MULTI-SKILLING AND JOB ROTATION. In recognition of the operational and efficiency requirements of the Employer and to create more varied and interesting work, it is a condition of employment that staff perform duties and functions for which they have the skills and training to perform. As the training of employees increases, additional tasks and functions may be required to be performed subject to the operational needs of the enterprise at all times. Where an employee is appointed to a position of work of higher grade duties for a fixed period, all work performed at the higher grade shall be paid at the higher grade of pay.

MULTI-SKILLING AND JOB ROTATION. 2.9.1 In recognition of the operational and efficiency requirements of the Employer, and to create more varied and interesting work, it is a condition of employment that staff may be requested to perform duties and functions for which they have the skills and training to perform. 2.9.2 As the training and skills of employees increase, additional tasks and functions may be required to be performed subject to the operational needs of the enterprise at all times. 2.9.3 On the condition that employees possess the required skills, the Employer may rotate an employee from one section of the Employer's business to another to perform functions outside of their usual duties. 2.9.4 Employees who perform higher grade duties for more than half of their rostered shift shall have their entire shift paid at the rate of pay applicable to that higher grade. Provided that where such higher duties are performed for less than half of the rostered shift, the employee shall be paid for the actual time worked at the higher rate. Higher grade employees who work at lower grade duties will be paid their ordinary rate notwithstanding they are doing lower grade duties.
MULTI-SKILLING AND JOB ROTATION. 2.5.1 In recognition of the operational and efficiency requirements of the Employer and to create more varied, better paid and interesting work for Employees, it shall be a condition of employment, subject to appropriate training and competency, that each Employee shall be available to work as required on any work within his/her skill, competence and training consistent with the Classification Structure of this Agreement (subject to prevailing statutory requirements) and that each Employee shall acquire the skills and learn any other job as directed and shall provide instruction and or training as appropriate to another Employee as required. 2.5.2 It shall also be a requirement of this Agreement that Employees will receive appropriate training and skill acquisition in order to perform a wider range of tasks through vertical and cross skilling and the opportunity to utilise such skills through systematic job rotation. 2.5.3 Any directions issued by the Employer pursuant to the provisions of this clause shall be consistent with the Employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
MULTI-SKILLING AND JOB ROTATION. In the interests of efficiency, flexibility and a harmonious workplace, employees agree to be available for any work in any Department or unit that is within their qualification and skill base. By agreement, employees will perform all work within the terms of the position held by that employee, including work at a lower level, and utilise such technology, resources and equipment as are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training, providing that there is no diminution of the skills of any employee. To facilitate flexibility in the arrangement of work, to encourage multi-skilling, to provide variety and diversity in work roles and functions, and to maintain a high quality standard, employees may, from time to time as determined by agreement, be rotated across the range of work functions within the organisation for an agreed period of time. Multi-skilling and job rotation will assist employees to develop and utilise new skills, maintain and/or improve existing skills, and increase their capacity to perform a wider range of roles to facilitate prompt and effective responses and services to customers. The employee’s substantive position will be retained, and their terms and conditions of employment will not be affected by any job rotation. Where an employee undertakes the functions of a lower classified position, he/she will not suffer any reduction in salary. This clause does not include secondments, which are administered through a separate policy.
MULTI-SKILLING AND JOB ROTATION. 2.9.1 In recognition of the operational and efficiency requirements of the Employer, and to create more varied and interesting work for Employees, it is a condition of employment, subject to the appropriate training and competency, that each Employee may be requested to perform duties and functions for which they have the skills and training to perform. 2.9.2 Accordingly, such Employees may be rotated from Department to Department and within departments, and perform functions that are normally outside their job description, as long as they have been given the training and acquired the competency to complete such tasks. If an Employee performs higher grade duties they will be paid at the higher rate for the time worked at that higher grade. No Employee will be disadvantaged by such rotation.

  • Felling and Bucking Felling shall be done to minimize breakage of Included Timber and dam- age to residual timber. Unless agreed otherwise, felling shall be done by saws or shears. Bucking shall be done to permit removal of all minimum pieces set forth in A2. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 4.1.1 The Power Producer shall give at least fifteen (15) days written notice to the SLDC / ALDC / DISCOM as the case may be, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System. 4.1.2 Subject to Article 4.1.1, the Power Project may be synchronized by the Power Producer to the Grid System when it meets all the connection conditions prescribed in the Grid Code and otherwise meets all other Indian legal requirements for synchronization to the Grid System. 4.1.3 The synchronization equipment and all necessary arrangements / equipment including Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for scheduling of power generated from the Project and transmission of data to the concerned authority as per applicable regulation shall be installed by the Power Producer at its generation facility of the Power Project at its own cost. The Power Producer shall synchronize its system with the Grid System only after the approval of GETCO / SLDC / ALDC and GEDA. 4.1.4 The Power Producer shall immediately after each synchronization / tripping of generator, inform the sub-station of the Grid System to which the Power Project is electrically connected in accordance with applicable Grid Code. 4.1.5 The Power Producer shall commission the Project within SCOD. 4.1.6 The Power Producer shall be required to obtain Developer and/ or Transfer Permission, Key Plan drawing etc, if required, from GEDA. In cases of conversion of land from Agricultural to Non-Agriculture, the commissioning shall be taken up by GEDA only upon submission of N.A. permission by the Power Producer. 4.1.7 The Power Producer shall be required to follow the Forecasting and Scheduling procedures as per the Regulations issued by Hon’ble GERC from time to time. It is to clarify that in terms of GERC (Forecasting, Scheduling, Deviation Settlement and Related Matters of Solar and Wind Generation Sources) Regulations, 2019 the procedures for Forecasting, Scheduling & Deviation Settlment are applicable to all solar generators having combined installed capacity above 1 MW connected to the State Grid / Substation including those connected via pooling stations.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Skidding and Yarding Methods of skid- ding or yarding specified for particular areas, if any, are indicated on Sale Area Map. Outside Clearcutting Units and construction clearings, insofar as ground conditions permit, products shall not be skidded against reserve trees or groups of reproduction and tractors shall be equipped with a winch to facilitate skidding. B6.421 Rigging. Insofar as practicable, needed rigging shall be slung on stumps or trees desig- nated for cutting.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with Employer policies and available resources. 9.2 Attendance at employer-required training will be considered time worked. The Employer will make reasonable attempts to schedule employer-required training during an employee’s regular work shift. The Employer will pay the registration and associated travel costs in accordance with Article 23, Travel, for employer-required training.

  • Green Economy/Carbon Footprint a) The Supplier/Service Provider has in its bid provided Transnet with an understanding of the Supplier’s/Service Provider’s position with regard to issues such as waste disposal, recycling and energy conservation.

  • Switching and Tagging Rules Each Party shall provide the other Parties a copy of its switching and tagging rules that are applicable to the other Parties’ activities. Such switching and tagging rules shall be developed on a non-discriminatory basis. The Parties shall comply with applicable switching and tagging rules, as amended from time to time, in obtaining clearances for work or for switching operations on equipment.

  • Start-Up and Synchronization Consistent with the mutually acceptable procedures of the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer is responsible for the proper synchronization of the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System in accordance with NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner procedures and requirements.

  • Manufacturing and Marketing Rights The Company has not granted rights to manufacture, produce, assemble, license, market, or sell its products to any other person and is not bound by any agreement that affects the Company's exclusive right to develop, manufacture, assemble, distribute, market, or sell its products.
