Overtime Minimum Pay Sample Clauses

The Overtime Minimum Pay clause establishes the requirement that employees must receive additional compensation for hours worked beyond their standard work schedule. Typically, this means that any hours worked over a set threshold—such as 40 hours per week—are paid at a higher rate, often one and a half times the regular hourly wage. This clause ensures that employees are fairly compensated for extra work and protects them from being overworked without adequate pay, thereby promoting fair labor standards and discouraging excessive overtime.
