In order to gain experience for advancement, he may be required to work alone, or under direct supervision, on jobs for which he has been trained and instructed. The employee’s educational and general qualifications must be such that he is considered capable of attaining journeyman status. The employee must possess any one of the following, a FCC General Radio Telephone Operator License, National Association of Business and Educational Radio (XXXXX) certificate, or National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Inc. (NARTI) certificate. 7635 *APPRENTICE, CONSTRUCTION REPAIRMAN An employee who is engaged in performing work as an Assistant to, or under the general direction of, employees in higher rated classifications within the Construction Department while training for a Journeyman. In order to gain experience for advancement, he may be required to work alone or under direct supervision on jobs for which he has been trained and instructed. The employee's educational and general qualifications must be such that he is considered capable of attaining Journeyman status. 7684 *APPRENTICE, CUSTOMER SERVICEMAN An employee who is engaged in performing work as an assistant to or under the general direction of a Serviceman, Customer, while training for a Journeyman. In order to gain experience for advancement, he may be required to work alone or under direct supervision on jobs for which he has been trained and instructed. The employee's educational and general qualifications must be such that he is considered capable of attaining Journeyman status. Must be able to write legibly and maintain a neat, clean appearance and must be qualified to work with the public. An Apprentice, Customer Serviceman shall be required by Company to reside within a thirty-five (35) mile radius of the Company headquarters to which they regularly report. 7641 *APPRENTICE, ELECTRICIAN An employee who is engaged in performing work as an assistant to or under the general direction of employees in higher rated classifications within the general Measurement and Test Department Occupational Group...
CLASSIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTIONS. Class I (a) Managers— Service Station employees who select, supervise and/or train employees, maintain stations and automotive records, recommend promo tions or disciplinary action, including dis charge.— In multiple unit operations, one who supervises four (4) or more em ployees (regular or extra), (owner, oper ators or lessee may qualify if actually working at station).

The Employer agrees to provide, as Appendix “B” to this Agreement, a list of classifications and corresponding job duties for each classification to be reviewed and agreed to by the Union within six (6) months of Ratification of the Agreement. 17.01 The Employer agrees to provide the Union with the current job descriptions within thirty (30) days of the signing of this Agreement.
17.02 Any amendments to the job descriptions shall be done in consultation with the Union.
17.03 NEW CLASSIFICATIONS OR CHANGES IN CLASSIFICATION When the duties of any classification are significantly changed or when a position not covered in Appendix "A" is established during the term of this Agreement, the rate of pay shall be subject to negotiations between the Employer and the Union. If the parties are unable to agree on the reclassification and/or rate of pay of the job in question, such dispute shall be submitted to grievance and arbitration. The new rate shall become retroactive to the time the position was filled by an Employee or when the classification changed.
CLASSIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTIONS. (a) Swamper 1 Physically fit, punctual, takes direction well, learns quickly, clean and neat appearance, communicates well with other employees and customers. Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts. It is agreed that Company will review the employee’s progress and the employee will be advised in writing of his/her progress at three hundred and twenty-five (325) hours. The employee shall not be held back due to the Company’s failure to complete the review process in the required time. Even if not reviewed as required, the employee may, on request, be advanced to the rate for the Swamper 2, subject to revision in the event that the Company’s review discloses that he has not qualified for progression on merit.
