Workplace Training. Unit members will be paid for all District-sponsored workplace trainings authorized for substitute teachers. The school district shall collaborate with the union on training subjects prior to the new school year with continual discussions on training subjects throughout the year.

Where the Company requires the Employee to travel to a training course the company will pay all reasonable expenses incurred.
41.4 The Company has a Skills and Training Matrix (Training Needs Analysis) to identify the specific training needs of each Project based on current operational requirements which is maintained and monitored on a regular basis. The Company will discuss the Matrix with the affected Employees and their Representatives.
41.5 Where training opportunities arise the Company will notify Employees. Employees may submit an Expression of Interest in order to be considered for the training.
41.6 The selection process for training opportunities for Employees will occur in accordance with an Application for Training. Length of service will be one criterion to be considered for selection of training opportunities. Senior Supervisors and the MME position will be responsible for the selection and approval of the successful training applicants. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified in writing and be provided with the reasons for their non-selection.
Workplace Training. 6.1.1. Xxxxxx is committed to providing ongoing skills training to employees as per the operational requirements of the Mine and requests for training will receive genuine consideration.
6.1.2. The expected outcome of any training is aimed at maintaining and/or improving the required skills, efficiency, and flexibility of the employee and to continuously improve the productivity at the Mine.
6.1.3. Thiess will conduct annual performance reviews with employees. The purpose of the reviews will be to provide insight into assessed levels of performance (with a focus on areas of strength and areas of improvement), and to discuss training preferences / opportunities for the year ahead. Wherever operationally practicable following performance reviews, employees will be given training preference over contractors or labour hire personnel.

6.1.8. Where an Employees undertakes inductions and training courses at the request / initiative of Xxxxxx and such inductions and training occurs outside of working hours, Employees will be paid at the applicable overtime rate for the hours spent at training or induction.
6.1.9. Time spent travelling to and from the induction and training course will be paid at the relevant Base Hourly Rate. Where Xxxxxx requires the Employee to travel to an induction and training course, Xxxxxx will pay all reasonable expenses incurred.

Workplace Training. Producer shall provide Personnel with all work place training, instruction, and education under any applicable law and collective bargaining agreements, including, but not limited to, sexual harassment and equal employment opportunity training and education under California Government Code § 12950.1 and workplace health and safety training and instruction under California Labor Code § 6300 et seq. Producer shall document such training and education in accordance with applicable law and shall maintain copies of such training and education records and provide such records to Employer upon request. Producer shall defend, indemnify and hold Employer Entities harmless from and against any and all Claims arising out of or relating to any failure by Producer to satisfy any of its obligations under this Paragraph 15.

(b) TheTACmayapprove up to 5 days paid leave perannum orup to10days paid leave within a 24 month period, for attendance at such training, provided that the granting of such leave will not unduly affect the TAC's operational requirements. The TAC will not unreasonably refuse the granting of such training leave.
