Standard Assurances. The Subgrantee assures and certifies that it will comply with the regulations, policies, guidelines, and requirements, including 2 CFR, Part 200; and the Department's Traffic Safety Program Manual, as they relate to the application, acceptance, and use of federal or state funds for this project. Also, the Subgrantee assures and certifies that: A. It possesses legal authority to apply for the grant; and that a resolution, motion, or similar action has been duly adopted or passed as an official act of the applicant's governing body, authorizing the filing of the application, including all understandings and assurances contained in the application, and directing and authorizing the person identified as the official representative of the applicant to act in connection with the application and to provide any additional information that may be required. B. It and its subcontractors will comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Public Law 88-352), as amended, and in accordance with that Act, no person shall discriminate, on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, age, religion, or disability. C. It will comply with requirements of the provisions of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisitions Act of 1970, as amended; 42 USC (United States Code) §§4601 et seq.; and United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) regulations, "Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition for Federal and Federally Assisted Programs," 49 CFR, Part 24, which provide for fair and equitable treatment of persons displaced as a result of federal and federally assisted programs. D. Political activity (Hatch Act) (applies to subrecipients as well as States). The State will comply with provisions of the Hatch Act (5 U.S.C. 1501-1508) which limits the political activities of employees whose principal employment activities are funded in whole or in part with Federal funds. E. It will comply with the federal Fair Labor Standards Act's minimum wage and overtime requirements for employees performing project work. F. It will establish safeguards to prohibit employees from using their positions for a purpose that is or gives the appearance of being motivated by a desire for private gain for themselves or others, particularly those with whom they have family, business, or other ties. Standard Assurances. The GOVERNMENTAL BODY assures that it will comply with all applicable federal statutes, regulations, executive orders, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) circulars, and other federal requirements in carrying out any project supported by federal funds. The GOVERNMENTAL BODY recognizes that federal laws, regulations, policies, and administrative practices may be modified from time to time and those modifications may affect project implementation. All contracts, whether funded in whole or in part with either Federal or State funds, are subject to Federal requirements and regulations, including but not limited to 2 CFR Part 200, 44 Ill. Admin. Code 7000.30(b) and the Financial Management Standards in Paragraph 7.9.

(August 11, 2000), all provisions required by the implementing regulations of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (7 CFR Part 15 et seq); and FNS directives and guidelines to the effect that no person shall, on the ground of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which the Agency receives Federal financial assistance from FNS; and hereby gives assurance that it will immediately take measures necessary to effectuate this agreement. By providing this assurance, the Market agrees to compile data, maintain records and submit records and reports as required to permit effective enforcement of the nondiscrimination laws, and to permit Department personnel during normal working hours to review and copy such records, books and accounts, access such facilities, and interview such personnel as needed to ascertain compliance with the non-discrimination laws. If there are any violations of this assurance, the Department of Agriculture shall have the right to seek judicial enforcement of this assurance. Standard Assurances. A. The CONTRACTOR shall comply with statutes, regulations, and policies set by the following: Federal Department of Health and Human Services, Federal Administration on Aging, the New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA), and the County of Oneida, more fully described in APPENDIX A. B. The CONTRACTOR shall comply with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Nondiscrimination) which states, "No otherwise qualified handicapped individual in the United States shall solely, by reason of his or her handicap, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." The CONTRACTOR agrees that any program, public information materials, or other printed or published materials on the work of or funded by CSEP/III-E will give due recognition to the New York State Office for the Aging and the Oneida County Office for the Aging. The statement shall be in font which is one of the following: in italics, or at least two font sizes larger than the rest of the text, or in bold font or underlined. (i.e., “This program is supported by Oneida County Office for the Aging and Continuing Care, New York State Office for the Aging, and the Administration on Aging.”). The CONTRACTOR should forward copies of all materials to the COUNTY at the end of each month. F. The COUNTY shall conduct a program review to ensure that the CONTRACTOR is in compliance with all standards and regulations as set forth in this Agreement.
Standard Assurances. Each subrecipient must assure that it will comply with the regulations, policies, guidelines, and requirements imposed by the Federal grantor agency and MDOC. The subrecipient is responsible for being familiar with the standard assurances policy for the granting program and funding source under which a subaward is issued and adhering to it throughout the life of the subaward. The standard assurances listed in this section may not be applicable to each project or grant, and there may be additional standard assurances required by certain federal awarding agencies. Subrecipient assures that it: 1. Shall comply with the ARRA requirement to identify ARRA funds in the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards.
Standard Assurances. The Applicant assures that it will comply with all applicable Federal statutes and regulations in carrying out any project supported by an FTA grant or cooperative agreement. The Applicant agrees that it is under a continuing obligation to comply with the terms and conditions of the FTA grant agreement or cooperative agreement, including the FTA / ADOT Master Agreement that is incorporated by reference and made part of the latest amendment to its grant agreement or cooperative agreement with FTA issued for its project. The Applicant recognizes that Federal laws and regulations may be modified from time to time and those modifications may affect project implementation. The Applicant understands that Presidential executive orders and Federal directives, including Federal policies and program guidance may be issued concerning matters affecting the Applicant or its project. The Applicant agrees that the most recent Federal laws, regulations, and directives will apply to the project, unless FTA issues a written determination otherwise.

Standard Assurances. The certifications in this subcategory appear as part of the applicant’s registration or annual registration renewal in the System for Award Management (XXX.xxx) and on the Office of Management and Budget’s standard form 424B “Assurances—Non-Construction Programs”. This certification has been modified in places to include analogous certifications required by U.S. DOT statutes or regulations. (a) Has the legal authority to apply for Federal assistance and the institutional, managerial and financial capability (including funds sufficient to pay the non-Federal share of project cost) to ensure proper planning, management and completion of the project described in this application.
