Appointment Letter. Upon appointment, an Employee shall be provided with a letter stating the Employee’s employment status and classification.
Appointment Letter. Normally within fifteen (15) working days following the Employer’s decision to hire, the successful candidate will be provided with a written offer of appointment, copied to the Union, setting out the position title and workplace location, commencement date, hours of work, entitlement to expense allowances, benefit information, name and phone number of the Union Xxxxxxx and a copy of this Collective Agreement.

ii. a statement that the appointment is conditional upon verification of the candidate’s academic credentials;
Appointment Letter. At the time a new employee is hired or a present employee is appointed to a new position, they shall receive written confirmation from the Board of their hiring or appointment, position, rate of pay, days and hours of work, benefits and, where pertinent, their duration of employment.

The parties agree that the sole and exclusive remedies available, if an adjudicator determines that an Appointment Letter was not provided on or before thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start of employment, the deadline without good cause, which includes an appointment becoming available after the deadline (e.g., unforeseen circumstances, an employee declined an opportunity, changes in enrollment, late receipt of specialized funding, new opportunities becoming available, and replacement positions due to original opportunity no longer being available) is fifty ($50.00) dollars paid directly to CGE to be dispersed disbursed at their discretion. The In addition, the Graduate Employee must receive the Appointment Letter within seven (7) calendar days of the determination or by the start of employment, whichever comes first, provided the employment start date has not yet passed. However, if the employment start date is before the end of this seven (7) day period, the Graduate Employee must receive the complete Appointment Letter by the start of employment. The Appointment Letter shall indicate an appointment to a Graduate Assistantship as a Graduate Employee. A Graduate Employee’s assignment appointment type (e.g., whether they are a Graduate Teaching Assistant or Graduate Research Assistant) may be changed vary between terms over the course of a single appointment. iii. the Xxxx to whom the candidate reports;
iv. the normal date for the Continuing Appointment review, if applicable;
v. any requirement that the candidate acquire and/or maintain in good standing certain professional credentials or designations when the failure to have or maintain such credential(s) or designation(s) could be grounds for dismissal;
vi. a statement as to whether the offer is conditional upon the candidate being legally eligible to work in Canada;
vii. a statement that the position is in the bargaining unit represented by the Association, with web references to the Agreement and to the Association; and
viii. a statement that the candidate is expected to model the integration of technology into Teaching in UOIT’s web-centric and mobile learning environment.
b) Once an offer of employment has been accepted by a candidate, a copy shall be placed in the Official File and a copy shall be provided to the Association.
Appointment Letter our letter which confirms the scope of Services to be performed by us and our fee chargeable for that scope, as the same may subsequently be added to, updated or varied in writing. Where we issue an appointment letter for our Services and subsequently add to those Services in further appointment letters, all the letters will together form one Appointment Letter dated with the date of the first appointment letter.
