Shift Work Rosters. Shift rosters shall specify the commencing and finishing times of ordinary working hours of the respective shifts.
Shift Work Rosters. The shift roster, commencement and finishing times may be altered by agreement between the Company and the majority of affected employees. In the absence of agreement, the Company may give seven days' notice of such alterations or in cases of changes necessitated by circumstances outside the control of the Company by 24 hours notice.
Shift Work Rosters. Shift work rosters shall be posted on the notice boards and shall specify the commencing and finishing times of ordinary hours and the respective shifts. In circumstances where a day worker works on a shift work task for the whole day, then the meal break for such day work employees shall be inclusive of ordinary hours. Where a scope of work being undertaken by a temporary shift crew, and a day worker has been assigned to work on that scope on a given day, the day worker will receive a paid meal break.
Shift Work Rosters. 5.5.3.1 The hours of work of employees on shift work will consist of a maximum of 38 hours worked as set out below. Subject to the exemption provided below, ordinary hours of work shall not exceed eight hours per day each continuously (except for crib breaks) on one of the following bases:
Shift Work Rosters. Employees placed on the shift roster shall not have their roster changed by the Employer without 48 hours notice of such change or payment is made at time and one half rates for ordinary time worked until such 48 hours notice would have expired. Such extra rate shall be in substitution for the shift allowance.
Shift Work Rosters. (a) Shift work rosters must specify the commencing and finishing times of ordinary working hours of the respective shifts.
(b) Employees must be given at least seven days’ notice of any change to their shift work rosters unless the shift work rosters are varied by agreement between the Company and the majority of employees in the area concerned.
(c) If an employee on shift work is required to change his/her roster, the employee must be given at least two days’ notice of the change. If the required notice is not given, the employee must be paid for the shifts worked during this period at the rate of double time. An employee required to transfer to another base with less than two days’ notice for a period of more than two days is deemed to have changed his/her roster.
(d) In accordance with this Agreement, each shift will be paid for at the rate applicable to the day on which the major portion of the shift is worked.
Shift Work Rosters. (i) A Shift Worker may be requested to work a variety of different start/finish times in a four week cycle.
(ii) Shift Workers will work according to pre-determined rosters.
(iii) Shift Workers may, with their Manager’s approval, swap shifts to suit personal needs, provided that IAG does not incur any additional costs as a result of the shift swap.
(iv) IAG will provide at least 48 hours notice of a change to a Rostered Shift unless the change is the result of an emergency or absence of a Shift Worker. If less than 48 hours notice is given, then the Shift Worker shall be paid for the shift in accordance with overtime rates as set out in clause 4.7 of the Agreement. In this case, the overtime rates are in substitution for and not in addition to any applicable shift loadings prescribed for the relevant shift.
Shift Work Rosters. (a) A shift worker's roster cycle will provide for an average of thirty-eight (38) ordinary hours per week over a roster period not exceeding ten (10) weeks.
(b) There shall be a roster which shall provide for rotation unless it is agreed otherwise by Unitywater and majority of affected team members or Unitywater and an individual team member. In the absence of agreement, by the giving of twenty-eight (28) days' notice by Unitywater to the team members concerned a roster shall be developed and implemented.
Shift Work Rosters. 20.6.1 Employees shall be given 24 hours notice prior to the altering or changing of a normal shift.
20.6.2 An employee who has not worked a complete twenty-day four-week cycle shall receive pro-rata accrued entitlements for each day worked or regarded as having been worked in such cycle payable for the rostered day off or in the case of termination of employment on termination.
Shift Work Rosters. 23.2.1 The hours of work of employees on shift work shall be an average of 38 per week. Subject to the exemption hereinafter provided, ordinary hours of work shall not exceed eight hours per day (or ten hours per day when the roster is similar to that described in 19.3.2 hereof) continuously (except for crib breaks) on one of the following basis:
23.2.1 (a) 38 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 7 consecutive days; or 23.2.1(b) 76 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 14 consecutive days; or 23.2.1(c) 114 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 21 consecutive days; or 23.2.1(d) 152 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 28 consecutive days.
23.2.2 Such hours of work shall be implemented in the manner provided for in 19.5, 19.6, 19.7, 19.8, 19.9 and 19.10 and shall be subject to the provisions of 19.4, 19.11, and 19.12 of this Agreement.
23.2.3 Crib time on any shift shall be at the time fixed by the Employer and shall not be varied except in an emergency and with the consent of the employee; provided, however, that an employee shall not be required to work more than five and a half hours without a crib.
23.2.4 There shall be a roster which shall provide for rotation unless by agreement between the Employer and the majority of employees affected.
23.2.5 Shift rosters shall specify the commencing and finishing times of ordinary hours of respective shifts. A copy of such shift roster shall be kept posted in a prominent place. Such roster shall not be altered unless 48 hours notice is given.
