Change of Work Schedule. (a) When a change to an employee’s work schedule takes place, the effective date of the new schedule will commence after the employee’s previously scheduled days of rest. Where the employee works his scheduled days of rest, the applicable overtime rates will apply. (b) The new schedule can commence on the day of work or a day of rest. Therefore, the new schedule may result in additional day(s) of rest and, accordingly, a reduction of earnings when compared to the previous work schedule. In such cases, the employee will be provided with options as to how the transition to the new schedule can take place, with the opportunity to maintain his earnings as close as possible to the original schedule within the appropriate payroll period.
Change of Work Schedule. Any employee wishing a change in his or her work schedule may do so by selection of an off duty employee to fill in for him or her. The schedule change will be submitted in writing to the Police Chief or designee, stating the employee's name, time and date of the change, and time and date the day will be repaid. All changes in the work schedule are subject to the Police Chief or designee's approval.
Change of Work Schedule. ‌ (a) Two (2) employees in the same classification at the same worksite, and working the same number of hours per week may exchange their ongoing schedules by providing the Employer with thirty (30) days' written notice, subject to operational requirements. Minimum Pay for Call-Ins When an employee is called in for work outside of his regularly-scheduled hours of work, he shall receive a minimum of four hours' pay at his regular rate. This does not apply when the work is continuous with regular time or when the broken work period is caused by leaving the Company area for meals. Change of Work Schedule i. Twenty-four (24) hours notice will be required for changing any shift or non-shift employee's normal work schedule within the limits described in paragraph 11.2(a). ii. If twenty-four (24) hours notice is not given, the first eight (8) hours of work under the changed schedule will be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular straight-time hourly rate. iii. Changes of schedule for short-time emergency situations and the assignment of overtime are not considered a change in an employee's normal work schedule and are permitted without such notice. However, the Employer will give such notice whenever feasible. iv. The normal work days and hours of certain employees in the Public Works, Parks and Recreation, and Utility Billing departments will be those days and hours necessary to complete the day's work.
Change of Work Schedule. (a) The working schedule of each employee, showing the days on and off, shall be posted in an appropriate place at least two (2) weeks in advance. (b) If, within forty-eight (48) hours immediately prior to the originally scheduled day(s) off, an employee’s day(s) off is (are) rescheduled to another time, he/she shall be paid double time for each hour worked on the originally scheduled day(s) off. (c) When an employee’s regularly scheduled shift is changed to another shift in that day, he/she shall be given notice no later than forty-eight (48) hours immediately prior. In the event this notice is not given, the employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half for all hours worked which were not included in the originally scheduled shift.
