01- Recognition. The Board Of Education of The Maumee City School District, hereinafter referred to as the “Employer”, recognizes the Ohio Association of Public School Employees/American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local #240, hereinafter referred to as the “Union,” as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all full time and regular part-time employees in the following positions or classifications: Buildings and grounds personnel Classroom assistants/monitors personnel Clerical personnel Food service personnel Technology personnel Transportation personnel Personnel excluded include the following: Substitute employees -- temporary employee(s) working in replacement of an absent regular employee(s). Casual employees -- personnel hired at various times throughout the year for specific tasks and whose employment will not exceed thirty (30) days. 4117.01(c)(13). Seasonal employees -- personnel who work a certain regular season or period of the year performing some work or activity limited to that season or period and whose employment does not exceed fourteen (14) weeks. 4117.01(c)(13). 01- Recognition. The County of Milwaukee agrees to recognize and herewith does recognize the Wisconsin Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals, Local 5000, AFT, AFL-CIO, as the exclusive collective bargaining agent on behalf of bargaining unit classifications, in accordance with the certification of the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission as amended, made pursuant to Subchapter IV, Chapter 111.70, Wisconsin Statutes.

Such recognition, which may be achieved through harmonization or otherwise, may be based upon an agreement or arrangement with the other Party or a non-Party concerned or may be accorded autonomously. 2. A Party that is a party to an agreement or arrangement of the type referred to in paragraph 1, whether existing or future, shall afford adequate opportunity for the other Party, if the other Party is interested, to negotiate its accession to such an agreement or arrangement or to negotiate comparable ones with it. Where a Party accords recognition autonomously, it shall afford adequate opportunity for the other Party to demonstrate that education, experience, licences or certifications obtained or requirements met in that other Party's territory should be recognized. 3. A Party shall not accord recognition in a manner which would constitute a means of discrimination between countries in the application of its standards or criteria for the authorization, licensing or certification of services suppliers, or a disguised restriction on trade in services. 4. Each Party should encourage the relevant bodies in its respective territory to conduct future negotiations for developing mutually acceptable standards and criteria for licensing, temporary licensing and certification of professional services suppliers.

  • PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations between the Employer and the Union. It provides means for the settlement of grievances and for the final settlement of disputes. Salaries, hours of work and other conditions of employment are established by mutual agreement. It is recognized that nurses wish to work co-operatively with the Employer to provide the best possible community health services.

  • RECOGNITION OF UNION Clause 2.01 The Employer hereby recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agency for all employees of Greater Sudbury Hydro Plus Incorporated in respect of hours of work, wages and working conditions save and except non-union supervisors, persons above the rank of non-union supervisor, and staff employed in a confidential capacity in matters relating to Labour Relations. Clause 2.07 The Employer shall, for direct collective bargaining prior to Conciliation, pay the normal wages and benefits for maximum of three (3) employees who are members of the Union Negotiating Committee for a total of one hundred and twenty (120) hours and thereafter pay fifty percent (50%) of normal wages and full benefits.
