Duties of Superintendent. The Superintendent represents and warrants that Superintendent possesses the necessary expertise and experience to perform all duties and fulfill all obligations of a superintendent. In consideration of the obligations and commitments of the parties, the Superintendent agrees to completely and faithfully serve the Corporation as superintendent during the term of this Addendum, doing and performing the duties generally recognized as being the normal functions of a public school superintendent in the State of Indiana and as enumerated in the Xxxxxxxx Southeastern Board of School Trustees’ Policy (“Board Policy”). The parties further agree that this division of responsibilities is consistent with and shall continue in accordance with Exhibit C to this Contract, which Exhibit shall not be modified without the written consent of both parties. The Superintendent agrees to perform at a professional level of competency as required by this Addendum, Indiana law, and Board Policy. The Superintendent shall execute all duties and responsibilities as established by the Corporation. Superintendent represents and warrants that Superintendent holds a valid Indiana superintendent’s license. Superintendent shall maintain said license in good standing throughout the Contract Term. Should said license be revoked or become invalid, this Contract shall automatically be terminated without further notice or hearing. The parties to this Addendum further agree that the duties performed by the Superintendent pursuant to this Addendum are unique to this position in the Corporation and the Superintendent will therefore not be transferred or reassigned by the Corporation to another position without Superintendent’s written consent. The Superintendent agrees that at all times while employed pursuant to this Addendum to fully meet the minimum qualifications for the position of superintendent as required by Indiana law. The Superintendent shall execute the responsibilities of the position of superintendent by following and applying at all times the highest professional and ethical guidelines and standards. The Superintendent is generally expected to devote full attention to Superintendent’s duties with the Corporation, but as provided in Board Policy, the Superintendent may undertake consulting work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing or other professional duties and obligations provided that such activities do not interfere with meeting the responsibilities as a superintendent. Duties of Superintendent. The duties of the position of Superintendent are set forth in the job description as incorporated into this Contract by Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein and shall constitute the duties to be performed by the Superintendent pursuant to this Contract. The Board and Superintendent agree that the Superintendent’s job description may be changed from time to time as necessary to accomplish the goals of the School District. The review of the Superintendent’s performance as provided for in Paragraph 2 of this Contract shall be based upon the duties described in the job description in effect at the time of the review. The Superintendent agrees that his duties as Superintendent represent full time employment and he will not accept outside employment, perform work as an independent contractor, or engage in any other business pursuit involving his personal services, if any of these activities interfere with his performance of his duties as Superintendent. The parties to this Contract further agree that the duties performed by the Superintendent pursuant to this Contract are personal and non-delegable except as specifically authorized by the Board, that the position of Superintendent is a unique position in the School District, and the Superintendent will therefore not be transferred or reassigned by the Board to another position without his agreement. The Superintendent agrees that at all times while he is employed pursuant to this Contract he will fully meet the minimum qualifications for the position of Superintendent which include but are not limited to maintaining the license from the State of Indiana required for the position of Superintendent.
Duties of Superintendent. The Superintendent, in consideration of her employment and the salary and other sums and benefits to be provided to her by the Board, xxxxxx accepts said employment on the terms and conditions herein contained and promises and agrees as follows: a. She will act, on a full-time basis, as the Chief Executive Officer of NCSC reportable directly to the Board, as the governing body of NCSC. b. She will assume and perform the usual and customary duties as Superintendent of Schools for NCSC in accordance with the applicable Board policies, regulations and proper Board directives. c. She will faithfully perform all duties imposed upon the Superintendent of Schools applicable to the school corporation by the laws of the State of Indiana, the rules and regulations promulgated by the Board, by a Commission or other agency of the State of Indiana, and all other proper directives of the Board. d. During the term of his employment with NCSC she will maintain in good standing a Superintendent’s license issued by the Indiana Department of Education.
Duties of Superintendent. Superintendent shall, in consideration of the salary stipulated herein, perform the duties and responsibilities of Superintendent in accordance with reasonable performance indicators, based upon generally accepted educational standards in similar school districts in the State of Texas, which may be adopted by MISD from time to time, and which performance meets expectations, in accordance with the duties as required by this contract, the school laws of the State of Texas and such rules, regulations and policies as may be promulgated by MISD. Superintendent shall, at all times during the term of this contract, meet MISD and State qualifications, hold and maintain a valid certificate required of a superintendent by the State of Texas and issued by the Texas Education Agency, as well as such other certificates as may be required by law. Any determination that Superintendent’s performance does not meet expectations or constitutes a significant problem shall be based upon actual evidence of such deficiency. No action shall be taken against Superintendent as a result of his performance not meeting expectations or because same represents a significant problem unless MISD first notifies Superintendent of its complaint and Superintendent is given a reasonable opportunity to cure such deficiency.
Duties of Superintendent. The Superintendent agrees to perform the duties of Superintendent of Schools and to serve as Executive Officer of the Board. The Superintendent shall have the powers and duties which are prescribed by the Board and by law. The Superintendent agrees to devote his full time, skill, labor and attention to the duties of Superintendent during the term of this Contract. The Board and individual members of the Board will refer matters, as appropriate, which come before the Board to the Superintendent for study and recommendation provided; however, the Board may take immediate action on matters that come before the Board at the Board’s discretion.
Duties of Superintendent. The Superintendent shall devote her full time and attention to the duties of her employment and shall perform the same to the best of her ability. The Superintendent shall perform the duties of Chief Executive Officer to administer the affairs and programs of the District in accord with the policies, rules and regulations and such position description as prescribed by the Board of Education and all applicable Colorado and federal laws and regulations, and shall assume and carry out such duties and responsibilities as are usually attendant to such position and as may be from time to time determined by the Board. Superintendent shall be responsible for:  Planning and initiating programs and policies concerning the organizational, operational and educational function of the District as directed by the Board with ultimate responsibility for the execution of these programs and policies.  Assisting the Board in developing short-range and long-range goals and methods for the Board to evaluate the operational effectiveness of the District.  Keeping the Board informed by written and oral reports as to the operation and needs of the District.  Taking discretionary action in any matters not covered by Board policy and reporting such actions to the Board with recommendations for policy as necessary in order to provide guidance in the future,  Directing the daily operation of the District schools by organizing, supervising and coordinating the District staff  Arranging for the systematic evaluation of District staff by responsible administrators.  Recommending the employment of, assigning, and supervising the work of all District employees. Recommending promotion, salary changes, demotion or discharge of any District employee rendering unsatisfactory service.  Establishing internal administrative operational procedures, rules and regulations relating to personnel, financial disbursements and accounting requirements, equipment/facilities operation and use, food service and staffing requirements.  Developing effective staff development programs that are linked to the District’s comprehensive plan and the Board’s goals for the District.  Communicating directly, or through delegation, all personnel actions by the Board to all employees as appropriate and receiving from employees communication to be made to the Board.  Ensuring that District students have equal access to appropriate educational programs, including pupil personnel, extracurricular activities and other s...

Duties of Superintendent. The Superintendent shall faithfully, diligently and competently perform the duties and responsibilities of Superintendent as provided by law, herein and as outlined by the Committee and shall serve as the Chief Executive of the school system. The Superintendent shall follow all other general laws and regulations of the Commonwealth and all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Superintendent shall comply with the policies and procedures of the Committee and shall serve and perform such duties at such time and places and in such manner as the Committee may from time to time direct.
Duties of Superintendent. A. SUPERINTENDENT agrees to serve as the Chief Administrator for the School and to perform the duties and responsibilities commensurate with that office. B. SUPERINTENDENT has, before the execution of this Contract, received, reviewed, executed and delivered to the Education Office of the Diocese of Rockford the following completed forms: 1. “Employment Eligibility Verification (1-9)” form as mandated by the Immigration Reform and Control Act; and 2. Receipts from the “Required Safe Environment Documents”. This contract is contingent upon SUPERINTENDENTS’s successful completion of all these forms as well as a fingerprint background check and “Protecting God’s Children®” training. SUPERINTENDENT warrants that if he/she has previously submitted the above referenced forms to the SCHOOL that the information contained therein is accurate and current and that the obligations undertaken and/or authorized by SUPERINTENDENT therein are hereby reaffirmed. E. SUPERINTENDENT warrants that all information and data concerning qualifications, background and character submitted to the Education Office of the Diocese of Rockford to induce the execution of this contract is accurate and current and that any misrepresentation and/or omission shall entitle the SCHOOL to cancel this contract and void any and all obligations under it. F. SUPERINTENDENT agrees to fulfill his or her contract.
Duties of Superintendent. The Superintendent shall be the chief executive officer and educational leader of the District and shall administer the School District in accordance with the Board's policies. The Superintendent shall perform those duties which are required by State law and other duties as lawfully prescribed by the Board's policies, as they currently exist or as they may hereafter be adopted or amended. It shall further be the duty of the Superintendent to organize, reorganize and arrange the staff of the District subject to Board policies and State and Federal law; and to develop and establish administrative regulations, rules and procedures which the Superintendent deems necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the District and which are consistent with the Board policies and State and Federal law. All duties assigned to the Superintendent by the Board shall be appropriate to and consistent with the professional role and responsibility of the Superintendent.
