Teachers have the right to enter material in their own file with the approval of the person in charge of such files. In the event that any materials concerning a teacher’s conduct, service, character, or personality has a negative reflection upon a teacher, the teacher shall have the right to submit, incorporate, and place on file a two 8½ x 11 page rebuttal provided that it is signed and dated by the teacher. Requests not initially approved may be renewed at two-years intervals.
