Full-Time Union Position. An employee who is elected or selected for a full time position with the Union or any body with which the Union is affiliated, shall be granted leave of absence without loss of seniority for a period of one (1) year. Such leave may be renewed each year, on request, during their term of office.
Full-Time Union Position. If any employee covered by this Agreement is elected or appointed to a full-time position with Teamsters Local Union No. 957 after September 1, 2012, said employee shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence for the length of his or her service with Teamsters Local Union No. 957 in said full-time position. The employee’s record will not be active in the University payroll system but said employee shall receive all benefits he or she is entitled to as an inactive employee. Once the employee is no longer in a full- time position with Teamsters Local Union No. 957, he or she shall be able to return to work to an available vacancy, at the pay and benefits provided for that position at the time of his or her return, and without loss of seniority.

Full-Time Union Position. This letter confirms the agreement concerning the potential for a full time union position. The intent of this letter is to clarify the framework around a full time union position. It is understood that: • The Union will provide thirty (30) days’ notice of implementing this position along with the name of the incumbent • The Union will be responsible to pay for all compensation of this position, including salary and benefitsThe Company will hold the incumbent’s position while in fulltime Union position • Both Parties agree to allow seniority to accumulate • The Union commits to permitting this position to have authority and the ability to manage the day to day decisions of the Union executive • The incumbent will oversee all issues arising at the mine and will be available to attend meetings at both the mine or at the Union hall as reasonably requested by the Company This letter may be cancelled by either Party within ninety (90) days written notice or within seven (7) days, if mutually agreed to by the Union and the Company.
Full-Time Union Position. Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Centre shall give reasonable consideration to a request for leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee may be on such leave at any time. Such leave, if granted, shall be for a period of six (6) months from the date of appointment unless extended for a further specific period by agreement of the parties. Seniority and service shall accumulate during such leave to the maximum provided, if any, under the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It will become the responsibility of the employee for full payment for any applicable benefits in which the employee is participating during such leave of absence.
Full-Time Union Position. ‌ (a) In the event that an employee becomes a full-time official of the Union, they shall be granted leave of absence for the purpose of carrying out the duties of their office and shall retain their seniority in the Foundation as if they had remained in continuous employment therein. They shall have the right, at anytime, upon giving one (1) month’s notice, to return to the same position, if available, or to a comparable position or to such other position to which they may be promoted by reason of seniority and ability. (b) Such employees shall make regular contributions to Pension Funds, and all employee benefits, participating in same as would permanent employees of the Foundation. Their contributions to these benefits shall be based on their earnings during their full-time employment with the Union, who shall pay the Foundation’s portion, making due allowance for changes in their marital status and number of dependents.
Full-Time Union Position. In the event the Union appoints or elects an employee to a full-time position with the Union, the Company, upon proper notification shall grant a leave of absence, without pay and benefits, not to exceed the life of this Agreement. No more than three (3) such employees may service a JBS facility.
Full-Time Union Position. The Union may designate two (2) Walking Stewards to cover A, B, and C shifts from among the Employer’s employees. These individuals shall have as their job duties the administration of this Agreement, including safety assignments and the processing of grievances. Full-Time Union Position. An employee elected into a full time Employees Union position shall be granted leave of absence for the term of office. During the leave of absence the employee shall maintain all rights and benefits to which he is entitled to under the Agreement
