Students Rights and Responsibilities a. Each student will be provided with a Student Agreement in accordance with a template drawn up by the Consortium, which will list the rights and responsibilities of students with respect to the academic component of the joint Degree Programme, as well as any administrative requirements and services available. The Student Agreement will be signed by the student and the Joint Programme Coordinator of the Degree Programme, representing the Consortium.
b. Without prejudice to the Consortium Agreement, the Student Agreement, the Study, Teaching and Examination Regulations and any Management Committee agreements, students will be entitled to the same rights and privileges and subject to the same duties and responsibilities expressed in the Partner Institution's own regulations and procedures (including any disciplinary regulations) for elements of the Degree Programme delivered by that Partner Institution. It is recognised that variations in the general regulations of Partner Institutions are acceptable.
c. The contribution to the participation costs will be charged directly by the consortium to the individual student scholarship. The amount of participation costs charged to the scholarship holder will be clearly specified in the Student Agreement which is to be signed between the student and the consortium. Participation costs will be paid directly by the Coordinating Institution to the hosting universities in accordance with the consortium’s financial agreement.
a. The costs for travel, room and board are the responsibility of each student and will be paid from the student's own funds. This also applies if these funds consist of an EMJMD scholarship provided to the student for participation in the Degree Programme. Partner Institutions will oblige their students to keep, and maintain in full effect, health insurance with such coverage as the Partner Institution may deem fit, in the context of applicable law and, in the case of EMJMD scholarship holders in accordance with EACEA requirements.
b. While at the Partner Institution, the local policies for the resolution of complaints and appeals will apply. As a general rule, these need to be exhausted before Consortium procedures can be relied upon. Cases of plagiarism and fraud will be dealt with according to the regulations of the Partner Institution.

2. Exchange students shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the Host University. The Host University has the right to terminate the exchange period of exchange students who perform substantially below the standard set by the regulations of the Host University.
3. All travel costs, visa expenses and other expenses relating to the exchange, housing arrangements and living expenses shall be the individual responsibility of the exchange student. The student shall also be responsible for study material expenses, such as the cost of textbooks, field trips (if any) and other optional course charges.
4. The parties shall inform incoming students about appropriate health, accident, third party liability, travel and, if applicable, personal liability insurance cover as required by the Host University or the host country. Any medical expenses that exceed the cover provided by such insurance shall be borne by the exchange student.
5. Students from non-EU countries are required to apply for a student visa and be in possession of a visa at the time of entering the Czech Republic. All students coming with a visa are required to purchase a health travel insurance plan which complies with Czech Republic visa requirements. The Board of Education believes that students have rights that should be recognized and respected and that it has the responsibility to afford students the rights that are theirs by virtue of guarantees afforded them under the federal and state constitutions. Students Rights and Responsibilities. A. Students successfully completing the requirements of the JAA will be guaranteed admission to RIC or URI, as appropriate. JAA students will have the same rights and responsibilities regarding access to specific programs, majors, and services as continuing students at the senior institution. Senior institutions publish requirements (which pertain equally to continuing and transfer students) relating to grades that must be earned or prerequisite courses required for entry into specific majors. In addition to using these publications, students are responsible for seeking regular, ongoing advisement from the sending and receiving institutions.
X. XXX students, after having earned an A.A. degree at CCRI in one of the transfer tracks agreed to by the sending and receiving institutions, are guaranteed that a minimum of 32 credits will transfer to fulfill general education requirements at the receiving institution. Additional credits, in combination with the 32 general education credits, will total at least 60 transfer credits applicable to degree requirements at the senior institution in a specified program. To guarantee transfer of at least 60 credits, JAA students must remain enrolled in a specified transfer-track program and must seek regular, ongoing advisement from the sending and receiving institutions.
C. Each semester, URI and RIC will notify JAA students of deadlines by which students must indicate their plans to enroll at the senior institution in order to maintain eligibility for pre-registration and other enrollment guarantees. Students who pay an enrollment deposit at the senior institution by the specified date will be given the same registration priority as continuing students.

Masaryk University students enrolled at The University of Mississippi under the international exchange agreement between Masaryk University and The University of Mississippi, whose health is insured by an insurance provider which is endorsed by Masaryk University whose coverage meets or exceeds the J-1 insurance requirements of the Exchange Visitor Program by the U.S. Department of State, will be waived from The University of Mississippi's mandatory health insurance coverage for international students, upon notification by the Office of International Affairs at Masaryk University to the Study Abroad Office at The University of Mississippi no later than 30 days prior to the exchange student's intended enrolment.

Both parties shall inform incoming students about appropriate health, accident, third party liability, travel and, if applicable, personal liability insurance cover as required by the Host University or the host country and exchange students are solely responsible for the purchase of such insurance. Any medical expenses that exceed the cover provided by such insurance shall be borne by the exchange student. Exchange students from Masaryk University to DU are required to join the National Health Insurance instituted by the government of Japan.
