Uniforms and Work Clothes. Employees required to wear uniforms shall be supplied them by the Employer free of charge. Necessary valet or laundry service for such uniform shall also be supplied by the Employer. Where there has been an established practice to supply employees with suitable clothes or uniforms, this practice will be continued.
Uniforms and Work Clothes. (a) The Employer shall furnish and pay for uniform equipment for employees as required. The style, type and quantity of specific items shall be determined by the Employer. Such uniforms shall remain the property of the Employer. All uniform items, including shirts, shall be replaced on a one for one exchange basis only when deemed appropriate by management. The Employer shall direct the appropriate code of uniform dress including when hats and ties shall be worn. Items of uniform equipment must be returned to the Employer upon termination of employment.

Annual Allowance for PSEs On an annual basis, Postal Support Employees who are assigned as PSE Sales/Service & DistributionAssociates, D/A 81-4, who have met the criteria listed below, will be eligible to purchase three (3) Type 2 shirts worn by employees assigned to retail operations, with an allowance of up to $42 per shirt:

In its sole discretion, the County shall determine which classifications shall wear uniforms as a condition of employment. The parties acknowledge that County uniforms are not suitable for everyday wear outside working hours, and employees shall wear the uniforms only while on duty and traveling to and from County work. County departments will replace, when necessary, the existing uniforms with uniforms having a cotton/polyester fabric. The County will provide two (2) jackets to each employee in the bargaining unit. Jackets may be laundered, repaired or replaced, as needed by the County. Machinist aprons for mechanics who work on the machinery in the Water Agency Operations Center will be provided.
