Teachers’ Schedules. Prior to the closing of school in June, teachers will be notified in writing of their tentative programs for the coming school year, including the school to which they will be assigned and the grades and/or subjects they will teach. The ASSOCIATION recognizes that revisions of teachers’ assignments may be necessary at a later date. In such cases, teachers will be notified as soon as possible. All regular classroom music, art, librarians, and physical education teachers at Claypit Hill, Happy Hollow, and Xxxxx Schools will be given copies of their daily schedules no later than August 15 provided, however, that the Principal may thereafter make such changes as the Principal deems necessary without being subject to the grievance and arbitration procedure.
Teachers’ Schedules. Schedules of special area teachers and teachers within building grade levels in the District shall be organized to establish equality in scheduling and class loads, whenever possible.

3. Special education teachers may utilize one early release Wednesday per month to perform state- and federally-mandated requirements. In addition, a special education teacher may request up to two professional days per semester to perform such requirements. The scheduling of such days will be coordinated and approved by the Principal. In addition, a joint study committee shall review and analyze the long-term changes necessary to effectively deliver special education services in light of state- and federally-mandated requirements.
4. Secondary school teachers will, in addition to a duty-free lunch period, have one unassigned period each day during which they will not be assigned to any other duties and will not have more than five (5) student supervision periods per week. The homeroom period is not considered a student supervision period. A reasonable effort will be made to provide adequate time for team meetings or tutorials in the High School. Middle School teachers will not be assigned to more than four (4) regular student supervision periods per week. Middle School teachers, including Curriculum Leaders and House Leaders, will not be assigned to more than two student help sessions per week. Teachers’ Schedules. 1. The Committee recognizes that it is desirable for teachers to know as early as possible their schedules for the coming year.
2. The Alliance recognizes that practical difficulties sometimes force changes in a teacher’s schedule. The Committee agrees that tentative teacher schedules will be given to teachers no later than June 1st. Elementary classroom teachers, excluding pre-school and kindergarten teachers, shall be provided tentative class lists by August 15th at the latest. If such practical scheduling difficulties necessitate a change in any teacher’s schedule after the opening of the first day of school for teachers, the Alliance President will be consulted concerning the implementation of said schedule change.
3. If changes occur during the summer vacation which require a change in a teacher’s schedule, the principal, supervisor or Department Chairperson, Department Head, Program Coordinator or Grade Leader shall provide notification to the teacher as close to August 1st as possible.

Teachers’ Schedules. Teachers shall be notified in writing by June 1 of each school year of their tentative assignments commencing September 1 of the next school year. Such assignments are subject to change, but the affected teacher will be given an opportunity to meet with the Building Principal before any change is finalized. At the teacher’s option, prior to finalization but after the meeting with the Principal, the teacher may meet with the Superintendent.
Teachers’ Schedules. (a) The School and the Association shall each appoint two members to the School’s Schedule and Workload Committee, which shall meet bi-weekly beginning in March of each year.
(b) The School will provide Teachers with their provisional teaching schedules for the next School Year prior to the end of classes.
