HOLIDAYS AND VACATION TIME. A. Bargaining unit members who have worked at least thirty (30) working days prior to any paid holiday shall receive time off with pay in accordance with the following:
1. Bargaining unit members who are twelve (12) month employees shall receive the Friday before Labor Day if school is not in session, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving, the last work day before Christmas provided school is not in session in which case the holiday will be the day after Christmas, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve Day, New Year's Day, Presidents' Day, when school is not in session, Memorial Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx. Day, and July 4 as paid holidays. Total - twelve (12) holidays.
2. Bargaining unit members who work less than twelve (12) months shall receive the Friday before Labor Day if school is not in session, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx. Day, President’s Day and Memorial Day as paid holidays. Total - eight (8) holidays.
3. When the holiday occurs on Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. When the holiday occurs on Saturday, it will be observed on the preceding Friday.
4. In order to receive holiday pay, bargaining unit members must work the last workday preceding and the first workday following the holiday provided they are normally scheduled for work on said days except in case of illness.
5. The rate of pay for bargaining unit members who are required to work on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day and July 4 shall be double the hourly rate. The rate of pay for bargaining unit members who are required to work on the Friday following Thanksgiving, the last work day before Christmas or the day after Christmas, New Year's Eve Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx. Day, and Presidents' Day shall be one and one-half (1½) times the hourly rate.
6. If a bargaining unit member is on vacation on any of the above-named holidays, that day shall be charged as a holiday, not a vacation day.
7. In the event any designated holiday(s) is scheduled as a day of student instruction, alternate holidays will be designated.
8. Should a bargaining unit member terminate employment, s/he will not receive pay for holiday(s) that occur after the last day worked irrespective of whether the holiday(s) falls within the period of his/her remaining vacation time.

Employee is entitled to as many weeks of paid vacation time as Employee deems appropriate, provided that such vacation time does not interfere with Employee's duties to Employer. Moreover, if this Agreement is terminated for any reason other than Cause, death or Permanent Disability, Employee shall be entitled to three weeks of paid vacation.

When Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve falls on a Sunday, the holiday will be observed on the following Tuesday unless Tuesday is scheduled for students or teachers in which case, the holiday will be observed on the preceding Friday.
3. In order to receive holiday pay, bargaining unit members must work the last workday preceding and the first workday following the holiday provided they are normally scheduled for work on said days except in case of illness verified by a doctor.
4. The rate of pay for bargaining unit members who are required to work on any of the above-named holidays shall be double the regular hourly rate. In addition to the foregoing, said bargaining unit members shall receive holiday pay at the straight time rate.
5. If a bargaining unit member is on vacation on any of the above-named holidays, that day shall be counted as a holiday, not a vacation day.
6. All holiday hours worked or unworked for which a bargaining unit member is compensated shall be regarded as hours worked for purposes of computing overtime.
7. In the event any designated holiday(s) is scheduled as a day of student instruction, alternate holidays will be designated.

Bargaining unit members who are twelve (12) month employees and are scheduled to work less than 2,080 hours (except 230 day special education bus drivers) in any year shall be credited with paid vacation time based upon their years of employment as set forth in Section B and computed in accordance with the following formula:

HOLIDAYS AND VACATION TIME. Employee shall be entitled to such paid holidays and vacation time as is consistent with Employer's standard holiday and vacation policy applicable to senior management of Employer.
HOLIDAYS AND VACATION TIME. Section B.1 Years of service for the accrual of vacation time shall be determined by the Employee’s anniversary date.
Section B.2 The Employee shall receive vacation time as follows: Vacation will be granted each January at a rate of 240 hours per year, but will not exceed a total of 360 hours in the chief’s vacation bank.
Section B.3 Vacation shall be granted in any combination of days. In the event the Employee terminates his employment, or is terminated without cause, or due to death, retirement, or disability, the Employee or the Employee's beneficiary shall receive full pay for all unused vacation time from prior years and for all unused vacation time from the current year on a pro- rata basis.
