Callout Time. An employee reporting for work on the call of the Employer shall be paid his/her regular rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work in response to the call with a minimum of four (4) hours in any one day except where his/her work is suspended because of inclement weather or other reasons completely beyond the control of the Employer and except where the employee’s condition is such that he is not competent to perform his/her duties or has failed to comply with the Accident Prevention Regulations of WorkSafe BC.
Callout Time. Where an Employee is called out for work and no work is performed, he shall be paid four (4) hours pay, excepting that where the work is suspended due to inclement weather before any work is performed, he shall be paid two (2) hours pay and provided, however, that the Employee has reported to the job site in person, in a competent condition to carry out his duties and providing adequate notice has not been given not to report for work. Adequate notice shall be construed as follows: Where there is no camp, two (2) hours' notice prior to starting time shall be given by telephone or pre-arranged radio broadcast; where camps are maintained, one (1) hours' notice prior to starting time shall be given.
Callout Time which Abuts the Succeeding Shift (a) If the callout is for two hours or less, the employee will be required to work the callout period and the whole of the abutting shift. In this case, compensation shall be double-time rates for the callout period and straight-time rate for the regular shift. (b) For the purpose of (a) above, it is agreed that "callout" means that the employee has been called out without prior notice.
Callout Time. 16.1 Callout will be on a voluntary basis. Callout time is time worked during an unforeseen condition in which the employee is called from home and which does not necessitate a change in work schedule. Callout procedures will be established and maintained for groups subject to callout, where necessary. Rotational seniority will be the primary basis for the established procedures. Special consideration will be given to callout necessitated by storms or other disasters beyond the Company's control. 16.1.1 If the employee is required to and does report for work within two hours after called out, the employee shall be paid travel time at the overtime rate in addition to pay for time worked. The amount of travel time allowed will be the reasonable time it takes to travel from home to wherever the employee is to report. The employee will be credited with the same amount of travel time to return home except when the work for which the employee is called out continues until the beginning of the employee's next regular scheduled shift; in such cases, travel time for returning home will not be allowed. 16.1.2 For callouts responding to special accounts and/or network service outages, the Company may establish and utilize a voluntary callout list comprised of employees who are able to respond within one hour. 16.2 When an employee works six (6) or more continuous hours of callout overtime prior to the beginning of the employee's regular shift and continues working through all or a part of the following regular shift, pay at the overtime rate shall continue until the employee is relieved from duty. As necessary, an unpaid break may be provided prior to the start of the employee's regular shift without it being considered relieved from duty. Travel time paid under Section 16.1.1 will be considered as working time. 16.3 When an employee works less than six (6) continuous hours of callout overtime prior to the beginning of the employee's regular shift and continues working through all or part of the following regular shift without any break in continuity, pay at the overtime rate shall cease at the beginning of the regular shift. 16.4 Callout overtime earned by an employee shall be credited against any overtime due for work performed in excess of eight (8) straight time hours during the same day, and for work performed in excess of forty
Callout Time. An employee who has left the Company premises and who is called back to work outside of his regular scheduled hours shall be paid at the appropriate overtime rate for all work performed with minimum of four (4) hours' pay at his base rate, provided he has completed his previously scheduled shift, and except to the extent that his period overlaps and extends into his regular shift in which case the employee shall receive only his appropriate overtime rate for all hours actually worked prior to the commencement of his regular shift.
Callout Time. Employees who report for special duty at the Company’s request on a scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate applicable to such work time for a minimum of two hours except that this minimum shall not apply if the special time worked on such duty immediately precedes regular scheduled tours.

  • Part-Time A part-time employee is an employee who regularly works less than forty (40) hours per week. The Agency shall not use part-time employees to avoid full-time benefits.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.
