AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS AGREEMENT. A. This Agreement will provide certainty for three years from the date of ratification for Council, employees and their unions regarding:
i) employment arrangements and conditions;
ii) consultative processes, joint problem-solving and dispute resolution procedures, with a strong focus on resolution at the local level; and
iii) continuous improvement and delivery of better value while providing secure employment.
B. Working together, we aim through the implementation of this Agreement to:
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS AGREEMENT. The Parties have agreed that with the implementation of a 15 week roster system and this Agreement, the Parties and all employees covered by this Agreement will collectively seek to achieve the following: • Enhanced teamwork culture and environment. • Enhanced co-operation between all team members. • Enhanced skill development opportunities and a willingness by personnel to obtain and apply a broader range and higher level of skills, including a willingness to assist other team members to obtain and learn new skills. • Enhanced flexibility in the way work activities are carried out. • Enhanced flexibility in work hours beyond normal hours when required. • Enhanced employee job satisfaction and morale. • Improved productivity by: o the retention of experienced personnel. o the reduced need for casual employees. o the reduced need to train and familiarise new casual employees. o the reduced need for administrative time on managing new casual employees. o the reduced need for over cycle arrangements. o the new rostered leave arrangements. o Improved health and safety performance outcomes. o Employees willingness to work additional days when rostered employees unable to report for duty.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS AGREEMENT. 10.1. The Parties of the Agreement acknowledge the objective through consultation and participation of long term, real and sustainable performance improvement based on industry best practice and international competitiveness that will provide return on investment, rewarding jobs and security for all employees.
10.2. The Employer, its employees and the Union will commit to increasing the Employer’s profitability by an ongoing process of consultation to identify areas of possible improvement of production and work practices and supporting the implementation of change to achieve them.
10.3. The Parties to the Agreement are committed to the provision of training and career opportunities as an outcome of improved business competitiveness, efficiency and flexibility, through the Parties working together, and the enhancement of employee skill levels through training.
10.4. The Agreement aims to provide the appropriate framework within which to develop a flexible and multi skilled workforce, allowing a customer focused team approach to all activities. This team approach will enable any employee covered by this Agreement to perform any task within the business for which they are trained and will continue to provide the opportunity to be involved in matters which may have an impact on their working environment.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS AGREEMENT. 10.1 The parties acknowledge that the salary increases negotiated in this Agreement comprise of

(a) specify and record the minimum salaries, wages and conditions of employment of the Employees;
(b) specify and record the procedures for the resolution of disputes between the Society and the Employees; and
(c) enable the Society and the Employees to receive ongoing benefits from enterprise bargaining within the Newcastle Permanent Building Society Limited and its Group of Companies.
3.2 The Society has established a reputation for efficiency and service founded on a solid base of absolute financial security.
3.3 Through participation, team work and a shared vision for the future, the Society and the Employees will continue to achieve real, sustainable and measurable productivity gains.
3.4 This Agreement will establish a foundation to allow Employees greater flexibility and provide more opportunities to become highly skilled in an endeavour to further the mutual goals of the Society and its Employees.
3.5 Together the Society and the Employees aim to enhance the philosophy already adopted by the Society and the Employees.
3.6 Together the Society and the Employees will:
(a) Create a culture where there is an understanding of the relationship between productivity improvement and benefits to both Society and Employees;
(b) Improve all productivity measures such as quality, technology, cost, work organisation, product and service delivery;
(c) Provide a training facility and study assistance program to improve career opportunities and job enrichment;
(d) Establish participative and consultative processes, which encourage Employees to overcome any barriers to productivity improvement and communication; and
(e) Implement performance improvement programs, which have attainable standards so that achievable targets can be established, understood and agreed.
3.7 The aim of the Society for the future is to continue to:

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS AGREEMENT. 3.1 The aims and objectives of this agreement are:-
3.1.1 to allow the Council to oversee the Public Health Functions undertaken by the DPH and NHSM;
3.1.2 to give effect to the terms of the Public Health Transition Plan insofar as they affect or relate to the Public Health Functions transferring to the Council on 1st April 2013; and
3.1.3 to prepare the Council for the integration of the Public Health Functions into the day to day work of the Council from the 1st April 2013.
3.2 In order to meet the objectives in Clause 3.1 the Parties shall:
3.2.1 communicate openly about major concerns, issues or opportunities relating to the Public Health Functions;
3.2.2 discuss the financial controls and commercial arrangements (including without limitation contractual arrangements with third parties, human resources and general resources such as premises and utilities) required for the transition of the Public Health Functions to the Council from 1st April 2013;
3.2.3 share information, experience, materials and skills in relation to the Public Health Functions;
3.2.4 behave in a positive and proactive manner;
3.2.5 comply with all applicable laws and standards including, without limitation, those concerning EU procurement, data protection and freedom of information ; and
3.2.6 manage stakeholders effectively.
3.3 NHSM shall during the Transitional Period:
3.3.1 comply with all relevant national guidance relating to the Public Health Functions;
3.3.2 maintain and develop arrangements for the monitoring of all public health performance indicators and outcomes that are a requirement of national, SHA, PCTs and local partnership commitments and targets;
3.3.3 ensure that the current quality of the public health service is maintained;
3.3.4 undertake such mitigating actions as are necessary to improve performance in line with local priorities and public health performance indicators and outcomes;
3.3.5 develop the Public Health Functions across a broader footprint (as appropriate);
3.3.6 provide requisite advice and assistance to CCGs, NHS Commissioners, NHSCBA and the HWBB;
3.3.7 participate in and promote other public health networks across Cheshire and Merseyside; and
3.3.8 lead the development of the JSNA with CCGs in line with national guidance.
3.4 For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this agreement shall operate to transfer to the Council responsibility for the undertaking of the Public Health Functions during the Transitional Period. NHSM acknowledges that it s...
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS AGREEMENT. 3.1 This Agreement aims to fulfil the Employer's commitment to provide secure employment for its Employees within a marketplace which is highly dependent on demand within its business environment.
3.2 Through this Agreement the Employer aims to promote productive performance, health and safety, job security, employment growth and career development for its Employees. The Employees commit to reciprocating this by endeavouring to promote productivity, health and safety, and efficiency gains within the daily operations.

4.2. The parties are committed to consultation and communication throughout all levels of the Alwyndor Aged Care. The parties agree that effective mechanisms for communication are fundamental to the achievement of greater productivity, efficiency, flexibility and job satisfaction.
4.3. The employer shall discuss with the employees affected (and their representatives if so requested by the employees) the introduction of major changes in production, program, organisation, structure or technology, the effects the changes are likely to have on employees, measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of such changes on employees and shall give prompt consideration to matters raised by the employees and/or their union in relation to the changes.

Both parties are committed to working in collaboration to identify and progress opportunities that will deliver social and economic development benefits for the region whilst, through endeavouring to maximize the efficiency and robustness of the project’s operations, not compromising or placing an unnecessary financial burden on IGO ROM as a company with obligations to its shareholders. The aims of this MOU are therefore to ensure that: • The roles of each party are clearly understood and respected by all both parties; • Processes are developed that will assist the parties to facilitate positive local economic and social outcomes associated with the project; • Processes and mechanisms are in place to support clear communication, collaboration and support, and these mechanisms are understood and supported by both parties; • A range of agreed activities and projects are committed to by each organisation and there is a spirit of willingness to enter into further cooperative activities in the future; and • Both parties understand and commit to provide the capacity necessary to deliver the intent of this MOU.
