Stipend Positions. 13.6.1 No later than September 25, the site administrator shall post the positions and stipends. A minimum of five (5) workdays shall elapse between the posting of the positions and the selection of the applicants. 13.6.2 Stipends appropriated through categorical funding shall be approved in the manner required by the existing categorical regulations. 13.6.3 Duties for which stipends shall be paid are the following extra stipend positions listed in Article 13, Section 13.6.3.1, if they are performed in addition to the regular teaching assignment. With agreement of the Teacher and principal, the stipend may either be taken as additional salary and/or release time at the present daily substitute rate of pay and/or discretionary money for supplies or conferences for that Teacher. Earned release time shall not exceed five (5) days per school year. Should said agreement be made regarding the scheduling of a release day, the Teacher shall make every effort so that said day is scheduled a minimum of two (2) weeks in advance.

Stipend Positions. Any stipend position vacated and available after the teaching staff has been offered them will be made available for application to the Paraprofessional staff. All Paraprofessionals shall have the opportunity to apply and interview for available positions before they are offered to any other district employee or community member.
Stipend Positions. Department Chair and Instructional coordinator stipends are set forth in Appendix B. The stipend schedule determines the frequency and rate of compensations. The District and site administration determine the need for support of a bargaining unit member for any stipend position. Xxxxxxxx will be paid on a monthly basis as earned. Members completing a portion of the stipend duration will be compensated on a prorated basis. Coaching stipends will be issued as earned on a monthly basis and athletic events beyond the regular season will be compensated on a prorated basis based on weeks of the regular season.
Stipend Positions. On an annual basis, the Superintendent will post a list of teacher leadership positions that the district wishes to fill for the upcoming school year. All appointments are for one year only. The Association recognizes that the Superintendent has the right not to fill any of these stipend positions in any year due to budgetary constraints, and the parties agree that any position delineated in this article can be eliminated at any time. The Superintendent may add positions providing compensation for such positions align with the other positions included in this article. The Superintendent will discuss the establishment of such position(s) with the Co-Presidents of the Association. See Stipend Scale contained in Exhibit D. 27.1 TEAM LEADERS Building-based Team Leaders will be appointed for each grade level preschool through grade 8 and the Specialist Teams and will receive a stipend according to the stipend scale. When existing stipend positions have been filled by the same person for three or more years, the Superintendent and Principals will incorporate the value of rotating new leadership into stipended positions against the value of accumulated experience. Team Leaders report to the Principal/Preschool Coordinator. Student Services Team Leaders will be appointed on each campus unless a student services department member functions in the role as a grade level team leader. When a student services member is appointed as a Student Services Team Leader, the stipend will be adjusted to reflect the absence of team meeting facilitation.
Stipend Positions. Stipend positions will have a written job description. Teachers will be encouraged to express interest for consideration of available positions. Supervisors of the program will develop, and implement, a method of evaluation based upon the job description.

Stipend Positions. The following stipends for extra duty compensation have been established. Should the Board of Education establish a new stipend position, the salary for that position is subject to negotiations with the Association. However, the Board of Education retains the right to determine the number of positions within any increment category. Priority will be given to ISBE licensed staff members when filling stipend positions. If a staff member is unable to fulfill, for any reason, all duties of a stipend position, the stipend will be prorated accordingly. The building administrator will fill the vacant stipend position in accordance with this agreement.
Stipend Positions. A. Each stipend is derived by multiplying the salary listed in the BA column, step 1 of each contract year by the negotiated Index Rate. The negotiated Index Rate is based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to: number of students, time involved, number of meetings during the school year, length of meetings, travel requirements, etc. B. 1. The Superintendent, School Committee, and the Administrative Team will decide each year which stipend positions will be funded. In the event that the School Committee provides for any or all of the following stipend positions and provided that any or all such positions are filled, the amount of the stipends shall be as indicated in paragraph 7 below. 2. Persons appointed to stipend positions are eligible for reappointment subject to satisfactory performance, as determined in annual performance evaluations. Stipend positions will be advertised and posted annually. 3. If a position is created which is not set forth in paragraph 9 below, the Superintendent may establish a temporary rate for such position and proceed to post and fill the position. The District and Association will meet to establish the final rate in accordance with the established Rate Index for like clubs, activities or coaching positions. Said agreement shall be reduced to writing in the form of a Memorandum of Agreement which will serve as an addendum to this contract. 4. Stipends and/or positions can only be shared upon recommendation of the Building Principal and/or Athletic Director with approval of the Superintendent, and once all paperwork has been completed. 5. Appointees to Exhibit B positions shall have the pay incorporated into the bi-weekly pay. Appointees to Exhibit C positions shall be paid a lump sum at the conclusion of the activity for the school year. 6. The Superintendent or his/her designee and the LEA President or his/her designee shall meet no later than October 31st of each year to review and update the list of stipend positions in Exhibits B and C. The parties shall rewrite these exhibits as necessary to accurately reflect the positions each year. The rewritten exhibits shall replace the current exhibits in the collective bargaining agreement. 7. All stipends indicated in the Exhibits are for the entire period of time that each activity requires, from the first day through the last day, including post-season experiences. 8.
