Hours of Work - Day Workers. 13.1 This clause applies to all Employees, except those employed as Shift Workers.
Hours of Work - Day Workers. 12.1 The ordinary working hours of Day Workers shall be 38 per week to be worked Monday to Friday, inclusive, between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.

The regular hours of work for Day Workers' shall be from a.m. to with one fifteen minute paid rest period in the morning and a thirty minute paid lunch break, except in the event of a serious breakdown in which case (2) 12-hour tours may be scheduled. The Company shall post a work schedule not later than Thursday of each week. In the event that a temporary change in the normal schedule of hours for Day Workers becomes necessary because of a breakdown of equipment in any department of the mill, the Company will give the employees affected notice of such change not less than hours prior to the start of the new work schedule. In the absence of such notice, time and one-half will be paid for time worked between and a.m. on the first day of the changed schedule. Hours of Work -Tour Workers Where eight (8) hour tours are worked by Tour Workers, they shall be from a.m. to to midnight and midnight to a.m. except as mutually agreed. Hours of Work - Day Workers. 16.01 The regular hours for day workers shall be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a one-half hour unpaid lunch period to take place between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Hours of Work - Day Workers. 12.1 The ordinary hours of work may be worked on any or all days of the week, Monday to Friday inclusive, between the hours of 6am and 6pm, at the discretion of the Company, following consultation with the local CEPU delegate. The maximum number of ordinary hours per day shall be 8, unless the company and the majority of employees in a section agree to a greater number of ordinary hours.

When shift work is operationally required, the department manager will consult the incumbent and when requested their union representative. For all other employees (day workers) the normal hours of work per day shall be eight and one half (8 consecutive hours of work inclusive of one half hour paid lunch break and on half hour unpaid lunch break. The days of work shall be Monday to Friday and days off shall be Saturday and Sunday. For vacancies and newly created positions hours of work will be scheduled in accordance with operational requirement. Hours of Work Workers Assistant Terminal Managers including Customer Service Supervisors the normal hours of work per day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work inclusive of one half hour paid lunch break. The shift schedule shall be established in accordance with operational requirements. Marine Atlantic Inc. will make every reasonable effort: not to schedule the commencement of a shift within twelve (12) hours of the completion of the employee's previous shift; to avoid excessive fluctuations in hours of work; not to schedule more than five (5) consecutive days of work. and to schedule at least two (2) consecutive days of rest at a time. to post schedules of work at least fifteen (15) calendar days in advance of the starting date of the new schedule. An employee who is a shift worker and whose scheduled hours of work are changed by Marine Atlantic without forty-eight (48) hours prior notice shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rate for the first full shift worked on the new schedule. With approval of the employer in accordance with operational requirements and provided sufficient advance notice is given, an employee may exchange if there is no increase in cost to the employer. The employee shall be paid as if no exchange had occurred.
