Elementary Schedule. I. Elementary teachers shall arrive by 8:35 am. Students shall start to arrive in the classroom at 8:40 am. Teachers shall begin teaching at 8:45 am. Teacher dismissal is at 3:25 pm. II. There shall be a 30-minute daily lunch for students and teachers. III. There shall be a 30-minute daily recess for students during which teachers shall have one (1) 30-minute prep, and four (4) CPT/Consult/Plan per week. IV. Teachers shall have five (5) 42-minute prep periods and one (1) 30-minute special during a normal five (5) day work week. V. There shall be one (1) early release planning day per trimester to be used for planning and one (1) floating half-planning day per year. VI. Elementary schools shall be scheduled on a five (5) day cycle (Monday-Friday). VII. Planning periods may be used for a variety of planning activities, including but not limited to, achieving district goals and school level strategic goals, team planning, co-teacher planning, curriculum coordinator planning, data review planning, administrator planning, and curriculum alignment/review planning. VIII. In the event that a teacher must remain with their class for an indoor recess foregoing the teacher’s preparation period, a 30-minute consultation/common plan period will be replaced with a preparation period. IX. It is acknowledged that due to scheduling difficulties or school enrollments, individual teachers may not have a full schedule. For those teachers, office coverage, including but not limited to covering for IEP and 504 meetings, lunch/recess coverage, and classroom coverage, shall be assigned. These coverages will not be eligible for any additional compensation of office coverage. On half days or early release days, teachers shall only receive preparation time if it occurs during the schedule that day. Schedules on early release days will be rotated equitably. Common planning time may be used for a variety of planning activities, including but not limited to, achieving District goals and school level strategic goals, team planning, co-teacher planning, curriculum coordinator planning, data review planning, administrator planning and curriculum alignment/review planning.

Elementary Schedule. The elementary building schedule will provide for one hour a day of common plan/PLC time for each grade level team. That hour block will consist of five 30- minute PE classes a week, two 30-minute vocal music classes a week and three other 30-minute classes a week. Those three other classes may be, but are not limited to, two technology and not more than one 30-minute library. During library time students may, but are not limited to, check out books, independent reading time, have a curricular lesson taught by the librarian or an assistant assigned to the library. The library assistant may not be scheduled for duty during this time. A 60-minute art class will happen one time a week outside of the 60- minute block. This schedule will stay in effect until an elementary program review is conducted by the director of elementary education along with teachers and elementary administrators. Will form an elementary committee to share best practices for establishing extra time within our existing schedule and prioritize protecting teacher-driven plan time. They will explore planned abandonment of program/activities that are ineffective and need to be eliminated. Teacher members will be selected by the RNEA.
Elementary Schedule. I. Somerset Elementary Schools shall be scheduled on the basis of six-day cycle II. All elementary school teachers shall receive a minimum of thirty (30) consecutive minutes of preparation time every day III. Over the course of the six-day cycle, elementary school teachers shall, in addition to their 45 minute lunch/break period, have one preparation period every day, during which they shall not be assigned to any other duties. IV. Per six day cycle, each elementary class will attend two (2) music classes of forty- two (42) minutes, two (2) physical education classes of forty-two (42 minutes, one (1) art class of forty-two (42) minutes, one (1) technology class of forty-two (42) minutes, and one (1) health class of 30 minutes. For each forty-two (42) minute special, a three (3) minute transition time will be added on for a total block of forty-five (45) minutes. V. Elementary school teachers shall be assigned one (1) common planning time (CPT) period per two (2) six (6) – day cycles (one CPT per twelve school days). Planning periods may be used for a variety of planning activities, including but not limited to, team planning, co-teacher planning, curriculum director/coordinator planning, data review planning, administrator planning, and curriculum alignment/review planning. The CPT will occur on the day that elementary school teachers have both a thirty (30) minute health class and a forty- two (42) minute specialist (art, music, PE, technology) class. VI. In the event that a CPT occur on an early release day, a late start day, a state assessment day, or for some reason that would prevent it from occurring, the principal will work with the teachers affected to schedule the CPT during an abutting cycle. There will be 15 CPT periods scheduled throughout the school year. In the event that a CPT is postponed, the teachers affected by the postponement will be informed of the rescheduled time no less than six school days in advance. VII. The previous contractual bargaining agreement specified a total of 435 minutes of preparation time for every 10 days (43.5 minutes per day average), which equates to 522 minutes of preparation time over 12 days. With this agreement, elementary school teachers will have eleven (11) forty-two (42) minutes periods and two (2) thirty (30) minute periods of preparation for every twelve (12) days, totaling 522 minutes of preparation. Elementary Schedule. Parents will register students for a morning or afternoon session. The morning session will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and the afternoon session will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Teachers will conduct synchronous (live) lessons during the two-hour integrated block on Monday – Thursday, and teachers will tutor/conference every afternoon and all day on Friday. Students are required to attend all synchronous (live) lessons. ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED for elementary students to participate in virtual learning. Academic supports for gifted, students with disabilities, 504 plans, and English Language Learners will take place virtually in collaboration with content teachers.

Elementary Schedule. Annually, the elementary school schedule will be created by the Administration. Prior to creating this schedule, the Association will solicit input from affected educators regarding preferences for the upcoming schedule. Afterward, and at least 30 days prior to finalization, the Superintendent or designee(s) will meet the Association President or designee(s) to discuss the schedule options for the coming school year and educator preferences solicited by the Association. In announcing the final schedule, the Administration will provide a rationale for the structure of the schedule selected.

  • Salary Schedule The salaries of employees covered by this agreement are set forth in the salary schedule in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated into this agreement.

  • Recovery Schedule If the initial schedule or any current updates fail to reflect the Work’s actual plan or method of operation, or a contractual milestone date is more than fifteen (15) days behind, Owner may require that a recovery schedule for completion of the remaining Work be submitted. The Recovery Schedule must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of Owner’s request. The Recovery Schedule shall describe in detail Construction Contractor’s plan to complete the remaining Work by the required Contract milestone date. The Recovery Schedule submitted shall meet the same requirements as the original Construction Schedule. The narrative submitted with the Recovery Schedule should describe in detail all changes that have been made to meet the Contract milestone dates.

  • Pay Schedule 50.01 The regularly scheduled pay day shall be bi-weekly, every other Friday. Pay shall be by direct deposit to the employee’s financial institute as on record with the Employer, with an electronic pay statement issued to the employee on or before the pay date. 50.02 The employee’s pay stub shall be delivered to the employee’s workplace and distributed to the employee on or before the specified pay date. 50.03 Employees shall be paid in accordance with Schedule “A” of this agreement.
