Approved Leave During Vacation. Where an employee is qualified for sick leave, bereavement, or any other approved leave during their period of vacation, there shall be no deduction from vacation credits for such absence. Sick leave credit shall only apply for periods in excess of three (3) days subject to Article 19.06. The period of vacation so displaced shall either be added to the vacation period or reinstated for use at a later date, at the employee's option.
