Paid Carer’s Leave. (a) An Employee (other than a casual) will be entitled to use Cumulative Personal Leave each year as Xxxxx’s Leave to provide care and support for an immediate family or household member (Xxxxx’s Leave) because of:
(i) a personal illness, or injury; or
(ii) an unexpected emergency.
(b) Where requested by the Employer in advance, the Employee will establish by production of a medical certificate or statutory declaration, the nature of the illness, injury, or emergency and that the illness, injury, or emergency is such to require care.
(c) In normal circumstances, an Employee will not take Xxxxx’s Leave under this clause where another person has taken leave to care for the same person.
(d) The Employee will, wherever practicable, give the Employer notice prior to the absence of their intention to take Xxxxx’s Leave, the name of the person requiring care and their relationship to the Employee, the reason for taking such leave and the estimated length of absence. If it is not practicable for the Employee to give prior notice of absence, the Employee will notify the Employer by telephone of such absence at the first opportunity on the day of absence.
Paid Carer’s Leave a) An employee is entitled to paid xxxxx’s leave to provide care and support for members of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household who need the employee’s care and support when they are ill or injured, or in the case of an unexpected emergency affecting the employee.
b) The maximum entitlement of paid xxxxx’s leave is 10 days per annum. Provided that paid xxxxx’s leave is not in addition to paid sick leave under Clause 27.1.
c) The employer may require an employee to establish by the production of a medical certificate, the illness or injury of the member of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household, and that the illness or injury is such as to require care by the employee.
d) The employer may require an employee to establish by the production of a statutory declaration, the details of the unexpected emergency entailing a member of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household and that the emergency is such as to require the care and support by the employee.
Paid Carer’s Leave. To be entitled to paid xxxxx’s leave an Employee must provide the Employer with notice and documentary evidence from a duly qualified registered health practitioner as soon as reasonably possible, or other document suitable to the Employer, such as a statutory declaration which in the case of xxxxx’s leave would usually be prior to an Employee taking the time off work. The document must state that for the duration of the carer’s leave the Employee is required to provide care or support to a member of their immediate family (as defined in Clause 1.7) or household.
a) that in the opinion of the registered health practitioner’s opinion, the member of the Employee’s immediate family or household has a personal illness or injury during the period away from work;
b) that the Employee is required to be the care giver;
c) the time the Employee will be away from the workplace due to illness or injury.
a) that the Employee required leave during the period to provide care or support to a member of their immediate family or household, because the member requires or required care or support during the period because of a personal illness or injury of the member, or an unexpected emergency affecting the member.

Provided that where the Employer has sufficient cause to believe that the claim for carer’s leave payment is not valid, the Employer may require proof of such sickness or illness. Further provided that where an Employee takes carer’s leave immediately before or after a weekend, statutory holiday or rostered day off they may be required to provide the necessary documentary evidence.
Paid Carer’s Leave a) Subject to the provisions of the Workplace Relations Act 1996, an employee is entitled to take accrued personal leave (up to a limit of 10 days of xxxxx's leave in any 12 month period) to provide care or support to a member of their immediate family or household who requires care or support because of a personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency.
b) The employee shall give the employer notice of the requirement and reasons for taking xxxxx's leave as soon as reasonably practicable and other than in extraordinary circumstances within four hours of the commencement of such leave.
c) In the case of care because of an illness or injury the employee shall provide a medical certificate or statutory declaration. In the case of an unexpected emergency the employee shall provide a statutory declaration. The medical certificate or statutory declaration must state that the person concerned was ill or injured during the period, or that there was an unexpected emergency affecting the person.
d) If the employee does not satisfy the criteria set out in this clause, the employee's personal leave application will not be approved and the leave will be unauthorised and unpaid

Paid Carer’s Leave. Subject to the provisions of this section and the Workplace Relations Act 1996, an employee is entitled to take accrued personal leave (up to a limit of 10 days of xxxxx's leave in any 12 month period) to provide care or support to a member of their immediate family or a member of their household who requires care or support because of:
a) A personal illness or injury; or
Paid Carer’s Leave. Subject to the provisions of this section and the Workplace Relations Act (Cth) 1996, an employee is entitled to take accrued personal leave (up to a limit of 10 days of carer's leave in any 12 month period) to provide care or support to a member of their immediate family or a member of their household who requires care or support because of:
(a) a personal illness or injury;
(b) an unexpected emergency. The employee shall, if required by the Company, produce a medical certificate or statutory declaration made by the employee for the illness or injury of the person concerned, or in the case of an unexpected emergency, a statutory declaration. The term “immediate family” includes: • a spouse (including a former spouse, a de facto spouse or former de facto spouse) of the employee. A de facto spouse, of an employee, means a person who lives with the employee as a husband or wife on a genuine domestic basis although not legally married to the employee; and • a child or an adult child (including an adopted child, or a step child), a parent, a grandparent, a grandchild or a sibling of the employee or of the employee's spouse. The employee shall give the employer notice of the requirement and reasons for taking carer's leave as soon as reasonably practicable, preferably prior to the intention to take leave.
Paid Carer’s Leave annual limit
34.7.1 The employee is not entitled to take paid xxxxx’s leave, if during the 12 months ending at the time, the employee has already taken a total amount of paid carer’s leave of 1/26 of the nominal hours worked by the employee. This amount of leave is equivalent to 10 days of paid carer’s leave where an employee works 38 hours per week over a 12 month period.
Paid Carer’s Leave. For absences to provide care and support for members of their immediate family or members of their household who require their care and support when they are ill or injured or affected by an unexpected emergency, an Employee shall be entitled to: 34.3.1
Paid Carer’s Leave. (a) The entitlement to take carer's leave is subject to the person in respect of whom the leave is taken being either:
(i) a member of the employee's immediate family, as defined above; or
(ii) a member of the employee's household.
(b) An employee is entitled to use any of his or her accrued personal leave as xxxxx's leave to provide care and support for members of the employees' immediate family or household who suffer illness or injury, or are affected by an unexpected emergency, and require care and support. This entitlement is subject to the employee being responsible for the care and support of the person concerned.
(c) The employee shall, if required, establish by production of a medical certificate or other evidence satisfactory to the employer, the illness or injury of the person concerned or the relevant emergency and that the illness, injury or emergency leads to the need for care by another.
(d) In normal circumstances an employee shall not take carer's leave under this clause where another person has taken leave to care for the same person.
(e) The employee shall, wherever practicable, give the Employer notice prior to the absence of the intention to take leave, the name of the person requiring care and their relationship to the employee, the reason for taking such leave and the estimated length of absence. If it is not practicable for the employee to give prior notice of absence, the employee shall notify the Employer by telephone of such absences at the first opportunity on the day of absence.
