Recognition of the AssociationThe County recognizes the Government Supervisors Association of Florida, OPEIU, Local 100, ("Association") which has been certified, by the Florida Public Employee Relations Commission, Certification Number 1289, as the sole and exclusive representative of the employees within the Bargaining Unit, as described pursuant to PERC Case No. EL-2000- 013, and as amended by mutual agreement of the parties for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours of employment, and other terms and conditions of employment. References to “Professionals” in this Agreement will include all Bargaining Unit members.

Recognition of the AssociationThe Board recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the members of the bargaining unit as defined by Certificate Number 1594-79-R of the Ontario Labour Relations Board dated December 18, 1979, and as amended on June 6, 1980. The Association shall have the right at any time to call upon the assistance of representatives of the Canadian Association of University Teachers (C.A.U.T.) and the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (O.C.U.F.A.), when dealing with or negotiating with the University. Such representatives and any other duly designated representatives shall have access to the University premises at all reasonable times to consult with members, Association officers, or University officials. When such representatives deal directly with the University officials, the extent of their authority shall be clearly defined and communicated to the University officials by the Association.
Recognition of the Association. 2.1 The Governors recognize The Faculty Association of the University of Calgary (the Association) as having the exclusive authority, on behalf of the academic staff members, to negotiate and enter into an Agreement as provided for in the Post- Secondary Learning Act and Alberta Labour Relations Code.
Recognition of the Association. The Xxxxxx Technology and Career Development Schools Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as the “Board,” hereby recognizes the Xxxxxx Education Association OEA/NEA, hereinafter referred to as the “Association,” as the exclusive collective bargaining representative for all employees of the Xxxxxx Technology and Career Development Schools, except those expressly excluded hereafter. Excluded from the bargaining unit are all employees identified as administrators by virtue of their responsibility to evaluate and make employment recommendations for the hiring and firing of employees under their supervision; all employees who work in the Educational Resource Center; all employees who have access to sensitive, confidential information and who report to the Superintendent/Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officers, Executive Directors, and Directors; data processing consortium employees; all adult education staff; all casual substitutes (employees not employed in the same position for sixty (60) consecutive days); and all seasonal and casual employees. Adult Education employees in these positions as of July 1, 2019 may remain in the collective bargaining unit as members of the Association. Should these Adult Education employees choose to no longer remain in the Association, the employee may not then reenroll as a member of the Association. Adult Education employees hired after July 1, 2019 shall not be eligible to be in the bargaining unit or enroll as a member of the Association.
Recognition of the Association. The District recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining representative for the purpose of collective bargaining regarding matters relating to salaries, hours of employment and other terms and conditions of employment for the following bargaining unit: “Including all full-time and regular part-time classroom teachers, counselors and librarians who are employed by the School District of Springfield, R-12 (“District”) and who are .5 FTE or greater on the District’s Teacher Salary Schedule and who are required by the District to be certified; but excluding all District Administrators, Managers, Supervisors and all other District employees.”
Recognition of the Association. 1. 0201 The Board recognizes the Oak Hills Education Association, as affiliated with the Ohio Education Association and the National Education Association, hereinafter referred to as the "Association", as the sole and exclusive representative for all licensed employees who are under contract to teach full-time during the school year including department chairpersons and all regularly-employed part-time teachers and nurses, excluding substitute teachers, tutors, aides and classified personnel, all other administrative staff and/or supervisory employees who have the administrative authority to employ, evaluate, transfer, assign, discipline or discharge teachers of the bargaining unit or have the responsibility to make recommendations thereon. 1. 0202 The above comprises the bargaining unit in conjunction with Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 4117.
Recognition of the AssociationThe City recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for those employees of the City referred to in the certificate of the Manitoba Labour Board referred to in the introduction hereto, and as well, such further and other class or classes of employees as may be agreed upon by the parties during the currency of this Agreement, or any extension thereof.

Recognition of the Association. 1.1 The Board recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative for the members of the bargaining unit (hereinafter referred to as "member"), which shall consist of full-time and regular part-time members employed by the Board under a regular teaching contract and those members who are employed by the Board to fill a vacancy caused by another member who is to be on a leave of absence for one hundred-twenty (120) or more contractual days in a given school year. Regular part-time members are those who are contracted to work on a regularly scheduled basis. Intern School Psychologists also shall be included in the bargaining unit. 1.2 Employees excluded from the bargaining unit include: Superintendent; Director of Academic Achievement and Professional Development; Coordinator of Academic Achievement and Professional Development; Assistant Superintendent; Executive Director of Administrative Services; Treasurer/CFO; Assistant Treasurer; Compensation Supervisor; Director of Special Education; Coordinator of Special Education; Director of Human Resources; Director of Pupil Services; Director of Communication Services; Coordinator of Gifted Programs; Director of Information Technology Services; Coordinator of Language Arts; Director of Facility Management Services; Director of Innovation and Support; Athletic Director(s); Supervisor of Transportation; Supervisor of Food Services; Principals; Assistant Principals; Teacher-Directors who have evaluation responsibilities and any other confidential, supervisory, or management level/administrative employees as defined in Section 4117.01 of the Ohio Revised Code. All other full-time and regular part-time certificated employees shall be included in the bargaining unit. 1.3 Recognition of the Association as the exclusive representative of members of the above defined bargaining unit shall be for the term of this written Contract without challenge as provided for in Section 4117.04(A) and 4117.05(B) of the Ohio Revised Code and will continue thereafter until a challenge is legally successful as provided for, and in strict compliance with, provisions of Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Recognition of the Association. 1.1 The Employer recognizes the Association as the sole representative and collective bargaining agent for Police Officers whether permanent, part-time, temporary or casual and herein agrees to negotiate with the Association or any of its authorized Committees. 1.2 Special Police Constables are included in this Collective Agreement and shall be awarded the same privileges as Police Officers as covered under this Agreement. 1.3 The Employer agrees that there shall be no discrimination by reason of race, creed, colour, national origin, political or religious affiliation, sex, family relationship, place of residence, with respect to any employee in the matters of hiring, wage rates, training, up-grading, promotion, transfer, layoff, recall, discipline, classification, dismissal or otherwise. 1.4 Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to preclude the Employer from giving priority to Saint Lucians in the employment of workers.
Recognition of the Association. The Board recognizes the MEA/MESPA/GPEPA as the bargaining representative for all full time instructional paraprofessionals, library media paraprofessionals, high school hall monitors and high school parking lot attendants including those in the above classifications who are regularly scheduled to work three (3) or more hours per day, but excluding supervisors and all other employees. If an employee’s hours are involuntarily reduced by the Board to less than 3 hours per day, they shall remain members of the Association.
