Xxxx Leave Donations. Employees in the Unit as well as officers above the rank of sergeant and other non-bargaining unit employees in the Police Department may donate sick leave for the purpose of providing authorized sick leave to any Unit member who has exhausted all accrued annual, compensatory and sick leave. Sick leave means leave earned under Section A. of this Article. The procedures governing donation of sick leave followed in implementing the Sick Leave Donor Program established by the predecessor Agreement between the parties shall remain in effect, except as provided in Section P of this Article. Where the FOP has an established leave donation agreement with another bargaining unit within Xxxxxxxxxx County, the employer agrees to honor the agreement pursuant to the applicable contractual requirements of the bargaining unit and transfer sick leave as requested. Xxxx Leave Donations. A faculty member may donate not less than one-half day nor more than two days of sick leave to another faculty member who has exhausted his/her sick leave due to a serious personal illness. Subject to budget limitations, a maximum of 45 days of sick leave may be donated to any one employee during an academic year. The parties will work cooperatively to provide affordable coverage of the absent employee's responsibilities.

Xxxx Leave Donations. 1. Members will be allowed to donate up to six (6) sick days of the donating employee's current hours, per year for a serious health condition as defined by OFLA for members in need of additional sick leave. For example, an employee who works four hours per day would be eligible to donate up to twenty-four (24) hours total per year to the donated leave program.
Xxxx Leave Donations. A participating member may contribute in ½ day increments up to 7.5 hours of sick leave to a common donation.
Xxxx Leave Donations. A bargaining unit member who has accumulated at least thirty (30) days of sick leave may donate a portion of his or her accumulated sick leave to another bargaining unit member, who through their own or, effective December 11, 2017, their family member’s serious and protracted illness has used up all his or her accumulated sick leave and vacation leave. The Mayor, or his or her designee, and the Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations shall authorize the donation and transfer of such sick leave provided the following conditions are met:

Full-time bargaining unit members may transfer sick leave days to another full-time employee in the bargaining unit who is on an extended absence due to illness or injury and who has exhausted all accrued paid leaves. The transfer of days cannot reduce the balance of sick leave days available to the donating employee below forty-two (42) days.
Xxxx Leave Donations. 1. A member of the bargaining units shall have the right to donate, in writing, a maximum of eighty (80) hours accrued sick leave per fiscal year provided such donation will not reduce their accumulated sick leave to less than eighty (80) hours. These eighty (80) hours may be distributed among one or more members of the bargaining unit. Donated sick leave may be used by a bargaining unit member in the same manner that accumulated sick leave may be used (see 7.1 A). An employee shall not be eligible to receive donated sick leave days until that employee has exhausted all of his/her accumulated sick leave. No employee may receive more than three hundred twenty (320) hours of donated sick leave per fiscal year. While receiving donated sick leave, the employee may not receive pay or compensation from any other plans in which the District participates, either in full or in part. For purposes of this section, District insurance contributions pursuant to Article VIII are not considered compensation. Xxxx leave donated but not used will be returned to the donor by the end of the fiscal year in which it was donated. Donated leave will be used in the order donated.
