Hours of Work and Leave. A. Employees performing work at the alternate worksite will follow established procedures for requesting and obtaining approval of leave, consistent with Article 35 - Time and Leave of this Agreement.
B. Employees performing work at the alternate worksite are subject to the same maximum workday limits as they would be if they were performing work at their official duty station, consistent with Article 21 - Hours of Work and Overtime of this Agreement.
C. The number of days each week, pay period, or month an employee will work at an alternative worksite will vary depending on the individual arrangement made between the employee and the supervisor. Employees may work as few as one day per month or as many as five days per week for full time telework.
D. Employees on duty shall be available to participate in regular staff meetings and other meetings necessary to the accomplishment of work; have direct interaction with the supervisor, coworkers, and customers; and access equipment, files, and reference materials not available at the ADS. Supervisors will consider deviations from this requirement to include such circumstances as accommodating physical disabilities, recovery from illness or injury, field work, etc.
E. With supervisory approval, employees may choose to change their scheduled work hours, or change to or from an Alternative Work Schedule. For example, an employee may begin their work at an earlier time when working from home since no time is spent commuting to the worksite.
Hours of Work and Leave. Employees performing work at the ADS are subject to the same workday requirements as they would be if they were performing work at the official duty station. Employees will continue to be covered by all provisions of Article 29, Time and Attendance and Article 13, Use of Leave.
Hours of Work and Leave a. Employees performing work at the alternative worksite are subject to the same workday requirements as they would be if they were performing work at the official duty station. Employees will continue to be covered by all bargained provisions in accordance with the MLA.
b. Fitness/Wellness time is permitted to be used during telework if approved. Arrangements must be worked out in advance with the employee and their direct supervisor and must not interfere with mission requirements.
Hours of Work and Leave. 7.1 Employees performing work at the alternate worksite will follow established procedures for requesting and obtaining approval of leave, consistent with Article 18, Leave, of this Agreement.
7.2 Employees performing work at the alternate worksite are subject to the same maximum workday limits as they would be if they were performing work at their official duty station, consistent with Article 13, Hours of Work, and Article 14, Overtime/Premium Pay and Compensation, of this Agreement.
7.3 The number of days each week, pay period, or month an employee will work at an alternative worksite will vary depending on the individual arrangement made between the employee and the supervisor. Employees may telework as few as one day per month or as many as five (5) days per week.
7.4 Employees on duty shall be available to participate in regular staff meetings and other meetings necessary to the accomplishment of work; have direct interaction with the supervisor, coworkers, and customers; and access equipment, files, and reference materials not available at the ADS. As a general rule, mandatory training days will override telework scheduling; that is, teleworkers will report to their primary worksite to participate in mandatory training days unless their supervisor provides an exception before the training day. Supervisors will consider deviations from this requirement to include such circumstances as accommodating physical disabilities, recovery from illness, etc.
7.5 With supervisory approval, employees may choose to change their scheduled work hours, or change to or from an AWS in accordance with Article 13, Section 10 of this Agreement. For example, an employee may begin their work at an earlier time when working from home since no time is spent commuting to the worksite.
7.6 Time spent in a telework status must be accounted for and reported in the same manner as if the employee reported to work at their regular worksite. Employees must record dates and times of telework accomplished so telework usage can be tracked. The following telework codes will be the only three types annotated in Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) unless otherwise updated by ATAAPS:
7.6.1 “TW” – Telework Regular and Recurring

Employees performing work at the alternate worksite will follow established procedures for requesting and obtaining approval of leave, consistent with Article 35 - Time and Leave of this Agreement Employees with approved telework agreements are required to work their normal tour of duty when the official worksite and duty station is closed (e.g., due to weather or safety concerns) and they are able to travel to and from work at their approved alternate duty station. For example, telework-ready employees (i.e. employees with a signed telework agreement) are required to work at their approved alternate duty station during emergencies or changes in operating status (e.g., Federal offices are closed, Federal offices are on delayed arrival, the Agency is operating under a Continuity of Operations Plan, etc.) or must take leave for the day.
B. Employees performing work at the alternate worksite are subject to the same maximum workday limits as they would be if they were performing work at their official duty station, consistent with Article 21 - Hours of Work and Overtime of this Agreement Employees participating in the telework program will not be excused from work because workers at the official worksite and/or duty station are dismissed or not required to work due to an emergency if the emergency does not impact the work being performed at the alternate worksite and/or duty station. If an emergency occurs that does impact the work being performed at the alternate worksite and/or duty station, the employee will immediately notify the Department. The Department may direct the employee to another worksite, grant excused absence, or allow the employee to request appropriate leave, e.g., annual leave or LWOP.
C. The number of days each week, pay period, or month an employee will work at an alternative worksite will vary depending on the individual arrangement made between the employee and the supervisor. Employees may work as few as one day per month or as many as five days per week for full time telework Subject to management discretion, participants in the telework program may be allowed as part of a telework agreement to work an Alternative Work Schedule (AWS). Management has the right to adjust an Employee’s AWS and/or telework schedule to meet business needs, operational demands, or mission related needs without the need for notification. Hours of Work and Leave. Employees performing work at a telework site will follow established procedures for requesting and obtaining approval of leave, consistent with Article 17 - Time and Leave. Employees performing work at the telework site are subject to the same maximum workday limits as they would be if they were performing work at the Official Duty Station (ODS), consistent with Article 15 - Hours of Work.
Hours of Work and Leave. 6.1 The Employee’s working hours are specified in Item 4b of the Schedule. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Employee may be required to work beyond normal business hours in order to fulfil his duties under this Agreement.
6.2 The Employee is entitled during the continuance of this Agreement to the annual leave set out in Item 11 of the Schedule (in addition to the usual public holidays) and at such time or times as may be mutually agreed between the Employee and the Directors or any other persons duly authorised by the Directors.
6.3 The Employee is entitled during the continuance of this Agreement to the annual medical leave for illness set out in Item 15 of the Schedule.

Employees performing work at the ADS are not authorized to work overtime or official compensatory time, except in special circumstances, for example, to meet priority needs of the Department. In such situations, prior approval must be obtained from the immediate supervisor. Employees are not authorized to work credit hours at the ADS. Employees performing work at the ADS will follow established procedures for requesting and obtaining approval of leave, consistent with Article 13, Time and Leave.
