Temporary/Seasonal. Temporary or seasonal employees are those employees who are appointed for a job of limited duration not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) working days. It is understood that use of this type of employment is for short-term needs of the District. Such employees are not eligible for any District funded benefits and the employee or the District can terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advanced notice.

Temporary/Seasonal. Staff 3.1 Hours of Work The hours of work for Senior Beach Inspectors, Beach Inspectors and Communication Officer shall be as established in the roster schedules which are marked as attachments "4.1" -Beach Season, "4.2" -Surf Life Saving Association hours to this Agreement and "4.3" -Model Roster. These attachments are subject to change to meet operational requirements and will be updated each season to form part of this agreement. All staff members will receive a copy of these attachments upon appointment. Hours vary over the beach season however generally fall between 9am to 6pm 7 days per week. Work outside the hours established by this Agreement shall be paid consistent with the provisions of Clause 3.4 Working Outside Rostered Hours of this Agreement. 3.2 Rates of Pay The rates of pay for positions listed in the table below shall be awarded in lieu of the penalties which would previously have been attracted by work on weekends and by working the hours to cover the roster as established in Clause 3.1 - Hours of Work. The rates include all purpose allowances and penalties, which apply to Beach Service staff. Calculations for the rates shown are detailed in Attachment "4.4" to this Agreement, Salary Points/Penalty Calculations. For existing staff your Performance appraisal will determine, for any subsequent employment, your placement at the appropriate level within your band. The following table will be used to link the employees performance appraisals score to the relevant pay rate. Temporary/Seasonal. An employee who works various hours as needed or during specific periods of time or times of the year in the conduct of the City’s operations. These employees are not eligible for benefits. The City will not use this category of employee to eliminate full-time positions. • Job Sharing - A situation where two individuals share the duties of one full-time regular position. The conditions under which a position may be shared are: • One individual is scheduled to work a minimum of 25 hours per work week (Regular part-time); • The second individual must be scheduled so that the annual average of hours worked does not equal or exceed 25 hours per week (Irregular part-time); • Both individuals must have the education, training and experience required by the position; • The employees will fill-in for each other when either is absent because of a disability or when either position is vacant; • Management has the unilateral right to discontinue job sharing arrangements at any time. Notification of this discontinuance will be in writing by registered mail or by personal presentation to both employees. Registered mail will be sent to the employees’ home address on record with the City of Kentwood’s Personnel Office. Within fourteen (14) calendar days of either presentation of the notice or the date postmarked on the registered mail, as appropriate, the regular part-time employee must decide whether to return to work full-time or resign. Failure to notify the City of a decision within the aforementioned period will constitute resignation.

Upon surrender for cancellation of any one or more temporary Securities of any series, the Company shall execute and the Trustee shall authenticate and deliver in exchange therefor one or more definitive Securities of the same series, of any authorized denominations and of like tenor and aggregate principal amount. Until so exchanged, the temporary Securities of any series shall in all respects be entitled to the same benefits under this Indenture as definitive Securities of such series and tenor.
