Picks. 1 . Runs, cover jobs and other assignments containing all known prospective work shall be posted for pick . The Portal may be used as a means for Pick Postings . Five (5) copies of the pick sheets shall be furnished to the Union at least five (5) days prior to the date of each pick and Employees shall pick assignments in accordance with their departmental seniority . School Bus Division Drivers shall have a minimum of a one-day preview of the picks . Employees who are absent because of illness shall be afforded an opportunity to pick by mail or telephone or written authorization by said party to the Union . When changing departments within the bargaining unit, seniority will only be maintained for six months . The employee will have the option to return to the former department, but not to original picked assignment .
2 . Pick sheets are not to leave the property at any time, but the Company will supply a private room for the committee to examine and study them . An addition or deletion on picked runs is hereby defined as a new school added or deleted to an existing run . If a temporary (5 days) addition or deletion is made, there will be no pick . If a permanent (more than five days) change is made after the pick, the driver whose run has been changed may request a new pick . If such request is made, the Company will post a new pick within fifteen (15) days . The new pick will involve only those individuals who are less senior to the driver requesting the pick .
3 . Each employee shall be given an opportunity to train on all equipment and on all extra work that may become available . In the event the Employer does not permit an employee to qualify, the Employer shall give his reason to the employee and the Union in writing . This applies to all new work that may become available .
4 . Where there are insufficient ADA Drivers to pick all of the ADA runs, senior qualified school bus drivers, then senior qualified van drivers, may pick the remainder . The Company will maintain a running signup sheet (at all locations) for the purpose of identifying those drivers that are interested in open ADA Driver positions . School Bus Drivers stating an interest to be transferred to the Transit Division will be placed on a list to be selected in seniority order, if qualified . Picks. There shall be two (2) picks each year in the shop (one on January 1st for inter-garage pick and one on July 1st) . The company shall designate the qualification and location and time for each slot and the most senior mechanics who qualify shall select their position from a list of current School Bus, Van, ADA & Transit . The July 1st Pick shall be for location and shift in accordance with existing shop practices .
Picks. A. A “PICK” will be conducted three (3) times a year, mid-winter, end of spring and beginning of fall. Dates of the Pick will be mutually agreed in LRC, in consideration of the requirements set by King County Metro. The Pick will be conducted in accordance with Pick Protocol mutually developed and agreed to by the EMPLOYER and the UNION. The Pick will be held at an EMPLOYER facility. The UNION will administer the actual Pick procedure.
Picks a. Each match will begin by one player picking a character and a character variation
b. The first player to pick should be decided randomly using an appropriate method by the Tournament organizer
c. After the first player has picked and the second player has begun character and variation pick, the first player may not change selection
d. Any map maybe selected by each player. If each player picks different maps, the game will choose a map at random automatically
e. Subsequently, the winner of the previous game in a match will pick first.
f. From the second match round, the players that picked first in the previous round should pick second where possible
g. After each game in a match, the players must return to character select

Picks. A. In the spring and fall of each year or when mutually agreed by the PARTIES, all O&M Supervisor shifts will be posted for a general pick.
1. Copies of schedules and assignments to be picked will be posted at all work sites 14 days prior to the pick. RAIL also will issue each O&M Supervisor, and the UNION, a copy of this information.
Picks. (a) BUS OPERATORS Bus operators shall be allowed to pick runs a minimum of four (4) times a year to be effective in the months of March, June, September and December. All schedules shall be posted not less than five (5) days before the start of the picking of runs, except in emergency picking, in which case the schedules shall be posted so as to give the employees as much time as possible before picking runs. The garage superintendent shall notify every operator on the sick list, if possible, of the time the employee is scheduled to pick. Box pullers shall pick once every year on or about December 1st.
Picks. Vacation picks will be granted by classification seniority among the employees in the same work location, provided however, the Department Head shall have the right to determine the number and scheduling of crews and employees who can be on vacation at any one time without hindering the operation of the Department. The Department will not designate any time or period during the calendar year when eligible employees would be prohibited from scheduling and taking vacation time. Employees shall make vacation picks at a time and in the man- ner currently provided for by their Department. The Department will respond to the employees’ request for specific vacation dates within a reasonable period of time after the request is made, but not more than fourteen (14) days from the date the request is re- ceived by the Department, except in cases where the request is made for a vacation to be scheduled within fourteen (14) days. The Department will not arbitrarily cancel an approved vacation selection absent a severe emergency situation caused by an act of God (e.g., snow, flood, storms), a severe manpower shortage which may seriously hinder the Department’s operations, or where an employee possesses a unique skill indispensable to the imme- diate performance of a Department’s operation. Any such cancel- lation of the vacation pick shall result in the payment of the vacation pay (thereby reducing the total of the employee’s accrued vacation time) plus payment to the employee of the appropriate pay rate for all hours worked as if it were a normal work day, or for a normal work day, whichever is greater, unless the employee voluntarily agrees to reschedule the vacation days lost. Cancellation of approved vacation requests which would result in serious provable financial loss to an employee shall occur only in the most extreme emergencies. In the event of such cancella- tion, the Employer will reimburse the employee for reasonable losses incurred as a direct result of the cancellation, (e.g., cost of rescheduling airline tickets, deposit forfeitures, and the like).
