Xxxx Leave Accrual. Accrual of the protected Paid Sick Leave Benefit starts on the employee’s first day of work and is based on hours worked with the employee accruing one (1) hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 40 hours worked. For example, a typical full-time employee will earn up to 6.5 Sick Days annually. Paid Sick Leave Hours will be available for eligible employees to use on their 91st calendar day of employment. Up to 52 hours of accrued, unused paid Xxxx Leave will roll over each year based on the employee’s anniversary date. Protected Sick Leave hours do not have a maximum cap for accrual, annually. Eligible employees include full time employees, part time employees and on- call employees.
