Overtime allowance. 1. An employee whose salary is determined in accordance with one of the job grades 1 to 10 and who works overtime on the instructions of the employer will be granted an allowance, except as provided for in paragraph 3 of this article.
2. ‘Overtime’ is understood to mean work carried out outside the daily working hours determined for the employee, in so far as these working hours will be exceeded as a result.
3. No allowance will be granted for overtime worked for less than one hour following on from the daily working hours determined for the employee. An employee may only work overtime on the instructions of the employer.
4. Except when irregular hours are worked, as referred to in article H-8, the overtime allowance will consist of: a leave, equivalent to the number of hours exceeding the daily working hours determined for the employee, and b a sum of money which, for each hour exceeding these working hours, is equivalent to a percentage of the employee’s hourly salary, with the proviso that the sum of money for overtime worked on Mondays to Fridays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. will only be granted in so far as the number of working hours in the case of standard full-time employment are exceeded as a result of the employee working overtime.
5. The allowance will be granted as soon as possible but as a rule not later than in the calendar month following the calendar month in which the working hours were exceeded, in which respect the wishes of the employee will be taken into account as much as possible. Article G-2 applies in this respect.
6. The employer may determine that, instead of granting leave, as referred to in paragraph 4(a) of this article, a sum of money equivalent to the employee's hourly salary will be granted for each hour.
7. The percentage referred to in paragraph 4(b) is: a except as specified under b and c: overtime worked: Saturdays and Sundays Mondays to Fridays between midnight and 6 a.m. between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. between 10 p.m. and midnight 100 50 100 50 25 50 b 50 if more than two hours of overtime were worked, in so far as this overtime was worked after the first two hours on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., except as specified under c. c 100 if the overtime was worked on a non-working day that is not a Sunday, or on the following day between midnight and 6 a.m.
Overtime allowance. 2.1 Recognising that the work of Ministerial Chauffeurs can be irregular and unpredictable in response to operational work requirements, the following provision applies in lieu of clauses 5.2A1, 5.2A.2, 5.2A.3 and 5.2A.4

1. If work is performed at the instructions of the Employer that means that the length of the working week in accordance with the applicable duty roster is exceeded based on the provisions in article 15, overtime is involved.
2. Overtime shall only be involved for a part-time Employee if this Employee works more hours that the duty rooster specified for him/her and when the normal length of the working week per day or week of an Employee with full-time employment is exceeded.
3. If the business conditions allow this in the opinion of the Employer, overtime shall be compensated with time off in lieu at the request of the Employee. The time off in lieu to be compensated shall match the number of hours in overtime. The Employer and Employee shall determine in consultation when the time off in lieu shall be taken.
Overtime allowance. Overtime allowance of 50% shall be paid for the first 3 hours. Subsequent hours release an allowance of 100%.
Overtime allowance. Section Managers This sub-clause applies to employees engaged as Section Managers. Section Managers will be paid an allowance for working reasonable overtime, instead of receiving overtime pay.
15.2.1 A per annum allowance as set out in the Allowances Table of this Agreement will be paid in lieu of reasonable overtime worked.
15.2.2 The overtime allowance will be indexed in accordance with any increases determined under this Agreement.
15.2.3 The overtime allowance will be paid on a pro-rata basis per week.
15.2.4 Overtime payment and leave in lieu of unreasonable additional hours Where there is prior agreement between the Section Manager and their Group Manager and/or the General Manager, a Section Manager directed to work hours that are deemed to be unreasonable under sub-clause 11.2 Hours of Work – Section Managers, may elect either to be paid the appropriate overtime rate for each hour worked, or be granted time in lieu equivalent to the actual hours worked.

Overtime allowance. In the event of overtime, an allowance of 25 % in addition to the usual hourly wage applies. The overtime allowance and the allowance for special hours, as referred to in Article 20 paragraph 1, may accumulate.

4. The Employee shall receive the normal Hourly Wage in terms of time or money for every worked hour of overtime. In addition, the Employee must receive the following allowance percentage for each overtime hour worked: • Hours on Monday up to and including Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.: 40% of the Hourly Wage; • Hours on Monday up to and including Friday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.: 60% of the Hourly Wage; • Hours on Saturdays: 60% of the Hourly Wage; • Hours on Sundays: 100% of the Hourly Wage; • Hours on public holidays with the exception of 5 May without prejudice to the provisions in article 25: 100% of the Hourly Wage. These allowances include the holiday allowance (article 30).
5. Overtime payment is not due to Employees who are classified in job category H and higher.
6. If the Employee in accordance with his/her rooster normally works on Saturdays, he/she shall receive the overtime allowance as determined for the Saturday in paragraph 3 in case of overtime on his/her replacement rooster-free day.
7. The Employer must carefully consider the business interests and Employee interests such as health issues and care obligations, for example, in relation to shifts after consulting the Employee when asking for overtime or additional work (part-time Employee). The decision must be notified whilst providing reasons.
Overtime allowance. Long Distance Work The Overtime Allowance of 20%, which is provided for in the Long Distance Driving rates set out in Table 9.1, compensates the employee for overtime.
