Authorized Leaves With Pay. A. Employees shall be entitled to fifteen (15) working days sick leave with pay for each year of continuous service. Xxxx leave credit will begin on the first working day of the first full month following employment in the Town and will accumulate thereafter at the rate of one and one quarter (1¼) days for each full month of employment. Employees having an aggregate of more than one day of leave without pay and or absence without pay in any calendar month shall have their sick leave pro-rated for the number of days worked in the month. With the exception of any unpaid leave granted under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), there shall be no accrual of sick leave benefits while an employee is on unpaid leave. A regular part-time employee shall be granted sick leave credits in the same proportion that his/her part-time service bears to full-time service.

  • VACATIONS WITH PAY 21.01 All regular employees will receive vacation with pay in accordance with the following schedule.

  • Approved Leave of Absence With Pay During Vacation When an employee is qualified for bereavement leave, sick leave or any other approved leave with pay during her vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. In the case of sick leave, this section shall only apply when the period of illness or injury is in excess of two (2) days and a note from a physician may be required. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time.
