OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. 26.01 The Employer agrees to abide by the terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
26.02 An Employee's rights shall be respected in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
26.03 The Employer, the Employees and the Union will cooperate to the fullest extent in the matter of occupational health, safety, security and accident prevention and the Employer agrees to provide safety equipment when required and to install devices where necessary.
(a) Identify situations which may be unhealthy or unsafe in respect of the worksite and make appropriate recommendations.
(b) Assist in the development and promotion of measures to protect the health of Employees in the facility and to check the effectiveness of such measures. A Committee will be established to consider matters of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S).
26.04 An OH&S Committee will be established for the Division and at each site covered under this Collective Agreement to consider matters of Occupational Health and Safety. DRAFT
(a) The Division OH&S Committee shall meet at least quarterly or more frequently if required by either party.
(b) The Division OH&S Committee shall be comprised of representatives of Management and representatives of each Union in the organization. The Union will have the right to designate at least two (2) members of the bargaining unit as a member of this Committee.
26.06 The Site level OH&S Committee(s) shall meet at least monthly or more frequently if required by either party. The Committee(s) shall be established and the Union will have the right to designate a minimum of two (2) members from that site of the bargaining unit as members of this Committee.
26.07 The Basic Rate of Pay will be paid to such Employee for time spent in attendance at a meeting of the Committee.
26.08 The Employer will co-operate with the Committee by providing:
(a) materials and equipment necessary to carry out its functions in accordance with its terms of reference.
(b) data pertaining to workplace health and safety conditions.
26.09 The Employer shall not unreasonably deny committee members access to the workplace to conduct safety inspections including monitoring.
26.10 The Health and Safety Committee shall also consider measures necessary to ensure the safety of each Employee at the work site and may make recommendations to the Employer in that regard. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. The Supplier undertakes to:
a) meet all applicable occupational health and safety (OHS) legal requirements;
b) have their own written OHS policy that demonstrates their commitment to OHS, and appoint OHS managers within their organization;
c) ensure that you have operational control, such as rules and procedures, and that you inform all employees thereof;
d) have emergency management procedures in place;
e) raise employee awareness of OHS issues, enhance the safety culture through open communication and ensure that all staff have received appropriate OHS training;
f) measure and monitor performance and any OHS hazards through workplace inspections and audits ;
g) report and investigate OHS-related incidents .
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. The parties recognise that some of the raw materials, process equipment and products used or produced may give health, safety or environmental problems if not handled correctly. It is therefore essential that the Company provides all employees with adequate training, information and protective clothing. It is also essential that employees use this training, information and protective clothing correctly.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. The Artist must conduct their work in the Studio in a safe manner and create a safe environment for all collaborators and members of the public invited into the Studio. OH&S support documentation (e.g. Risk Assessment/Safe Work Method statements) may be required to be produced by the Artist, or their collaborators, depending on their planned activities. Failure to produce this documentation when requested may result in the immediate termination of this Agreement.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. The Employer is committed to Worker Safety and compliance with relevant Australian OH&S legislation and there shall be appropriate occupational health and safety consultation for this purpose.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. 44.01 It is the responsibility of the Employer to provide a safe and healthy workplace. The Parties to this Collective Agreement will cooperate to the fullest extent in the matter of occupational health, safety and accident prevention. The Employer and Employees will take reasonable steps to eliminate, reduce or minimize all workplace safety hazards. Employees have the right to know and the right to participate in OHS matters in the workplace and they have the right to refuse dangerous work. All Employees are required to adhere to applicable OHS legislation and the Employer's OHS management system, including but not limited to standard operating procedures, safe work practices etc.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. The Employer is committed to Worker Safety and compliance to the applicable occupational health and safety legislation and there shall be an occupational health and safety committee at the site for this purpose.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. (a) NewSouth Global is committed to meeting its statutory obligations under the prevailing OH&S legislation applying to NewSouth Global.
(b) NewSouth Global will ensure that consultation and provision of information relating to OH&S is a priority.
(c) NewSouth Global will organise a meeting of its OH&S Committee to deal with any OH&S concerns raised by of employees, upon request from an employee (or their chosen representative).
(d) NewSouth Global will provide and maintain adequate first-aid facilities (see subclause 12.2 for details on the allowance payable to an employee serving as a First Aid Officer).
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. A Marine Pilot will be a representative on the OH&S Committee.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S. AFL Victoria honours its responsibility as an employer to provide a safe and healthy working environment for its employees. This will include car parking at training facilities and venues where matches are played. AFL Victoria will endeavour to provide the best possible security for car parking areas, and proactively educate umpires on how best to minimise the risk of damage to cars and theft of valuables. AFL Victoria will develop OHS policies to protect the safety and welfare of umpires in consultation with the VFUA. AFL Victoria will then effectively manage the administration of these policies. The Heat Policy and the Lightning Policy, developed by AFL Victoria in conjunction with the VFUA, are attached at Annex 3. Any change to the match day policies will be made prior to the commencement of the VFL Senior Home & Away season in consultation with the VFUA. AFL Victoria will distribute these policies to all umpires prior to the commencement of the VFL Senior Home & Away season. Any change to the training policies will be made prior to the commencement of official pre-season training sessions in consultation with the VFUA. In line with OHS legislation and guidelines, AFL Victoria will ensure that all VFL umpires are supplied with SPF15+ sunscreen, caps for training and appropriate sunglasses (goal umpires).
