APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND.
A. Each Employer covered by this Agreement shall make contributions to xxx Xxxxxxxxxx and Joiners Apprentice and Journeyman Training Fund (hereinafter called "Apprentice Training Fund") for each hour worked (whether straight-time or overtime) for which wages or compensation is payable to an employee.
B. All of the payments required to be made pursuant to Section A shall be made in a single payment in a check made payable to "Carpenters and Joiners Apprentice and Journeyman Training Fund", separate from the Health Fund check, at the same time and place where Health Fund payments are made. However, the payments for the Apprentice Training Fund shall be reported separately on the same remittance report as the payments to the Health Fund.
C. The payments received by the Fund pursuant to this Article shall be used by the Trustees for the purposes of training apprentices and journeymen in the xxxxxxxxx craft and related occupations and such other purposes as provided for in the Fund Trust Agreement.
D. Payments to the Apprentice Training Fund are to be made no later than the last day of the following month in which the work was performed, after which time the payments will be considered to be delinquent. In the event an Employer becomes delinquent in his payments to the Fund, and in view of the fact that the anticipated and actual damages are difficult or incapable of accurate ascertainment in such event, such Employer may be assessed, by the Trustees, as liquidated damages, twenty percent (20%) of such delinquent payments and further such delinquent Employer shall be required to pay interest at the maximum rate permitted by law, not to exceed one and one-half percent (1-1/2%) per month, on the unpaid and delinquent balance (including unpaid past due liquidated damages, if any) owed. In the event that the Fund's Administrative Manager refers the delinquency to legal counsel for collection, then such Employer shall be obligated to pay, in addition to such liquidated damages and interest charges, reasonable attorneys' fees and any other costs and expenses reasonably arising in connection with any collection action. If the employees are removed from the job by the Union to enforce such payments and penalties, the employees shall be paid by the delinquent Employer for all lost time at the straight-time hourly wage rate.

APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. The Employer and Union acknowledge the Apprenticeship and Training Fund for the benefit of members of the Union, and others, which Fund is called "Carpenters' Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund", as the same is constituted by a Declaration of Trust and Agreement in writing dated October 1, 1972.
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. The Employer shall contribute to xxx Xxxxxxxxxx' Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund at the rate established in the respective wage schedule per hour for each hour of work performed by each of its Employees covered by this Agreement. Such contributions shall be remitted to such place or places as designated by the Trustees of said Fund and be made by the 15th of the month following the month for which such contributions are payable.
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. A. Each Employer covered by this Agreement shall make contributions to xxx Xxxxxxxxxx and Joiners Apprenticeship and Journeyman Training Trust Fund (Hereinafter called "Apprentice Training Fund") for each hour worked (whether straight-time or overtime) for which wages or compensation is payable to an employee.
B. All of the payments required to be made pursuant to Article 9 (A) shall be made in a single payment in a check made payable to "Carpenters and Joiners Apprenticeship and Journeyman Training Trust Fund," separate from the Health Fund check, at the same time and place where Health Fund Payments are made. However, the payments for the Apprentice Training Fund shall be reported separately on the same remittance report as the payments to the Milwaukee Carpenters' District Council Health Fund or such other health fund if applicable in the event of a merger as contemplated by Article 7.
C. The Payments received by the Fund pursuant to this Article shall be dedicated to the Northern Region and used by the Trustees for the purposes of training apprentices and journeypersons in the xxxxxxxxx craft and related occupations and such other purposes as provided for in the Fund Trust Agreement.
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. 26.1 The Painters District Council 58 Apprenticeship and Training Fund is a fund jointly administered by labor and management. For every hour that an Employee receives pay the Employer will contribute the amount specified in the appropriate addendum. However, upon receipt of notice, in writing, to the Employers from the Union, the Employer shall contribute an amount, as designated in such notice, to the Training Funds in lieu of wages and shall be effective the first (1st) day of the calendar month following notification.
26.2 Of the hourly amount contributed by the Employer to the Apprenticeship and Training Fund, a contribution will be paid by the Employer to the Apprenticeship & Training Fund (refer to appropriate addendum for contribution rate) and will be remitted to the I.U.P.A.T. Finishing Trades Institute.
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. With respect to work performed on and after June 1, 2019, the Employer shall contribute the sum of $0.58 for each hour worked by an employee covered by this Working Agreement to the Chicago Roofers’ Apprenticeship and Training Fund. Any additional contributions shall be in accordance with Article VI, Section 1 of this Agreement.
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. 1. On all contracts let by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the Contractor shall contribute to the Wisconsin Laborers’ Fringe Benefit Funds, Lockbox 978844, X.X. Xxx 0000, Xxxxx Xxxxxx XX 00000-0000, $.28 per hour for all hours worked anywhere in the State of Wisconsin for each Laborer employed by the Contractor in the job classification listed in ARTICLE XI of this agreement.
2. Payments made to the Fund are to be made at the end of each month, but not later than the 15th day of the following month, after which the payments will be considered delinquent. In the event that an employer becomes delinquent in his payments to the Fund, he shall be assessed as liquidated damages per trust document.
3. If the employees are removed from the job by the Union to enforce such delinquent payments including liquidated damages, the employees shall be paid by the delinquent employer for all lost time at the straight-time hourly rate. Thirty
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. (a) An appropriate per hour sum set by mutual agreement will be paid to the Apprenticeship Trust and administrated by Plasterers Local #82.
(b) These said funds will be spent solely for the maintenance of the trust legally, and the items necessary for the training of Apprentice Plasterers.
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. The Employer shall contribute to xxx Xxxxxxxxxx' Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund at the rate established in the respective wage schedule per hour for each hour of work performed by each of its Employees covered by this Agreement. Such contributions shall be remitted to such place or places as designated by the Trustees of said Fund and be made by the 15th of the month following the month for which such contributions are payable. These rates can be used where an Employer has obtained an annual contract to provide scaffolding services at an operating plant. The rates do not apply to work of shutdown and/or turnaround nature, or where a Project Maintenance Agreement is in force.
APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING FUND. 16.01 Effective June 23, 1997, each Employer shall remit an amount cited in the current ICI Ontario Xxxxxxx Collective Agreement to a fund known as the "Apprenticeship and Training Fund".
16.02 If in the future Federal or Provincial Apprenticeship Training Funds are curtailed, both parties agree to renegotiate any required joint funding to maintain the apprenticeship training.
16.03 Effective June 23, 1997, each Employer shall remit an amount cited in the current ICI Ontario Xxxxxxx Collective Agreement to a fund known as the "Finishing Trades Institute Fund”.
16.04 Apprenticeship and Training Fund and Finishing Trades Institute Fund contributions are to be remitted in accordance with Article XVIII, Trust Funds, Administration Dues and Union Dues.
16.05 The OGATC, on behalf of AGMCA and OCP, will monitor and approve Apprenticeship Training and priority Journeyperson Upgrading Programs in compliance with the Trades Qualification Act, for the Trade of Architectural Glass and Metal Technician and within limitations imposed by the contributions collected and any Government funding which might be obtained with the approval of the OGATC. Due to ever-increasing technological changes in the Glazing/Architectural Metal field, and in the interest of insuring that Glaziers not only maintain but also upgrade their skills at the trade, and because of the need to create safer workplaces, effective January 1, 2011 and for the term of this Collective Agreement, each Journeyperson Xxxxxxx shall obtain without compensation, a minimum of eight (8) hours training in each calendar year as established by the OGATC, related to the glazing trade and/or safety training. Continuing education programs shall be accredited or established by the OGATC in co-operation with the OIFSC Training Director.
