ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT RELEASE. The Association President shall be released from not less than three-fifths of his/her teaching duties for the purpose of performing his/her duties as Association President. He/she shall be encouraged, but not required, to attend faculty meetings, workshops, conferences, or institutes and shall not be given non-teaching or extra-curricular assignments during the school year. He/she shall be paid on the regular salary schedule and shall be returned to full-time status in the same department upon termination of the period. He/she shall be considered a full-time employee of the district with respect to the Illinois State Teachers Retirement System, all fringe benefits, tenure status, seniority, and placement on the salary schedule. The Association shall reimburse the District for the salary and pension of the substitute for that portion for which the President is released. The salary and pension shall not exceed an amount equivalent to the beginning salary and pension.

ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT RELEASE. 3.7.4.1 A Member who has passed their probation period and has been elected to the Association President position will have full release from their primary position when in the Association President role. 3.7.4.2 The University shall continue the salary for the Association President to an annual maximum of $60,000 plus full pension and benefits on the Member’s reference salary. The Association agrees to reimburse the University for the Association's President's base salary in excess of $60,000. 3.7.4.3 Seniority will continue to accrue and at the end of the Association President’s role, the Member will return to their primary position. 3.7.4.4 The primary position shall be backfilled for the entire duration of their elected leave. Members hired to backfill the position will be hired on a limited term position as outlined in Article 12. External hires will be eligible to apply for posted vacancies as an internal candidate, if hired for more than eighteen (18) months.
ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT RELEASE. At the discretion of the Association, the Association President shall be released from his/her teaching duties up to a half-day and the Association shall pay for 70% of the President's salary, and all MPSERS contributions on the salary amount. Proper notification shall be given to the Human Resources Office. Every effort will be made to allow the President this time consecutively and at a time of his/her choosing, that would be most useful in fulfilling the duties required.

Upon request of the Association, leave time for the Association President shall be granted at an amount and on a schedule mutually agreed upon by the District and Association. The President and District designee shall meet to determine a schedule mutually agreeable to the District and the Association prior to its implementation. 2. The Association shall reimburse the District for the cost of the salary and benefits at the corresponding proportionate rate. The Payroll Office shall be responsible for computing the appropriate reimbursement amount and sending a written billing, including the calculation, to the Association by June 1. Reimbursement by the Association shall be made to the Payroll Office by June 30.

The Association shall reimburse the District for the full cost, at step 7 class 3 including all benefits, of the substitute employed to replace the Association President. b. During service as President of the Association, the employee shall be entitled to receive the same benefits as if he/she were a full-time employee of the District. c. Upon cessation of service as the Association President, he/she shall be returned to his/her teaching position or to a comparable position in the District as held prior to service as Association President. d. The Association shall reimburse the District for the full cost of the extra duty pay for the Association President as agreed upon in Appendix C-4. X. Xxxxxx 1. When a site, in response to a Board adopted goal, pursues a change in program that necessitates a waiver of part of this contract, the following procedure will be followed. a. The bargaining unit members and the principal at the site will notify the District and the Association that a waiver may be needed. b. Representatives from the Association and the District will jointly hold an i. Only dues-paying Association members may vote on waivers. No other persons are allowed to vote on waivers. c. After the informational meeting, the Association representative will meet with the bargaining unit members for further discussion. d. The Association representative will conduct a vote at the site to determine if there is a seventy- five (75) percent agreement with the waiver request. i. Full dues-paying Association members and Agency Fee payers may vote on waivers. No other persons are allowed to vote on waivers. 2. If the site has seventy-five (75) percent agreement of the unit Association members, the Association and the District will write a side letter to waive the affected section of this contract. 3. The side letter will include the following: a. The name of the site. b. The section of the contract to be waived. c. The length of the waiver- not to exceed three (3) years. d. The conditions for renewal of the waiver. e. Any interim procedures to determine if the waiver should be continued or extended to other sites. f. Signatures of the Association President and the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Development.
ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT RELEASE. The Association President shall be released from his/her teaching duties for three-quarters (0.75) day each day at Board expense. Full fringe benefits and all other rights granted by the master agreement shall be maintained during the duration of the office. For purpose of assignment at the conclusion of holding said office, the President will be considered to be holding a full-time position during the term of office. Unless the Office of Retirement Services clarification of its definition of the Administrative Rule related to Professional Services Leave and Professional Services Release Time changes or the parties agree to change the three-quarters day release of the Association president, the following will apply 1. Each month the teacher serving as President of the BEA is provided three quarters (0.75) day release time the BEA agrees to reimburse the BPS for three-quarters (0.75) the retirement contribution costs paid by the District on behalf of the teacher serving as President. 2. The School District shall provide the Association a yearly statement of the total and monthly cost calculated by BPS for the cost of the retirement contribution by August 15 of each school year. 3. Payment is to be made by the Association on an agreed one or multiple-time payment throughout the school year.

  • Leave, President, O.N.A Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Hospital, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year terms. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of service or seniority for a nurse during such leave of absence. During such leave of absence, the nurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. It is understood, however, that during such leave the nurse shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse agrees to notify the Hospital of her or his intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President.
