Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. The arrangement of ordinary hours of work for a full-time Employee will be implemented as follows: (a) An average of 38 ordinary hours per week or up to 152 ordinary hours in a 4 week cycle. (b) A maximum of 10 ordinary hours per day, provided that a driver employed shall work a maximum of 8 ordinary hours per day (provided that a driver engaged at Grade 3 Level 2 will have a maximum of 10 ordinary hours per day).
Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. Where there is implemented a 9/80 work schedule, nine (9) hours of work shall constitute a work day. For the purposes of clarifying this section, a 9/80 work schedule comprises completing eighty (80) hours of work within nine (9) working days with the tenth day off. The work week shall consist of seven (7) consecutive work days, split on the employee's 9/80 day off (for accounting and FLSA purposes only) including two (2) consecutive days off. Every other week, employees on a 9/80 work schedule shall enjoy a third day off. Otherwise, for the purpose of those working a 5/40 work schedule, the work week shall begin on Monday with Saturday as the first day off and Sunday the second day off. The City Manager may only authorize deviations from the work week, to include: 1. A work week beginning other than on Monday the last three (3) days of which shall be considered as the "first day off", "second day off", and "third day off" respectively. 2. A work week beginning on Monday or any other day of the week depending upon shift assignment. 3. Such additional hours, including work on holidays, as may be required by public necessity or convenience. 4. Employees will not be charged any time for a legal holiday which occurs on their 9 hour workday.
Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. (a) The normal hours of work for full-time employees covered by this agreement are 7½ hours per day and 37½ hours per week, except: (i) Dispatcher Planner – London Office Unit, (ii) Utility Services Clerk; Utility Administration Clerk; Drafter-Estimator – Waterloo Office Unit, (iii) Drafter-Estimator – Xxxxxxxx Office Unit whose normal hours of work are 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. (i) Local 758 - Day Worker is an employee assigned to work normally Monday through Friday, and daily schedules will be confined to the period between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Such employees will be granted a one-half or one hour unpaid lunch period. (ii) Locals 938, 999, 5, 914, 8833 - Day Worker is an employee assigned to work normally Monday through Friday and daily starting times will be between the period 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a. m. Such employees will be granted a 1/2 hour or 1 hour unpaid lunch break. (c) Shift Worker is an employee regularly assigned to work rotating shifts on days and hours other than Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. He or she works any five (5) consecutive days in the seven (7) day workweek in accordance with the work schedule. (d) Swing Shift Worker is defined as above in 11.10 (c) except that he or she is required to work any five (5) days in the seven (7) day workweek in accordance with the work schedule. (e) The hours of shift work will be as follows: Dispatcher-Planner “D” Shift 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. 4.2.1 The ordinary hours of work for full-time employees will be 152 hours per 4 week cycle plus reasonable additional hours as rostered or as requested. 4.2.2 The minimum ordinary hours will be no less than 2 hours per shift. The maximum ordinary hours will be no more than 12 hours per shift. This arrangement may be varied by mutual consent. 4.2.3 Ordinary daily working hours may be worked within a 16 hour spread per day. 4.2.4 Employees are entitled to at least 8 full days off work in each four week period. 4.2.5 Split shifts may be worked.
Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. 4.2.1 The ordinary hours of work for full-time employees will be an average of 38 hours per week, averaged over a 4 week period, or such longer period (up to 12 months) as agreed in writing, plus reasonable additional hours as rostered or as requested. 4.2.2 The minimum ordinary hours will be 2 hours per shift. The maximum ordinary hours will be 12 hours per shift, unless the employee requests additional hours. 4.2.3 Ordinary daily working hours may be worked within a 16 hour spread per day. 4.2.4 Employees are entitled to at least 8 full days off work in each four week period. 4.2.5 Split shifts may be worked.
Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. The workweek for full-time employees shall be comprised of 40 hours per week and the work shift will be either: (a) eight hours per day, five days per week; or (b) a 12 hour shift schedule as set out in Subsection (c) below. (c) In the case of employees working the 12 hour schedule, the following shall apply: (1) The 12 hour shift schedule will average 40 hours per week over an eight week period, with one four hour adjusted day and one 12 hour adjusted day off, to average 320 hours over the eight week period. A memorandum of agreement shall be entered into to give effect to establishing the designated adjusted days. (2) The accumulation of regular hours, as indicated on the shift schedule, shall be at regular rates of pay. (3) Daily overtime shall be calculated as any hours in excess of 12 hours in a regular day or any hours in excess of eight on an adjusted day. (4) Weekly overtime shall be calculated as any hours worked in excess of 320 hours within the designated eight week period. (d) Any changes to Subsection (a), (b) or (c) above, shall only be implemented where there is mutual agreement between the parties.
Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. 16.01 (a) It is agreed that the normal and recognized working hours of full−time employees in the bargaining unit shall be seventy−five (75) hours per bi−weekly pay period. It is to be noted that scheduled shifts are eight (8) consecutive hours unless by mutual agreement, and include a one−half (1ƒ2) hour unpaid lunch break.
Hours of Work - Full-time Employees. 17.01 It is hereby expressly understood and agreed that the provisions of this Article are for the purpose of computing overtime and shall not be construed to be a guarantee or limitation upon the hours of work to be done per day or per week or otherwise, nor as a guarantee of working schedules.

(c) All ordinary hours for full time day workers are to be worked between: i. 5.30 am until 7.00 pm Monday to Sunday for storepersons. ii. 4.00 am until 7.30 pm Monday to Sunday for drivers. iii. 6.00 am and 8.00 pm Sunday to Friday and 6.00 am and 1.30 pm Saturday for clerks or telephone sales clerks. Provided that where a Clerk works in association with other classes of employees who work ordinary hours outside the spread prescribed by this clause, the hours during which ordinary hours may be worked are as prescribed by the ordinary hours applying to the majority of the employees in the workplace.
