Accumulation and Use. Full-time employees shall accumulate and may use sick leave at the following rates:

Accumulation and Use a. Personnel shall accumulate sick leave at the rate of 15.75 hours per month, and sick leave shall be deducted on a one-quarter hour basis.
Accumulation and Use. Subject to Article 14 herein, employees shall be granted sick leave with pay of eighteen (18) working days per year, with no restriction as to the number of days that may be accumulated; however, only one hundred sixty days (160) will be allowed to be used in any one calendar year for illness or other purpose stipulated in this Agreement.
Accumulation and Use. 1. Full-time employees shall accumulate and may use sick leave at the following rates: a Shift personnel shall accumulate sick leave at the rate of 288 hours per calendar year (24 hours per month).
Accumulation and Use. An employee in the service of the City 4 shall accumulate sick leave at the rate of 4.6 hours for every eighty (80) hours in pay 5 status. Sick leave shall be charged in multiples of one-half (1/2) hour. No employee shall 6 be required to bring a doctor's statement prior to the third (3rd) day of illness unless there 7 is evidence of abuse of sick leave.
Accumulation and Use. Paid sick leave shall be accumulated by all employees covered by this agreement at the rate of 3.23 hours of paid sick leave for each pay period that said employee is actually on the Employer's payroll, being paid from general funds. No probationary employee shall be permitted to use paid sick leave until after he is placed on the seniority list. Such days shall be accumulated to a maximum of six hundred thirty (630) hours. It is provided that in addition to the use of accumulated paid sick leave days for an employee's own sickness, employees shall be allowed to use up to a maximum of thirty-five (35) hours paid sick leave each contract year out of those paid sick leave days already earned and accumulated for the purpose of sickness occurring in the employee's immediate family. Immediate family for this purpose under this section of the agre~ment is defined as meaning; the employee's mother, father, spouse, child or member of th~ employee's immediate household living with the employee. .' . Employees must report the need for sick leave to their supervisors as soon as possible and the County may require a doctor's certification from any employee who is absent more than one day due to sickness, as a condition of payment.
Accumulation and Use. Sick leave shall accrue at the rate of twelve (12) hours per month for employees on a 56-hour workweek, if the employee works the major portion of the month, or eight (8) hours per month for employees on a 40-hour workweek and use shall be in accordance with Monterey City Code Section 25-12.02 and Monterey Fire Department Policy “Time Off Use” attached as Exhibit “E.”
Accumulation and Use. A. Full-time employees shall earn sick leave at the rate of one-hundred thirty five (135) hours per year. Employees may accumulate their unused sick leave for future absences due to sickness or injury up to a maximum accumulation of 1,920 hours if hired as a full-time employee prior to January 1, 2016. The maximum accumulation for employees hired full-time after January 1, 2016 shall be 1,456 hours.
Accumulation and Use. 1. Unit members shall have their earned vacation for the fiscal year credited to their account each July 1. Employees must take a minimum of ten (10) days of vacation per year. Employees hired after July 1 must use their full prorated vacation during the year. Employees who have a vacation balance exceeding ten (10) days, may receive approval to substitute for themselves at their current rate of pay. Request to substitute for self must be submitted to the ECE Director, or designee, in writing on or before July 15th for the current fiscal year. Requests shall be approved in date order received. Requests will not be approved if there is any negative instructional impact on the program.
