Sick Leave Accrual Rates. Regular employees shall accrue 0.0385 hours of sick leave with pay for each hour of compensation to a maximum of 3.08 hours per pay period.
Sick Leave Accrual Rates. Bargaining Unit Faculty Members with fiscal appointments earn 10 hours (1.25 days) of sick leave per month. Academic year Members earn 45 hours (5.625 days) of sick leave for each of the Fall and Spring Semesters and an additional 30 hours (3.75 days) of sick leave when they teach full time (12 credit hours) during the Summer. For teaching less than 12 credit hours in the summer, sick leave is pro-rated (3 credit hours =7.5 hours of sick leave; 4 credit hours = 10 hours of sick leave; 6 credit hours = 15 hours; etc.). Xxxx leave accumulates with no limit to the number of hours of sick leave which may be accrued by a Bargaining Unit Faculty Member. When on leave without pay pursuant to Section 30.7, Members do not accrue sick leave.
Sick Leave Accrual Rates. Employees covered by this MOA shall accrue 0.0231 hours of sick leave with pay for each hour worked during the pay period.
Sick Leave Accrual Rates. Tier 1 and Tier 2 employees in the Bargaining Unit shall accrue sick leave with pay in accordance with the following provisions:
a. Tier 1 and Tier 2 regular full-time employees in the Bargaining Unit with an average regular work week of 40 hours shall accrue paid sick leave at the bi- weekly rate of 3.69 hours or eight (8) hours for each complete month of service (96 hours annually).
b. Employees in the Bargaining Unit in their first year of employment will be allowed to utilize their sick leave under the sick leave usage guidelines, up to their annual accrual amount. If usage taken exceeds accrual earned, those hours in excess will show as a negative accrual balance.
c. OPSRP regular full-time employees in the Bargaining Unit with an average regular work week of 40 hours shall accrue paid sick leave at the bi-weekly rate of 5.31 hours or 11.5 hours for each complete month of service (138 hours annually).
Sick Leave Accrual Rates. Sick leave will accrue in accordance with Administrative Regulation 4.8(B)(1).

c. Paid sick leave shall continue to accrue in accordance with the above provisions during any period of leave with pay.
Sick Leave Accrual Rates. An eligible employee covered by PTO also earns hours in a Sick Bank. Sick Bank helps cover extended absences from work due to illness, injury, or disability. The hours are earned in a separate bank from PTO hours. The rate of accrual is nine (9) days per year for full‐time employees. Eligible part‐time employees receive pro rated Sick Bank hours based on a rate of .0346 hours for each hour compensated up to nine (9) days per year. The maximum accrual is sixty (60) days. In order to use Sick Bank, an employee must use one (1) PTO day. Effective August 15, 2009, employees will be entitled to sick leave with pay only for their own personal illness or the illness of the employee’s dependent child, not to exceed the accumulated amount. Sick Bank is paid for the first day of absence in the following cases: If the employee (or child) is hospitalized If the employee (or child) has surgery on an inpatient or outpatient basis If the employee suffers an on‐the‐job injury If the employee (or child) is on an approved FMLA leave If the employee (or child) returns to work for one (1) day or less and has a continuation of the same illness
Sick Leave Accrual Rates. Sick leave for Firefighter/EMTs and Lieutenants shall be accrued at the rate of twelve (12) hours per month but not to exceed 144 hours per year.
