Scope of Work and Milestones. Include the Detailed Project Plan here (Scope of Work). The project plan must describe, in detail, the activities to be undertaken, including the proposed work, reporting, major tasks, and project milestones including the identification of the anticipated start and ending dates of all major stages/tasks of the project proposal. This section does not have to include the entire project proposal but needs to include enough detail and set forth estimated milestones for the activities to be conducted under the Agreement. The full project proposal, if necessary, can also be incorporated by attachment to the agreement. However, incorporation by attachment does not alleviate the requirement to provide the description of the scope of work in this section along with the major project milestones.

Scope of Work and Milestones. The NCWD is requesting assistance to conduct an appraisal of the quantity and quality of existing water resource supplies in the County and surrounding areas populated with small communities and Tribes, which is essential to support planning efforts for community and economic development, identify existing and projected demands, and determine the infrastructure required to continue to serve existing and projected, uncontrolled population growths in the area, neighboring Counties and communities, and plan management strategies that can be implemented to ensure the availability of an adequately clean water supply, bring water systems in compliance with acceptable drinking water supply standards, and identify back-up sources of drinking water. Small rural communities and surrounding Counties are dispersed throughout the geographic area and lack advanced infrastructure due to their isolation. Potential impacts of large industrial developments, mining operations, underground storage tanks, landfills, methamphetamine laboratories, gas stations, dairy farms, refineries, and manufacturing facilities present the possibility of water supply contamination. Soil contamination resulting from petroleum, heavy metals, and animal waste releases at these sites and the potential transfer of preventable contamination to the groundwater that serves as the County‘s drinking water supply is of major concern. The NCWD will work cooperatively with the Xxx County Administration and Nuclear Waste Repository Project Office (NWRPO) to coordinate and oversee the Project. Personnel assigned to the Project are: Xxxxxxx Xxxx, Acting General Manager of the NCWD and Director of NWRPO; Xxxx Xxxxxx, Geoscience Manager and Acting Natural Resources Manager, NWRPO; and Xxx Xxxxxxx, Grants Administrator, Xxx County Administration. Xxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxx Xxxx and Xxx Xxxxxxx will prepare request for proposals for a Hydrology Consultant and select an appropriate contractor through a competitive bidding process to complete the appraisal investigation and report. Xxxx Xxxxxx will coordinate Reclamation and with selected contractor to review the contractor‘s data and document summaries and throughout preparation of the report, and will review the draft and final reports, participate in stakeholder meetings, coordinate with selected contractor throughout the preparation of the report and will review the draft and final reports; Xxxxxxx Xxxx will oversee activities and report progress to the NCWD Governi...
Scope of Work and Milestones. ‌ Under this Agreement, the Recipient’s project team (Project Team) shall conduct research to identify better surrogates for online monitoring of virus rejection (Project). The Project will aim to identify surrogates that can be measured with practical online monitors, or by collecting frequent grab samples to mimic online monitoring, to enable continuous monitoring of reverse osmosis (RO) performance for reuse scenarios where demonstrating pathogen log removal is critical to public health. The Project will be accomplished in two parts. Part 1 of the Project will take place at the Orange County Water District (OCWD) Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) and will test novel surrogates for 3-6 months at a full-scale reuse facility to assess their feasibility to replace traditional surrogates. Part 2 will take place at the Padre Dam Municipal Water District (Padre Dam) Advanced Water Purification (AWP) demonstration facility with a closed-circuit reverse osmosis (CCRO) pilot unit to identify a membrane integrity surrogate that allows pathogen removal crediting greater than 2 logs.

Scope of Work and Milestones. ‌ The full technical approach and scope of work from the proposal, Lake Thunderbird Water Reuse - Field Research Project for Inland Indirect Potable Reuse, submitted in response to Funding Opportunity Announcement BOR-DO-19- F009, Water Reclamation and Reuse Research under the TXVI Program for Fiscal Year 2019, is incorporated herein by reference. It includes the detailed technical approach, assumptions, key personnel, and other details regarding the Project. The project includes a critical, 30-month field research study to evaluate advanced treatment processes against anticipated effluent water quality limits for IPR via reservoir augmentation in accordance with the requirements for IPR in Oklahoma. The field research will also determine the physical viability of advanced treatment processes for an inland IPR application, without the use of high-pressure membranes (nanofiltration (NF) or reverse osmosis (RO)). The results from this study could impact future potable reuse projects across the country by validating a treatment strategy that does not generate a high-concentrate brine and eliminates challenges associated with its disposal. The pilot project in further detail will consist of utilizing 2 of the 6 aeration basins and 2 of the 6 secondary clarifiers to establish two parallel treatment trains. One batch train will flow no larger than 200,000 gpd and the other steady state train will flow up to 1 MGD. Effluent from the secondary clarifiers will be directed to rented equipment that will provide tertiary and advanced water treatment to meet OK’s IPR regulatory requirements. These devices will be rented from manufacturers to demonstrate reliable performance capabilities and provide robust operations and maintenance data. Staff will assist the consultant in operating and maintaining the unit during the approximate 30-month project. Task 1: Federal Grant Assistance December 2020 Task 2: Feasibility Study Report July 2021 Task 3: Pilot Protocol March 2021 Task 4: IPR Pilot Design December 2020 Task 5: Pilot Installation October 2021 Task 6: Operations and Sampling Report June 2022 Task 7: Pilot Reporting March 2023 Task 8: Outreach and Stakeholder Coordination September 2023 6.
