Job Vacancy Posting. The Port agrees to post examination announcements for represented positions on the official Port bulletin board outside of the Port Personnel Department. Announcements for examinations conducted by the Port Personnel Department will be posted no later than ten (10) working days before that application filing date. Announcements for examinations conducted by the City of Oakland Personnel Department will be posted one (1) day after receipt from the Port of Oakland. Examination announcements and application forms for represented positions will be available through the Port Personnel Department. The Port will also transmit and post, as soon as possible, copies of examination announcements for represented positions at the Harbor Facilities office, Construction Department office, the Airport Facilities office, the Main Port Building at 000 Xxxxx Xxxxxx, and Building M104 at the South Airport. In addition, the Port will transmit copies of examination announcements for represented positions to the Union as soon as possible. The posting sites may be changed by mutual agreement.

Job Vacancy Posting. 9.1.1 All unit vacancies shall be posted on bulletin boards at each work site and a copy sent via electronic mail to all bargaining unit members by the District not less than seven (7) days at designated work locations prior to being permanently filled. Any employee may apply for a vacant position with the Human Resources Department. Bargaining unit transfer requests shall be considered pursuant to Article 10 prior to any hiring process being initiated by the District. 9.1.2 For the purpose of this provision, a unit vacancy is any unit position which is new, vacated or which remains unfilled for more than sixty (60) calendar days. Posting does not apply to any unit position held by a unit member who is on an approved leave and has rights to return to their position (for example, a unit member on sick leave, extended sick leave, Industrial Accident and Illness Leave, workers’ compensation, Family Medical Leave, etc.). 9.1.3 Applicants who meet the job vacancy qualifications and the District-established guidelines of the screening process will be eligible for an interview. 9.1.4 Any employee on leave or layoff who has requested notification of a specific job vacancy and has provided a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Human Resources Department will be mailed a notice of such vacancy. 9.1.5 A unit member has the option of taking a written test for any position in the District even if that position currently does not have a vacancy. The test may only be taken once in a six (6) month period, unless a new vacancy occurs and you are invited to re-test. The most recent score on the current test will be the prevailing score. For the purposes of this section, employees shall use their personal time. 9.1.6 The District shall take into consideration seniority when all else is equal. 9.1.7 The CSEA Chapter President shall be notified a minimum of five (5) working days prior to all interviews.
Job Vacancy Posting. 21.4.1 NLSLA shall post, via email, an announcement of all non-temporary bargaining unit vacancies in each NLSLA office simultaneous with distributing notice of vacancy outside the office or publishing advertisements.   • JOB POSTING The following provision will appear in all collective agreements replacing any related provision that existed in the hospital's expiring collective agreement: (Any provision pertaining to definition of temporary vacancies, non-bargaining unit applications, outside advertising, interim placements or criteria for selection except as it relates to promotions and transfers that existed in the hospital's expiring collective agreement will be continued as the last paragraph of this Article). "Where a permanent vacancy occurs in a classification within the bargaining unit or a new position within the bargaining unit is established by the Hospital, such vacancy shall be posted for a period of seven (7) consecutive calendar days. Applications for such vacancy shall be made in writing within the seven (7) day period referred to herein. The postings shall stipulate the qualifications, classifications, rate of pay, department and shift and a copy shall be provided to the Chief Xxxxxxx.   • Job Postings The employee may apply for a job posting at either home based on their seniority at the designated employer. The vacancy will be filled in accordance with Article 9 of the collective agreement.   • Posting of Vacancies Vacancies occurring during the school year may be temporarily filled to avoid undue disruption of the educational program. The procedures in this section will be followed for filling vacancies for a subsequent school year. A notice setting forth information that accurately describes the vacancy shall be posted electronically. Except in cases of emergency, the vacancy will not be filled until seven (7) calendar days have elapsed since delivery and posting of the notice as set forth above has occurred. Where specific training, experience, and other qualifications are a prerequisite for anyone to fill the vacancy, such requirement shall be set forth in the notice. Reassignments within a school building may occur prior to posting a vacancy. The Association president or designee is concurrently given written notice of any such reassignment. The Association president or designee shall be copied on all Schedule B vacancy emails within a building. All bargaining unit member’s written interest shall be acknowledged in writing by the appropriate administrator. 3. Principals shall annually reopen Schedule B positions which are currently filled by non- bargaining unit members to all bargaining unit members in their school building for seven (7) calendar days before the end of the school year. 4. Vacancies occurring during the school year may be temporarily filled to avoid undue disruption of the educational program. 5. Preference shall be given to a bargaining unit member over a non-bargaining unit member when both are equally qualified. In order to afford elementary bargaining unit members the opportunity to perform extra tasks such as ticket-taking, such semester or seasonal jobs will first be emailed to bargaining unit members within a building and if not filled, will then be posted on the District website for all bargaining unit members before such work is offered to non-bargaining unit staff or persons not employed by the District.
