized the Associations as the exclusively recognized employee organization representing employees in the unit of representation consisting of all Registered Nurses and Utilization Review Coordinators pursuant to an election conducted on December 18, 1992.
2.2 The Employer agrees that during the term of this agreement it will not challenge the bargaining unit status of any Registered Nurse or any job classification covered by this agreement.
RECOGNITION & COVERAGE. Section 1. Recognition The Organization hereby recognizes the Guild as the exclusive representative of all employees in the bargaining unit as described in Section 2 in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment and/or other conditions of employment.

Recognition This Bargaining Unit represented by the Guild and covered by this Agreement consists of all full-time and part-time JVP employees including all Associate, Coordinator, Senior Coordinators, and Manager level staff (including U.S. expatriate staff), but excluding Senior Managers and Director level staff, the Sr. Manager and the Executive Assistant, and all other confidential employees, guards, and supervisors as defined by the National Labor Relations Act.

The Board the Canadian Union of Public Employees as the exclusive bargaining agent for all employees engaged in maintenance services and plant operations , save and except caretaking and main- tenance supervisors and persons above the rank of caretaking and ma- intenance supervisors, office staff, persons regularly employed for less than twenty hours per week, and students employed during the school vacation period. Supervisory staff, including and above the level of caretaking and maintenance supervisors, shall not work on any jobs which are included in the bargaining unit, except for the purposes of instruction, experimenting, performing minor repairs, or in emergencies when regular employees are not available and provided that the act of performing the aforementioned operations in itself does not reduce the hours of work or pay of any employee.
RECOGNITION & COVERAGE. 101 The Employer hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative and bargaining agent of all Registered Nurses in the Certified Unit employed by the Employer, excluding statutory supervisors and managers who are licensed Registered Nurses. The Association recognizes the responsibility of representing the interests of all Registered Nurses in the Unit fairly and without discrimination in respect to grievances, personnel policies, practices and other matters affecting their employment and general working conditions. 102 The terms of this Agreement are applicable to all Registered Nurses in the Bargaining Unit regardless of grade or step or number of hours of work.
RECOGNITION & COVERAGE. This Agreement is made effective this April 1 2024 (the “Effective Date”), between the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota and the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota Foundation (collectively “the Employer”) and the Minnesota Newspaper & Communication Guild (“the Guild” or “the Union”), chartered by The NewsGuild-Communications Workers of America as Local 37002, for itself and on behalf of all the Covered Employees described in Article 2.
1. The Employer hereby recognizes the Guild as the sole and exclusive representative of all employees in the bargaining unit as described in Section 2 of this Article for the purpose of collective bargaining.
2. This Agreement covers all full-time and part-time non-supervisory staff who are now or who may hereafter be employed by the Employer, excepting employees in positions excluded by law, such as supervisors, managerial employees, interns, volunteers, confidential employees, temporary employees, independent contractors, and guards.
a. The Employer and the Guild agree that the positions, based on the existing job descriptions, in the bargaining unit include, but are not limited to:
i. Staff attorney;
ii. Paralegal;
iii. Organizer;
iv. Community engagement associate;
v. Greater Minnesota Racial Justice Project coordinator;
vi. Policy associate;
vii. Digital communications associate;
viii. Multimedia communications associate/storyteller;
ix. Communications associate;
x. Policy counsel;
xi. Volunteer manager;
xii. Finance manager;
xiii. Manager of philanthropic relations;
xiv. Executive assistant/Board liaison;
xv. Philanthropy specialist; and
xvi. Philanthropy assistant. Nothing in this provision shall be construed to require the Employer to maintain these positions at all times.
b. The Employer and the Guild agree that the following positions are excluded from the bargaining unit:
i. Executive Director;
ii. Chief Programs Officer;
iii. Finance Director;
iv. Operations Director; v. Legal Director;
